Ahhh thank you so much Andy!!! I’m so pleased you love this as much as I do! It’s such a brilliant product. Really appreciate the mention and chuffed to bits to hear you’re still watching my channel!! 🥰🥰
Made my own many years ago using a piece of stove pipe . Cut it to 6 inches and drilled holes in it . Then I simply locked it in as usual to make my cylindrical stove pipe stove . Lays in a semicircle right down the side of my pack . Made the case out old denim from pants that were worn out .
Outdoor Gear Essentials sent me the 14 inch lightweight version, didn't like it at first until I lit it... Amazing stoves and now it lives in my bergen... Cheers Andy great review.. ATB Chris.
Great looking steak for sure ! Glad you liked the stoves such a clever yet simple design, many thanks for reviewing them Atb Col Outdoor Gear Essentials

Colin has some great bits of kit i really like the x14 fire used it twice now but I'm very interested in the bigger stove nice video mate atvb Jimmy 😎😎👍👍
thanks so much for this review! Regarding the X Boil: if you get the ultralight burner from them (I think you have it already), the Trangia ring can be set on top, fits and you can actually adjust the flame
I was thinking Oh My Goodness I wonder if I was fishing on a wooden dock If I could catch the fish and cook it right on the dock after catching it with one of them paper thin stoves? Game changer right there LOL My sister always says If she had something she could put on the dock to stay warm She would being fishing all the time.
Hi Andy, I like the idea of a mug with the stove and burner in it for lightweight travel. Saw the camp video, x fire looked pretty good fot the breakfast, even better for todays beast of a steak!
Good to see that the basic principle of the Benghazi burner is still alive and kicking. Squaddies will always find a way to brew up, and if life gives you tins, sand and petrol . . .
Two comments: I made my chemical/wood stove from perforated titanium. It fits in my titanium cup as well. I just cut the sheet of titanium to size and shaped it to fit. No drilling as the manufacturer of the product you displayed. Additionally, you should know better than to cook a handsome piece of meat inside a pan. The best tasting meat is cooked over a wood fire, not in a pan. All the best. TA, TA.
bye the way, the pot rest are intended to be the feet to protect the underground. but best on this system is, that you can use it in multi ways. When using upside down, it could be used as small table, etc.....
Fun Fact: If the steak dont fit in the pan, feel free to cut it in half, then cook the 2 smaller ones instead. They will both taste the same, i promise!
Which mega beast did you carve that steak off? lol. It was huge! You did a great review of these stoves and they are tickling my G.A.S. lol..but I'm going to fight the temptation as best as I can.
Yes Andi, here you have presented the XBoil very well😉✌🏻🤙🏼You can put the XFire together completely flat with the help of the Sticks by pinching the bend at the top and inserting the end into the holes of the XFire. it's already completely flat for the bag😎✌🏻
Nice, But there is even a better concept in the States that is flat, but fashions in a “cone” shape. The cone can be adjusted for various sized pots and has a slot for the handles to stick out. Made out of Titanium and packs flat or wind up just the same. Forget who makes it, though.
I can't understand the name kent survival but it's the survival bit that get me you have have massive steaks whole lambs etc where is the survival in that 😮
Please understand, I'm a nice person. You are not. I will not bore you with the whole story, but you need to know that what you do here on UA-cam is hurtful to at least ONE of your viewers. I WAS a trucker, and I made sure to have any gear necessary for survival in my rig, just in case. That made me hyperaware of overall size and cost for all my gear. I am no longer what anyone could consider a "consumer". I am retired from over the road truck driving. I developed a system for camping, and when my wallet allows, I purchase the gear I want. Then I watch YOU. You have shown me AT LEAST TWO entire stages of my four stage camping set up, AND I CAN'T AFFORD ANY OF IT!!! You, sir, have the power of influence over the masses... use it wisely. Thanks for ruining my plans, but I don't hold a grudge. Happy trails!
@@carmenmartinez2882 I wasn't trying to throw shade or insult anyone, I was trying to humorously convey the fact that EVERY time I settle on my next purchase SOMEONE goes and posts new MORE EXPENSIVE AND BETTER GEAR reviews that blow my future plans apart. Love this guy, I only follow 3 outdoor lovers on UA-cam and would never intentionally troll any of them. Sorry for the attempt at humor, I'll do better... cheers

Nice review Andy, they look real nice. I find circular cake racks make great racks for the top and weigh very little

Andy, when you you were giving the weights, I thought you were giving the prices. 350…(I was expecting Pounds(£), not grams 🤣🤣)
Same here 😅
Yup!
Why would you expect pounds? All of them should be less than a pound in weight. Ounces would be appropriate in imperial.
@@TheEradorbecause I'm not from there😊
@@madamecampsalot6384 nope still obvious that these are lighter than 1 pound. Unless they're made from a particularly dense steel...
Make nine well done, please. LOL :) Thanks for the review.

Breaking news " Kent man eats half cow in the forest " anothger great vlog Andy, thanks😁
Hi Andy can you say what spirit fuel do you use in the trangia and the stove you had today good video
Superb review
Where do you get your meat from? Im guessing a local Kent farm shop as that steak was ginormous! 😮
Fun Fact:
If the steak dont fit in the pan, feel free to cut it in half, then cook the 2 smaller ones instead.
They will both taste the same, i promise!
Is that a BPS knife? Cracking video by the way
how would a picogrill 239 compare to that X fire?
Do you like this better than the Picogrill?
what are these rubber bands called? i can't find them anywhere.
Andy brilliant video that little fire pit is perfect for what I need 🪓🏕️🔥
Which mega beast did you carve that steak off? lol. It was huge!

Andy, whats the size of the cup you use, is it 750ml?
How do you find your camp sites? I'm thinking of giving wild camping a go but really not sure where to start. I'm based in Wiltshire.
I dont see the base for the ul woo stove on the site...where did you get that?
The 14 UL comes with a base as standard 👍
great!...thank you very much@@southcoastoutdoorsuk6301
Do they not ship to the US?
Holy moley, how much did that steak set you back - it's mahooosive

Nice, But there is even a better concept in the States that is flat, but fashions in a “cone” shape. The cone can be adjusted for various sized pots and has a slot for the handles to stick out.
Made out of Titanium and packs flat or wind up just the same.
Forget who makes it, though.
Water is the worst part to carry out of any brew kit.I find it the heaviest item.
Am I mistaken or did you just put the cooked meat on the same chopping board you had the raw meat sitting on? ua-cam.com/video/w9OA58eaVFg/v-deo.html
What, no milk? 😬
I can't understand the name kent survival but it's the survival bit that get me you have have massive steaks whole lambs etc where is the survival in that 😮
gotta hand it to you some of your cooking puts the tv chiefs to shame with there fancy cookers an you using twigs
Almost as good as the stormin normin ones that this is probably based on👍
Steak: it's cooked differently elsewhere

Too expensive!! I'll wait until the chinese copy it for $5
Be careful eating cooked meat on the same utensil you cut up raw meat. Could have an unpleasant outcome.
Nah, we campers like to live dangerously.
Rat teeth man
Tosser 🙄
Did you eat the two 😂
Looks good but £43 is ridiculous, man! Should be about £20
