- In this video I will show how I swirl my melt and pour soap. Melt and pour soap is usually melted in the microwave making the soap really hot and impossible to swirl. Follow the steps in this video and you will be swirling your melt and pour soap in no time.
The soap featured in this video is the Body of Water yoni soap from Goldkissed Essentials. It is formulated for feminine body care, helps keep pH balanced, helps eliminate odor, boosts libido and so much more. Learn more about this soap at goldkissedessentials.com.

Thanks for talking about the Temps to look for, no one ever mentions that!
No problem! That’s the most important part when swirling melt and pour soap❤️
I needed to learn this. thank you so much. great job
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching ❤️

Thank you ❤️ Etsy, Andy’s soap cutter

Thanks so much❤️

Thank you…that was great. Beautiful soap. I would like to know how you keep your soap to stay in a thin trance. Within like three minutes my soap get lumpy. I put it back in the microwave…that helped but I don’t see you having to do that.
Hi, thank you for watching ❤️ It could be the soap you’re using. I use crafters choice detergent free melt and pour and I usually have to wait about 10-15 mins for it to cool down and thicken.
Great Soap!! Where did you buy your soap cutter?
Thank you! Ordered on Etsy, Andy’s Soap Cutter
I just started making melt and pour soap and I can't wait to try your technique. Can you tell me the size of your mold? I bought some and they are small 😞
Oh no! I use 3lb soap molds they hold about 45oz of soap. You can find them right on Amazon. Good luck on your soaping journey! ❤️
Wow it's amazing .What size mold you used?
Thank you for watching ❤️ 3lb mold
Love this method of pouring soap! Were did you purchase the soap cutter?
Me too, my fave for melt and pour! 😆

Nice! I have rose hip powder and natural powdered colors,,will that still work w swirl method?
Yes, just make sure the colors contrast enough. I loooove rosehip powder and oil. Sounds like a luxury bar of soap is in the works ❤️
Lovely video. Patience is not my strength, lol. Can you tell us what colors you use and where you get them? My colors fade or change color over time (still learning and practicing).
Thank you so much! I use micas from a lot of different sources and I’ve never had that issue. It might be the melt and pour base you’re using that is the problem. Try one off the detergent free melt and pour bases from wholesale supplies plus. I buy micas from there as well. Thanks for watching ❤️
Do you use lye as well?
No lye needed for melt and pour
Where did u get ur soap cutter? Xxx❤
Andy’s Soap Cutters on Etsy ❤️
Can you reproduce similar textures that the cold process offers but seems to be impossible?
Depends on which soap designs but mainly it would be a no because the soaps behave so differently
What are you spraying?
Oh i now heard 😍
can you tell m where you got your soap cutter from please
Etsy, Andy’s Soap cutter
Hi can i check with you what is the white soap?
Hi, it’s a detergent free shea butter base
Can I do this with a combo of olive oil, oatmeal, and/or honey based?
Yes!
Where did you get the cutter your using? I can't seem to get even cuts with the ones I have?
Etsy, Uncle Andy’s Soap Cutter. My bars seem to come out pretty even. So much better than free hand
@goldengoodies I was wondering if that was the one. I've been on the fence about getting it but I will now. Thank you🙂
Hi! Where did you get your soap cutter used in the video? Thanks
you can find wavy cutters in soap making kits
@Beanmachine91 I have one that is a hand held/manual krinkle cutter. But, what she has is different, I actually found it on Etsy.
Yes sorry for the late reply. Andy’s soap cutter from Etsy
where is your press from?
Etsy, Uncle Andy’s Soap Cutter
Does it sweat? Glycerin due
It is a glycerin based soap so it can sweat but as long as you don’t over do it on the additives you should be ok.
What the name of the thermometer youre using? Also what are spraying on the soap? Is it alcohol?
It’s a forehead thermometer and yes alcohol. Thanks for watching!
@goldengoodies thanks a lot, I'm looking into getting in the soap, biz, lol. I love watching them being made and just decided to just jump in and give it a go. If you don't mind answering another question of mines. Is it better to do cold press soap or the melt and pour? I figured I'd start with the melt and pour since I'm so new to it.
It’s just a matter of preference. I started with melt and pour soap because it’s a much more simple process and after doing a lot of research I tried my luck with cold process soap. My first batch wasn’t the prettiest but it was soap lol
What brands of M n P did u use
Crafters Choice, detergent free aloe and shea ❤️
@@goldengoodies thank you
How much mp fits in that mold? How much do I need to plan to melt without waste?
It is 3lb mold but it can hold about 3.5lbs if you fill it to the top
@@goldengoodies thanks! So when I melt the soap down, do I cube up 3.5lb of the base, melt and pour? I'm sure this is so obvious lol but I don't want to start it and not have nearly enough or too much. I made the mistake with my small molds and had to fill up random molds that is not what I'm going for just so I didn't waste it but essentially it is a waste
Ok I understand. If that’s the case start with 3lbs of soap and see if that works for you. 3.5 will fill the mold all the way to the top. Yes, cube 3lbs of soap.
