I still have my son's play silks 30 years later! These are great ideas. Thank you!

When I was pregnant, I combed through almost the entire Bella Luna website and bought almost all of these and many MANY more. I mean they really took all of my paychecks. One thing I would have included is the four elements puzzle blocks. They are so versatile for making different scenes and obviously double as a puzzle to make putting it away more fun and mentally stimulating.

It is so good to see toys that are not based upon violent conflict like what I was raised with.

The friends in cups is a favourite in our house. It was my daughter’s first birthday gift and I have been evangelising about it every since!

Oh, Sarah - I’m so glad I’ve found you (albeit a little bit late)! I’ve recently done a declutter of our 15 month olds’ “noisemakers”…you know the ones! 😂
I wanted simple toys in the beginning, but even I fell prey to the almighty Fisher-Price.
Fast forward to today - I’m far more mindful of what comes in this house! I’ve scoured your Bella Luna website, and my goodness, I have a cart-full. I wish I had invested in these items in the beginning!
Thank you for all you do, and I hope to see more videos from you!

I’m definitely going to treasure these suggestions. Your videos are so well made and organized and I know how hard they must be to make, so you should know that they are appreciated.

Could you do a podcast interview with your two sons and share where they are in their career after Waldorf early childhood education

    European mum here.
Why do you call it Holiday? We call it Christmas!
Or are you not talking about Dec 24th - 26th....?

Holiday is a non religion specific term so it could refer to Christmas but also Chanukah, Easter, Purim, Halloween etc

What about a child who doesn’t play with toys at ALL but is too young to read? He has no interest in art either. He just likes people, not things. He will only play with toys if he has a friend to play with. He doesn’t like to play alone.

Read to him. He can look at the pictures. Even if he doesn't understand the words, it helps language development. You're never too young for books. And if he likes to play with toys with others, get involved. Maybe making ball runs with blocks for him and letting him simply drop the ball will be engaging and he'll grow a desire to help you make them and eventually make them on his own. Also look into toy rotation if you haven't already.
