Thanks to all you wonderful people in the comments, following is a list of places you can get open ended toys in India:
Endow toys
Piccolo toys
Thasvi toys
Chitrani toys
Skola
Bloomybrain
Shumee
Ariro
Playbug
Bloon toys
thenestery.in/collections/stacking-and-nesting-toys.
Please let all of us know if you can add any other stores/websites, word of mouth is supreme for such toys because they are not advertised as much.
Thanks so much for watching and all your support!
Please DO NOT order from ENDOW TOYS (Surekha Jadhav) store. They sent us a defective piece with the top arc broken off, blackened and rotten, and the colors splashed on pieces, After SEVERAL emails, we finally received an incomplete refund. The original order was placed in June and product received in August, and (incomplete) refund finally received in October. Highly unethical seller! Steer clear of their store to save your time, energy and money!
This is soooo helpful. Esp the fact that you always mention which age he started with.. the fact that he is still playing with them.. v thoughtful.
Thank you, yeah most of these are used almost every single day!
Thank you for all the lovely suggestions
i liked what you said about not having high expectations. It helped, and about the blocks also. this video is great
Thank you!
You are so informative. This video is a savior for us. Can’t thank you enough.😊
Aww thanks!
This video came out at the right moment. I have been researching a lot from last couple of weeks and planning to buy the Open ended toys for my 14 month old girl. Mention of above brands are extremely useful for me as some of them were not appearing when I searched in Google. Thank you again. Cheers. Keep spreading love and knowledge :)
That's awesome, thanks so much for writing!
Thanks for sharing your experiences.. which really means.
Thank you so much for watching!
Hi Vidya, you are such a darling to share these open ended toys and come up with such creative ideas. I always used to wonder why my 2 yo isnt playing with expensive toys I got for him but instead enjoying simple things like bottle caps, utensils etc. Thats when I started giving him open ended toys and he enjoyed them so much. Thanks a ton for these videos which arent done by anyone else on youtube or elsewhere. On rainbow stack, i found one by Piccolo on amazon which looks like good quality and is also reasonably priced 🙂
So true right, they love to be included in everyday life, instead of being dismissed with a set of toys. Thanks for the info on the wooden rainbow, I'm sure it would be useful to other parents too:)
This is wonderful. Thank you so much!
Thank you for these suggestions. Really useful ☺️
You're so welcome!
Just loved the video. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to your videos definitely.

Hi Vidya!!! Your content is unique and always makes me think out of the box... thanks for all your amazing work.. keep it up!!
One request.. can you rank these toys in the order that i can introduce to my 2 year old son?

Your videos are always so helpful 🙏🙏🙏
Lots of Love❤️❤️❤️
So nice of you! Thanks a lot!
Hi vidya. Just wanted to say that u r a great mother and i learn a lot from you. keep doing the good work that you are doing. We need more people like you in this society so that we can give best citizens of tomorrow. Love you and respect you dear.
Thank you so much for such kind words, but I'm really no different from you. If you shared what you learned along this journey, I'm sure it would be so valuable. This connection with other moms is what I was going for when I make videos. We constantly learn from each other, lots of love!
Hii vidya
Its always nice to hear you I really like the way you are🤗
Please suggest me some books on parenting
Perfect one.. Very useful.. I am looking for this kind of video from long time. Thanks.
I'm so glad you found it useful!
Lovely to catch everything about open-ended toys with ease of Indian momma on the other side understanding day to day challenges we might face while acquiring and maintaining them. One little suggestions, pls do mention the age from when you introduced each one of them like you mentioned for pegs figurines. Age specific introduction is required in few.
I have become a real fan of yours vidya. My son will turn 2 next month and with open ended toys we hardly had blocks for him. But after your video I realised how such toys are so so useful for them and so ordered rainbow stacker as a gift for him. And I also plan to introduce him to more such open ended toys this developmental year. I also feel because many open ended toys are not attractive people feel that toys are boring which isn't a case.
Thank you so much for sharing, I've seen the benefit of these first hand, and they are amazing! But start with no expectations, it takes time!
Very true...
Hi vidya, I love your channel and learnt a lot from it. Great topic as usual!! Would love to see you cover topics like how do you handle use of mobile phones/laptop/tv in their presence?
Thank you, will talk about screen time in another video!
So helpful! Thankyou.
Glad it was helpful!
Hey vidya! Wanted to know when u started giving Vikrant trainees cup instead of sipper
Need of the hour dear.. I was planning to buy toys for my 1yr old baby.. and ur video seems so helpful.. much love❤️
Perfect timing! I hope you find these useful.
Such a useful video it is.. If I may ask, did u teach Vikrant about all the play activity like hope a garage look, how a nest look, or did he learn by himself by looking some pictures or videos?
It could be a combination of both, sometimes I get started with an idea and he takes off with it, other times he comes up with his own ideas, which is a lot of fun for us to watch! Kids are so creative if we just let them be 🤗
What a great video! Very informative. Thank you .. I got the rainbow stacker and other open ended Waldorf toys in india from piccolo toys, shumee, playbug toys, bloon toys, endow toys , chitrani toys ..
This helps a lot, thanks!
Can u please share me which were reasonable brands ,I have 18month old

Hehe, the bird was from amazon, the nest was just a bunch of twigs we gathered!
Great video. At what age did you start seeing the most use of the Grimms rainbow and planks ?
Around 3, but every child is different.
@@Feelgoodmama thanks ! My kid is 2 so I am not late to buy this. Also I I found Chitrani toys in Jodhpur,India who make toys similar to Grimms. However they are as expensive as Grimms.
@@tanayanadkarni3172 Thank you for this info! Age 2 is perfect for introducing these.

Nice video very helpful. Can you put a video about use on flash cards for learning.
I don't use them. Thanks!
@@Feelgoodmama ok. Thanks for the reply :-)
Thanku Vidya .. great help for toys selection .. plz provide this toys online link in India .. love the video.
There are some recommendations in the comments, do see.
Hi,
I want to buy Magna tiles .can you suggest 36 pieces will enough or I need to go for 100 Pcs set? and you have provided other brand magnetic tile also. Is it good in quality?
The other brand ones are fun to play with, but magnets are not as strong. But they haven't broken yet, so quality is fine. 36 pieces should be a good start, there are unique sets available which you can get later if they enjoy the smaller set.
Hello dear...I am your big fan....could you pls let me know few online links to buy open ended toy ...or can we make those at home...my kid is 4 yrs old
All the links will be in the description for this video!
Hey Vidya. Thank you . Waiting for this video 😊

This video was super helpful, thank you! I found your video when researching open-ended-play toys (for gift ideas for Christmas 2020)
I have 20 month old twins and I needed to hear your advice about not having high expectations. My boys also like to knock over my towers that I build for them & I found it disheartening that they didn’t try copying me but now I have a new, healthier perspective on it.
Glad it was helpful! It was a learning curve for me, to sit back and not meddle with my son's play ;)
What are the best toys for 6-12 month old babies.. Please suggest
See my video on baby toys
Much love from Kerala.....💕💕💕it was very informative time with you dear...am a mother of one year old boy I bought some toys like this but he is not even sitting with them what he need is to walk around, climbing steps...etc
That's exactly what he needs to do at his age, he doesn't need to sit and play with toys. He needs to explore in every possible way. Leave the toys around or put them away and bring them out after a couple of months. Let him be interested at his own pace.
@@Feelgoodmama Okay dear...how old is vikranth ryt now..i used to watch almost all ur video...I just love it..all the best..

I used Lara Dutta's prenatal yoga video, it had some kegels too
@@Feelgoodmama ohkie thank you so much dear.....
You are my god gifted sis
Does Vikrant get screen time?
yes! selective shows though
Wht age did u introduce rocker board
We started at 3, but could be introduced much earlier, it's amazing!
Can I introduce magnatiles to 2 year old. Since most toys say 3year plus on their packaging
We had no problems with them at 2 years old, they are pretty sturdy, if you're worried about putting things in their mouths, supervise initially.
Is it a good idea to introduce now or wait for few months
magnets will be something new
Which is the age to introduce these toys?
Hard to recommend age since every child is different, open ended toys can be introduced as early as it is safe. You can buy a set and see if he/she is interested. If not, try again after a few months.
Hi Vidya, my daughter is now 20 months old and she started liking towards watching videos on phone and TV. Can you please share your experiences and views on type of content to introduce to toddlers. Also how much screen time should be allowed etc...
Will talk about screen time in a video, soon!
Feel good mama waiting to see this soon
Thank you very much for the info. Just wanted to mention Chitranis rainbow wooden stacker though cheaper alternative but the quality is pathetic. I have a six piece stacker myself. The finishing is not good at all.
Thanks for sharing!
Its really cool video. In future will you make some videos on educational toys
Planning to do one soon!

hi vidhya.. do you give your son zero screen time?
He does watch videos, but selective ones.
is it okay to give screen time because many say it is hard to pull them back out of it once they find it addicted.. am a mom of 2yr old.. i have no screen time for him. but still my says one day he gonna watch it.. whats the point in restricting? am going in a right track.. pls give a reply
Nice video. Just curious, are you expecting? Or have you just put on weight?
It’s the quarantine weight 🤣🙈🙆♀️
@@Feelgoodmama haha. This quarantine has taught us many things. All we need is home cooked food and we stay happy and healthy , not worried about eating too much and putting on weight. At the end of the day its home cooked food, ofcourse its gonna be healthy.
