Hi Anna. I have to say you have given me hope to start a new hobby/ craft business. I’d like to learn cold process but I’m raising my granddaughter n just don’t have the time to take but melt n pour takes out the hard part n gives way to creativity. Thank you for sharing your talent
Waffle cuts are squares like waffles that we eat. You have a crinkle cutter and a straight cutter (crinkle cut like french fries).. you might want to freeze the cup to get the leftover out easier. Also, it's soap... Just let it soak in water.... It will naturally dissolve.... Because it's soap. Love your videos. Your voice is relaxing. You don't say um like others I've viewed, which is somewhat annoying! Thank you for your presentation. You just gained another subscriber! Please keep up the FANTABULOUS WORK!
I just tried this today ... I think. LOL I'm going in so many directions today, I'm fairly confident mine will not look anything like yours. I LOVE your tutorial videos, though. Thank you for offering them!
You are an awesome teacher. Adding your tutorials to my Melt and Pour Magic playlist. I've learned so many new things from you. New ideas floating in my head with MP!!! Yea :)Jen
Good morning Anna! I have seen this before but forgot about it! LOL Love the way the waffle cutter made the slices look. I really enjoy seeing M&P video's because the majority of soap making channels are all CP. I make a lot of different body products including M&P soap so this is awesome! I have been saying I was going to dive into the CP world but just haven't done it thus far. Haha ; ) Thanks for keeping the wonderful world of M&P here for us to enjoy and get more tops and ideas. Have a great weekend...Big ((Hugs)) from Texas!! xo : )
So I made my own soap this past weekend and they turned out beautiful but the natural smell of the soap is more over powering than the fragrance oil. Is there a way to smell more of the fragrance oil then the soap smell? Sure Maybe change soaps? I used honey soap and shea butter soap.
That’s very cool, good to c ur spraying the mica out of your mold gets it all out lol excellent swirls!! Another one I’m going to have to try holy hehe thx for sharing 😊
Instead of a finger, when it's hot, you could use the back of a metal teaspoon. It won't harm anything, either spoon or soap. Lovely project to do with children at any time! Thank you!!💗👏👏
How creative was that!!!! Loved it. I agree the crinkle cut really brings out the colors by adding depth. Beautiful my dear!😍😍😍 PS I have been watching your work for awhile now before subbing and hands down (as they say) you work the heck outta MP! You are my NEW FAV MP SOAPER! Take a bow...this was really good!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us....I love your videos! I was wondering what brand of soap bases do you use? I've tried several brands but I've had an issue with them seizing up & hardening up too quickly. I even tried melting them slowly at 10 sec at a time with no difference. How do you melt & keep yours so liquids?
i am new to this. as a matter of fact, i haven't even started yet lol. still watching as many of the "HOW TO's as i need to. so far i like yours best. i am still in the process of watching it and had a question. i am doing bath bombs and came up with my own mixture of fragrances and wondered if it would work with the soap making. instead of essential oils, i have been using pure ground cinnamon, ground all spice, ground ginger and ground cloves. being all dry ingredients, will it still work? i hope so as the smell is fantastic in my bath bombs and a gr8 seller for me. thank you for the gr8 tutorial!
Okay so i’m new to the melt and pour method,. Do we have to add glycerin like you did? or i thought glycerin and lye was already in the melt and pour soap?
Love this technique. One question from a newbie.. I am guessing the Shea butter won’t be soap as from what I understand it hasn’t been mixed with lye so won’t saponification? Have I it wrong?
Were there any holes or gaps in the finished soap? I really love this technique and want to try it. I just don't want to waste soap ingredients that I have to sell. Thanks!
Yes, they have many types of melt and pour Shea Butter is one that is sold for melt and pour soap base. There is also Shea Butter that is not melt and pour soap base. I think there is a link below. 🌺
The soap came out so pretty but omg, you had lost me for a minute when you started pouring on the silicone mats. Lol!!!!
Me too lol
OMG! I thought you had no idea what you were doing. Absolutely gorgeous! Impressive! Thanks!
Lovely method of teaching 👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️

I love that its beautiful
Beautiful I love it!!!!!
Thanks so much for sharing.
How does that melt and pour stay fluid. I would have had to heat it 10 times during the video.
How did you remedy that? I"m currently having the same problem.
Hi from Australia can you tell me where you bay the mat...thanks
I would like to know the brand name of the melt and pour soap you are using
i am new to this. as a matter of fact, i haven't even started yet lol. still watching as many of the "HOW TO's as i need to. so far i like yours best. i am still in the process of watching it and had a question. i am doing bath bombs and came up with my own mixture of fragrances and wondered if it would work with the soap making. instead of essential oils, i have been using pure ground cinnamon, ground all spice, ground ginger and ground cloves. being all dry ingredients, will it still work? i hope so as the smell is fantastic in my bath bombs and a gr8 seller for me. thank you for the gr8 tutorial!
I am not sure how they react in melt and pour soap. You could try it and let me know. 💞 Thanks for the kind words.
@@koalasoap8435 well like they say whoever they are trial and error I will give it a try and I will let you know thank you for getting back to me
Are you using Shea butter MP? Or straight Shea butter? I'm new so sorry for the dumb question.
I don't think it was a stupid question I was wondering the same thing..
I need to know if this can only be done with melt and pour
Is the mica colour water soluble
I have a question. The shreds you use in these soaps are the melt and pour from previous or are they cold process shreds
thank you for sharing ~~awesome
Okay so i’m new to the melt and pour method,. Do we have to add glycerin like you did? or i thought glycerin and lye was already in the melt and pour soap?
Can you share the scent and where to buy please
Love this technique. One question from a newbie.. I am guessing the Shea butter won’t be soap as from what I understand it hasn’t been mixed with lye so won’t saponification? Have I it wrong?
I use shea butter melt and pour base. Not raw shea butter. Hope that helps.
How much fragrance oil to add to that batch of soap?
Can these techniques be done with the larger molds? Such as the 5 lb rectangular molds?
yes, just add more melt and pour base.
Koala Soap ok thank you
Were there any holes or gaps in the finished soap? I really love this technique and want to try it. I just don't want to waste soap ingredients that I have to sell. Thanks!
As long as you tap and squeeze the base of mold after pour I have no pockets.
Where do u get the melt and pour?
Perfect
Hi about how long did u let the soap sit before rolling it up?
Just until firm enough to do so.
All that for five bars of soap... I'll try it in bigger molds and see how that works. Very pretty though!
How much time passed before you were able to unmold your soap.
Isnt Mica unethical? Is there a way to make coloured soap without using it? :o
I use food colouring. It works very well. Look on eBay or Amazon or specialist soap making sites.
How is it ur bases are not hardening that fast
what do you do to all your soaps?Do you sell it??its all so beautiful!!
What size is that sq mold? & may I ask where do I get them from? This is so awsome! Love your videos. Tfs
Hello, I put the link in the description. Thanks for the kind words.
How much did this cost you to make? I've always been wanting to start making soap but have been worried about the costs
Cud u use soap base to replace the glycerin and Shea butter?
They make many different melt and pour soap bases. Glycerin and Shea Butter are just a few. So the short answer is yes.🌺
Are those little metal mixing bowls for bath bombs? Or where did you get them? Love the idea as well
Yes, they were on hand and work great.
Can you put those measuring cups (cup with spout) in the microwave?
Yes, you can.
What is the cure time frame? Sorry im new to this
Wow ....
Where did you get your little spatulas from? Those are adorable
Yogurt store down the street. 🌺
Lol Koala soap, When I pressed on this I was expecting an Australian.... 😆
Hi Dale, my mom loves loves loves Koalas. I named it for her
I spy weenies???? On the towel? I have 2! Going to try this swirl. So pretty
You keep saying shea butter. Is it shea butter melt and pour?
Yes, they have many types of melt and pour Shea Butter is one that is sold for melt and pour soap base. There is also Shea Butter that is not melt and pour soap base. I think there is a link below. 🌺
What inspired the name of the soap Anna?
I have no imagination, so I ask the kids for help. 🌺
Did you forget the fragrance? I don't remember you putting it in.
Sometimes I forget to add on camera, but I use roughly 5ml per pound of soap.
