I'm not sure this is accurate for everyone either. My girlfriend went through a very stressful time with her spouse, betrayal, sold their house from under her, saluted her and their daughter goodbye, yet wouldn't give her a divorce etc etc... and she kept losing the weight. It's only years later when she found her peace when she actually started to gain weight.

Age plays a role in this too. In my 20’s through my early 40’s I remained within a 10 pound weight no matter my food intake. If I was going through stress I would stop eating and lose weight fast. Now after menopause I can eat a grape and gain weight. If I’m stressed I gain instead of lose even if I’m not eating. And it’s my belly and breasts that’s carrying the weight. Idk how old your gf is but I’m thinking she isn’t in her 50’s or post menopausal. I hope she’s doing good now after going through all that trauma and abuse

So…how does HRT factor into all of this? I’m convinced that diet alone won’t help with all of the symptoms and changes in our bodies due to our loss of hormones.

It is not true that only women need to feel safe to loose weight. As a mother of boys it has always disturbed me to hear only girls this and only girls that. We all have the potential for struggle and trama. I am tired of hearing that only women have struggled. I understand this channel is about empowering women but can we do it with out alienating a world full of men with their own challenges, many of which are swept under the rug.

We actually knew an infertil woman who had a shit ton of doctors tell her that they don't know the reason in her infertility and that they can't help over a period of around 5 years or something. And she just stopped eating shitty food and now she has 2 kids.. Not saying that there is a one overall solution with infertility! Sometimes problems occur in different areas of the reproductive organ and affect the fertility. However i feel that this is not talked about enough..
There's a male fitness coach who says "a calorie is a calorie". I was attempting to say why that's wrong but I was poopoohed as being stupid. A cal of protein is not the same as a cal of carb or fat, that the body processes them differently so not all calories are equal. I have very disordered eating and have been contemplating having a spoonful of olive oil on days when I'm being neglectful. Not yet summoned the courage to try it yet. 😊

I wanted to go more into really understanding how our bodies work so we can stop being on the hamster wheel of counting calories. And understanding how our bodies process foods and how that impacts our hormones was so enlightening to me, so that was really my main focus. But I absolutely will take this under strong consideration and again, I really value this feedback so thank you!

So…how does HRT factor into all of this? I’m convinced that diet alone won’t help with all of the symptoms and changes in our bodies due to our loss of hormones.

@@LisaBilyeu i believe it unnecessary to even bring up men in this discussion. It is not true that 'men' lose weight by cutting out creamer. It is not true that only women need to feel safe to loose weight. As a mother of boys it has always disturbed me to hear only girls this and only girls that. We all have the potential for struggle and trama. I am tired of hearing that only women have struggled. I understand this channel is about empowering women but can we do it with out alienating a world full of men with their own challenges, many of which are swept under the rug.

18:37 omg the infertility because of shitty food is so freaking crazy. We actually knew an infertil woman who had a shit ton of doctors tell her that they don't know the reason in her infertility and that they can't help over a period of around 5 years or something. And she just stopped eating shitty food and now she has 2 kids..
Not saying that there is a one overall solution with infertility! Sometimes problems occur in different areas of the reproductive organ and affect the fertility. However i feel that this is not talked about enough..

There's a male fitness coach who says "a calorie is a calorie". I was attempting to say why that's wrong but I was poopoohed as being stupid. A cal of protein is not the same as a cal of carb or fat, that the body processes them differently so not all calories are equal. I have very disordered eating and have been contemplating having a spoonful of olive oil on days when I'm being neglectful. Not yet summoned the courage to try it yet. 😊

Don't fry with the oil. You can bake, air fry, etc and then drizzle and toss with olive oil and herbs and spices after
