    Just a quick tip (from someone who's been working with Crafter's Choice MP soaps for 20+ years), cut your clear base in smaller chunks before melting it. This will eliminate the clumps, cut down stirring time and decrease the risk of overheating ;-)

    I love the colors! I’ve been making hot process for years and lately started learning the cold process method. Now I want to start learning how to use melt and pour. One of my favorite designs is confetti soap so your video is just what I needed to see. Thank you for sharing your process.

    That is so pretty! I have found that a few times my top layer has broken off when I've done layer soap. I am relatively new at soap making and did some research and came up with the answer that perhaps it was too much alcohol but I noticed when you made this bar you sprayed liberally also. Could it be something else? Any advice would be most welcome!

      I always do because I tend to get spots in my mica powder if I do not.

      Not very much, only enough is need to disolve the mica.

    I brought those colorants from amazon also however I don’t like how they disperse in CP. They settle at the bottom of my soaps.

      70% works fine. I find that for me, 90% or above helps layers adhere better. That being said, I have heard that many use 70% without any issues. 😊

      Yes, the entire soap is melt and pour. All parts of soap are scented except for clear part.
