This is the first time I am writing comments on your blog... I'm just impressed with all your blogs..thank you so much for providing us with so many information.... you are great.
LOVE that you brought this up! I just bought Ariya, my 16 month old daughter, some open ended toys (Grimms rainbows and semicircles along with some others) and we also subscribed to Lovevery. Shes at a stage where she's all about mobility and gross motor skills, so most of her toys don't get played with just yet! I can't wait to see her imagination blossom when she's ready to play with them! I think a great suggestion for parents is to buy one piece every few months (especially the expensive stuff!) once you have your little one so you can build their collection. Also, LOVE LOVE LOVE the suggestion for gifting these! They make such wonderful gifts! I can eagerly looking forward to your next video! Hope you're well during these trying times!
I know right, I've been frustrated about this so many times before I realized that the nature of an open ended toy is to invite play and not passively entertain.
thank you so much Vidya for always making such a helpful videos. I sware you helped me a lot right from my pregnancy days and now my daughter is 13 months old and because of you I introduced books to my since she was a baby and I blindly follow your recommendations and tips because they're helping me a lot. I'm forever grateful for you. I always pray for you and your family well being❤️❤️❤️ You deserve to way more subscribers Lots of Love ♥️
It's so wonderful to hear that your little one is enjoying being read to! Thank you so so much for letting me be part of your life in a small way. Hehe, but I'm sure you're a wonderful mom and do your research well, and not blindly follow anyone, not even me!
Wow Vidya thanks for bringing up this video. It’s really a need for this time.. I am trying to encourage my baby for open ended play because it’s not possible for me to go out and buy something new for him everytime which I used to do earlier.. and because of that habit of mine I have accumulated so much of toys and now I really want to get rid if them so this video is really really helpful 🙏🏻 I also collect some random things like pebbles stick a cap etc etc because my baby loves to play with them bit than during my decluttering process I threw them:( I should have rather collected them In a bin like you just showed Thanks a lot 🙏🏻😊
Hi vidya I am a mom of a 19 months toddler , it's very hard to keep him engaged during this lockdown as we can't go out , he is bored of his toys . This video gave me a right solution for our problem, waiting for your next video pls upload soon. Thank you
Hi Vidya, I have been following your videos since my pregnancy.. great content.. I learnt from your videos that we can introduce books to even babies and my 1.5 year old loves books now. Please do a video on screen time (how and when to introduce and how to limit it) if possible and what type of content is good for kids to watch. I am not planning to give my son screen time anytime soon, but would be nice to know 😊
Hi Vidya.. just started following ur video today!! And I simply luv it!! Plz would luv to see more videos for preschoolers regarding toys and books I should be doing..my daughter is 3 yrs old..I wish I saw ur videos earlier..
Thanks a lot Vidya!! Ur vidoes always give so much insight. This was like an eyeopener for me. Waiting eagerly for ur next one. Again Thanks a lot and do keep up the good work.
He mostly leads the play, and I go along with it. There's also a general routine which involves talking about today's date, weather outside, taking a walk with dad, reading, dancing to music, and random silliness!
Hi Vidhya, you really come up with great quality content. Also deliver that content so cleverly without revolving on the same. I did not know this is called open ended play but kind of introduced them into our play. But I am really interested in learning how you do it at home along with toys suggestions. Most of wooden toys I have come across and tried to buy are pretty expensive. How to chose best toys and also could you share your thoughts on Playkits that gets delivered like Lovevery.
I just stumbled upon your channel recently. Binge watching you while Breastfeeding my 4 month old. Feeling a little disconsolated as to why I didn't find you before. Missed so much N Gained so much for the future. Thanks for being there. Love❤️
hi vithya, hv been following ur channel for yrs now. u hv been posting a meaningful videos all time. I hv gained so much of clarity in bringing up my son thru ur videos. Thanku for sharing all ur experience. Would u suggest flintobox or einstein box kinds of activities? My son is 18months now.
Hi. Love your videos..we as a couple find them very insightful :). Could you please let us know how you keep the toys clean? Any products that you might suggest?
I wash all soft toys periodically (esp after he gets a cold), other toys are either rinsed with water and soap, or just wiped as needed. I don't use any special products for toys.
Thanks for the ideas mam. I also saw your sensory play video where u mentioned u will be coming with few more videos in that series. Can you please come up with those videos?
I love your videos, it helped me so much during my pregnancy now my baby is 2 and half month old, I got so much positivity watching your videos, and one more thing I love the way you talk so calm...
Hi ma'am ....I am a mother of 20 month old baby boy...I am struggling in giving him food....he doesn't like to eat by himself....we need to divert his mind by playing with toys/videos....and he doesn't take any other milk still on breastfeeding...can you help me ??? Plzzz

Great suggestion! Thanks for sharing, we love those toys so much too, but it did take a while to warm up to them :)
Such a great video. Love how you touched base on how it’s okay if you spend $ on a toy and they don’t gravitate to it right away.
I know right, I've been frustrated about this so many times before I realized that the nature of an open ended toy is to invite play and not passively entertain.
Been following you for 2+ years, every time you come up with fab content.

Sure, will share all the links in the upcoming video!
Vidya , my son is 16 months old Iam planning to subscribe Montessori based toy play kit . Should I invest in Montessori or invest in open ended toys ?
It depends, I do have both, my son prefers open ended toys more, but if you want to teach a specific skill Montessori toys are good.
Hi Vidhya , my son is 12 months old . Is it too early to introduce open ended toys to him ? I was planning to buy the rainbow stacker and mega blocks
Those are a great start
Mam it's nice video.plz share how can purchase magnetic shapes toys plz share link it plz rply me
Will share all that and more in the next video!
What would be the appropriate age to introduce them to this play
As early as possible, just make sure the toys are safe for babies, as in no small parts, sharp edges etc.
