  • Hong Kong Style Claypot Rice (煲仔飯) with sticky rice and tons of different meats. We used glutinous sticky rice for this claypot rice recipe. If you don't have a clay pot, you can use an instant pot or just add everything into the rice cooker. Also known as Bo Zai Fan, you can make this at the comfort of your own home.

    Recipe Ingredients:
    - 30g Dried Mushrooms
    - 100g Pork Spare Ribs
    - 1 tsp Soy Sauce
    - 1 tsp Shaoxing Wine
    - 1 tsp Sugar
    - 1 tsp Corn Starch
    - 1/2 tsp White Pepper
    - 70g Chinese Cured Sausage
    - 25g Chinese Cured Pork Belly
    - 1 Cup Glutinous Rice
    - 1 tsp Sesame Oil
    - 1 Tbsp Sweet Soy Sauce
    Instructions:
    1. Add water into a bowl of dried mushrooms and set aside.
    2. Cut your meats into small pieces. Marinate the spare ribs with soysauce, Shaoxing wine, sugar, white pepper and cornstarch. Pan fry the spare ribs in a small pan on high heat. Don't over cook, just make sure all sides are brown.
    3. Blanch the sausages and pork belly in boiling water. Drain the water and set aside.
    4. In a clay pot, add your glutinous rice. You can also use regular rice. Add water and let it sit on stove in high heat until bubbles start to form. Add in all the meat and let it sit in medium heat.
    5. Grab and slice your hydrated mushrooms, add to clay pot. Let the pot sit until all the water is evaporated.
    6. Drizzle sesame oil and sweet soy sauce.
