I've recently came across your channel and I've been binge-watching so many if your videos and I have been super grateful for finding your videos. Okay, the stove is cool, but I totally want to know what tent that is? Also, if I may make a requested recommendation, is in all of your videos if you could always provide list descriptions of all the gear used, that would be amazing and make it so much easier to find what you are using and for us watching to buy them. That stove will totally be a gamechanger! Just refill the hopper at bedtime and you'll be cozy all night and have plenty fire left to make breakfast! No more waking up to a chilly tent!

do people have pellet dispensers out in their woods? I mean wood is find-able in the wild, have not yet watched the video but I do not quite see how you're going to get the fuel.
@@trbry. This is not a backpacking stove anyway, you bring your pellet with you which is $8-10 for 40 lb at the store, you can get wood from the forest and burn that as well. This stove can burns both. If you do hot tent camping, you know what it feels to feed that stove every 1-3 hours depends on the size while really cold outside. I’ve received mine today, quality for the price looks good so far and even if it burns for 6-7hours, I’d be a happy camper.
Probably what would help efficiency is to include one of those fans that runs off the heat of the stove to run the fan. To help circulate the warm air without any power needs.
As a European, this is very much apprecaited, friends. Sadly this company does not ship to the UK. However, I have found a similar design from Naturehike, whose products are improving so I might give it a try. It certainly beats having to prepare and store heaps of wood within your tent; and to get even 6 hours burn would be fantastic.
@@rudycarlson8245 Looking at the design (others seem to have copied it). You see where the pizza (oven) is? That's where the logs go - but then you loose functionality of the oven. I would not think you could or should use both pellets and logs at the same time.
I got 15hrs of burn time my first night using it with hardwood pellets. The next time i tried soft wood pellets and i got about 10hrs with that. Will be testing again next weekend.
I showed my wife your videos. She is not much of a camper but loves the fact that you pray before meals. She is now watching more videos with me. You have helped my family and I to stay on track when praying before eating. I love it! Great videos and a great inspiration! God bless!
My friend uses a wood stove for hot tent camping. I did not like the gases and smoke they produce because it needs to be feed on the hour. Open the door, remove the ashes, add wood and close the door. Nobody sleeps. I then purchased the exact pellet stove and love the controll you have with the flame. You can feed the hopper for 8 hours sleep on low or 6 hours sleep medium heat. Twice the price of a cheap wood stove but well worth making camping so much more fun. Thank you for sharing.
Have you tried burning DIY pellets made from small chopped 🪓 up branches? If they worked, that would be an even bigger game changer. Since you could probably chop up a 5 gallon bucket 🪣 worth in 20 to 30 min. A meat cleaver might work better for chopping than a hatchet. If the diy stick pellets worked. Then you could think up some kind of portable stick chopper. That could chop a couple buckets 🪣 worth in 15 -20 minutes. Also curious if the stove uses a gassifier effect to greatly reduce the amount of smoke coming out the pipe. A good gassifier stove will have less ash & no visible smoke out the pipe once a fire is going.
I haven’t visited your channel for a while. That was a mistake on my part. I struggle with some pretty serious depression, and getting a chance to hang with you is such a treat. When you said the pellets were so cheap…6$ a bag, I did laugh. I’ve been heating my home using a pellet stove for many years. When I first started I could buy a ton of pellets for 150.00$. Today a ton runs me double that. So a 40 pound bag was 3$. Pellet stoves have that bonus of holding a fire. I can load the hopper at eleven and it’s still keeping the house warm ten hours later. Unfortunately pellet stoves rely on electricity and their blowers need to be replaced every few years. Nice video and beautiful dog. I’m subscribing, I appreciate a praying man.
@@papoochacoo when they say home pellet stoves need power theyre not talking about just to distribute air. Most of them have a thermostat and auger motor as well as blower fan for a more efficient burn. They can't heat at all without power as opposed to a wood stove that can obviously burn during an outage
You remind me that 25 years ago I could buy a cord of good larch (Tamarack here in Montana) for $125. I had to split and stack it, though. We had a wood stove that gave us wonderful dry heat for the entire house. These days, it’s double that or more. Occasionally I would be able to get free firewood when a tree fell on our property or if I had to take one down that was diseased or damaged. My wife and I enjoyed the task of splitting 5 cords and stacking it, but now at age 80 we’ve downsized to an all electric home. Still miss the wood stove, though.
It's super easy to get a normal log wood stove to run for 10 hours unattended. I load my log stove once every 24 hours in moderate temps. Once before bed and once before work in abnormally cold weather. Every 8 hours in the worst weather we have ever had. House is 3600 sqft built in 56.
I used to heat my huge old, very old, 2 story farm house using corn in a pellet stove and the heat was unbelievable. This looks like an amazing stove. Thanks for this video!

Me and my daughter went camping two days ago it got down to 18 f but was warm had everything we need but wanted a new stove and since I cook every time we go wanted a oven but I think you sold me on this one and sold other people as well so thank you for all you because it’s a lot of work not counting filming so may God bless you

We have winter camped intense with a heater buddy with a wood burning stove intense and teepees and I know the pain of having to get up every 2 to 3 hours to refill the wood. @@BaumOutdoors You should try to burn some DIY pellets made from broken/chopped up sticks...If that works, then a person could make either a diy portable stick pellet maker. (Already have a few easy to make ideas) Or you could just chop sticks up with a hatchet 🪓 into small pieces. Like chopping up carrots 🥕into slices. I'm guessing you could chop a 5 gallon bucket 🪣 full of diy pellets in 20-30 minutes....If the DIY stick pellets work, it'd be an even bigger game changer. Since it can burn both wood & pellets. So while you're cutting up the bigger wood 🪵 pieces to burn during waking hours. Just chop up a bucket full of diy stick pellets while you're at it.
@@BaumOutdoors How much smoke comes out of the stove pipe? Does it have a gassifier effect. To where no smoke is visible out of the stovepipe once up & burning well. Also as you probably already know. The gassifier is most efficient at producing heat & burning. It probably also creates less ash.
I've always been curious to see how warm an authentic Native American Tipi is in windy-20 temps on the North Dakota prairie.....I imagine with actual buffalo 🦬 skin for the walls & couple layers of buffalo skin rugs on the floor & campfire 🔥 in the center. It was probably pretty warm.

I got one last year its the best thing ever i still bring the big stove with me for the kitchen tent we all set up are tents inside the large army tent and have multiple stove jakes around the sides so everyone can have there own stove and the big one in the middle so everyone can cook all day and night long as needed its amazing doing group winter camps best way to spend a long weekend. Love your videos man you inspired me and few friends to get out and enjoy life.❤
Nice job on your review! I have watched a couple reviews today and the more I watch, the more I like them. I live in a celsius country and we get much colder than 1 degree C ( 33 F)! Getting 10 hours burn time per hoppper of pellets is pretty darn good. Obviously it would be less in colder weather, but if you could get 5-6 between filling the hopper, you still get a decent sleep. I like the adjustability you showed, you can cool it down while you sleep as well. Bad news is, I couldn't find any available in North America right now,

Well all I can say is the stove performs amazing. Between putting logs in every 2 hours, and pellet stove. It's obviously yeah, which of the two won the test. The other thing I really appreciated about this is that you can cook on it and use the oven feature on it. It's obviously a little bit difficult to cook things in the oven, but i'm sure that could be dialed in somehow. Between being cold and being comfortable, I'll vote for this one. Well done my friend.
My first time watching any of your videos. This is some FANCY camping!!! Luxurious!!! I especially love the "sofa" in the tent. This is MY kind of camping........❤
I could see a bit of re-engineering with some bending and welding because of the quality metal they seem to use but a big thing would be a silicone hopper that can double as a storage for the pellets and collapse when not needed. Also a tray/s for the top heating chamber to use the heat and smoke for some wings, ribbs, drumsticks,bread dough etc when high heat is not needed during the night.
Kenny’s enthusiasm is so hilarious and wholesome 😂 Regarding the stove, it would be nice if you could switch from wood to pellets on the fly. I’d burn wood during the day when I’m in and out of the tent and then use the pellets for night so I don’t have to keep feeding the fire. That doesn’t seem to be possible, although maybe I missed it in the video.
I guess it's "just" clearing the space for the pellet basket, removing the plate - although difficult when hot - clip the hopper in and fill it. Possible but I imagine kinda hard when the thing is still hot.
That is incredible....brilliant. What a gamechanger. I love that tent too. If you are one of those folks that has to buy their firewood this is so much cheaper and way more efficient and a whole lot less trouble. I see they also have a water tank steamer attachment too. The price is really not that bad either, considering how awesome it is. It would be nice to be able to throttle it down a bit more but, that might just be the nature of the beast to keep it going.
damn that hopper design is genius! the auto air thing, and the hopper. that really does solve the problem of burn time. i think i'll get me one of these.
My dog does the same when I play with him, like tells you off if you stop too early lol. Things we do for our pets! Such a beautiful animal and loyal companion.

I was looking to get into hot tent camping and the 2-3 hour stoking the fire was a bit unappealing especially during sleep hours, also, sourcing firewood seems like a logistical nightmare. This stove might solve everything for me. Buying pellets is simple from a store, and it stores compact. Set up seems like a chore, but well worth the effort considering you will gain back the time and more when you're sleeping. Great review! I think the only thing I wish I saw was how much ash in the ash tray after a 10 hour burn.

Great channel, super cool oven stove but honestly I can't imagine trying to assemble that in freezing temps trying to get warm. 😮 in the fall or spring for sure in winter no way
I wouldn't want to assemble that stove on a winter camping trip in sub zero temps. There are way too many parts and steps to assemble it. Having to bring your own fuel pellets is another factor to consider.
I think that after assembling and disassembling a couple of times, it'd be fine. I specially like the fact you can use pellets or wood This summer i put lots of branches through my new branch shredder (chipper) and realised that THEY would be a fuel too. Kind of like homemade pellets. They'd work there too !
Hey there, great video and explanation/demonstration of the stove. As an avid all-season camper in Alberta Canada I think I found the stove I’ve been looking for! From ease of use with pellets and not having to stoke overnight and the versatility to use wood if it’s available. Definitely will have to connect with folks Green Stove about this and see how well it’ll work in a hot tent during -20 conditions. Love the looked of this stainless stove! After the first 12 hours of assembly my teens nor I could find the kazmoo that fastened into Mosfart xplier extractor! They hiked back to camp store for pizza. Way too many parts to assemble , detach, clean, pack and remember next year!

This seems so amazing!!! Personally I love the idea of pellets feeding the flame so I can be a bit more hands free That said knowing me I'd be too stubborn to ever buy pellets and I'd add hours to my setup time by spending my evening breaking up sticks
I used to do a lot of hot tent camping in Vegas desert. For those who've never done it, the temp difference from boot height vs top of tiny can be 50° !!! I found this D Cell battery camping hanging fan to drive warm air back down AND IT WORKED AMAZINGLY! Also, chances are you'll need to vent the tent to regulate tent temperature. Yes, it waste fuel but it works well.
Starts at 4:35, remember that. At 4:51, 16 minutes later, he's rubbing his face and beard and is sweating. Time to damper down! I'm dying laughing. Monty is panting. Duck takes a beating with whipped topping. Truly a great, educational, informative video, with a few added laughs to boot!
Kenny, I enjoyed your video, and your enthusiastic presentation. Looks like a very nice setup you have put together, and a wonderful dog for companion too. My friendly suggestion: next time put a small sheet of aluminum foil over your baked food (cookies) to reduce the top burn. Bakers do this with pies to avoid burnt crusts. Also, I would cook a steak on top (cast iron pan and butter) with potato in foil in the oven, and a pizza dough made into a bun/roll/twist in the oven. Happy Trails!

I used to heat my huge old, very old, 2 story farm house using corn in a pellet stove and the heat was unbelievable. This looks like an amazing stove. Thanks for this video!

I’ve seen this used by some of the Asian Campers, content creators but no in depth review. So thank you Kenny for this amazing video. This has sealed it for me and I will be purchasing one although I jusssssst purchased a stove last week 🤦🏾♀️ and kinda if’ey about having to attend to it more so than enjoying my time camping. Me and my daughter went camping two days ago it got down to 18 f but was warm had everything we need but wanted a new stove and since I cook every time we go wanted a oven but I think you sold me on this one and sold other people as well so thank you for all you because it’s a lot of work not counting filming so may God bless you

We have winter camped intense with a heater buddy with a wood burning stove intense and teepees and I know the pain of having to get up every 2 to 3 hours to refill the wood. @@BaumOutdoors You should try to burn some DIY pellets made from broken/chopped up sticks...If that works, then a person could make either a diy portable stick pellet maker. (Already have a few easy to make ideas) Or you could just chop sticks up with a hatchet 🪓 into small pieces. Like chopping up carrots 🥕into slices. I'm guessing you could chop a 5 gallon bucket 🪣 full of diy pellets in 20-30 minutes....If the DIY stick pellets work, it'd be an even bigger game changer. Since it can burn both wood & pellets. So while you're cutting up the bigger wood 🪵 pieces to burn during waking hours. Just chop up a bucket full of diy stick pellets while you're at it.
@@BaumOutdoors How much smoke comes out of the stove pipe? Does it have a gassifier effect. To where no smoke is visible out of the stovepipe once up & burning well. Also as you probably already know. The gassifier is most efficient at producing heat & burning. It probably also creates less ash.
I've always been curious to see how warm an authentic Native American Tipi is in windy-20 temps on the North Dakota prairie.....I imagine with actual buffalo 🦬 skin for the walls & couple layers of buffalo skin rugs on the floor & campfire 🔥 in the center. It was probably pretty warm.

Hi kenny! Nice pellet stove! My brother-in-law has a pellet fireplace and a pellet barbecue. It's so calming to listen to the pellets dropping into the fireplace. Love your tent pellet stove. I got one last year its the best thing ever i still bring the big stove with me for the kitchen tent we all set up are tents inside the large army tent and have multiple stove jakes around the sides so everyone can have there own stove and the big one in the middle so everyone can cook all day and night long as needed its amazing doing group winter camps best way to spend a long weekend. Love your videos man you inspired me and few friends to get out and enjoy life.❤
Nice job on your review! I have watched a couple reviews today and the more I watch, the more I like them. I live in a celsius country and we get much colder than 1 degree C ( 33 F)! Getting 10 hours burn time per hoppper of pellets is pretty darn good. Obviously it would be less in colder weather, but if you could get 5-6 between filling the hopper, you still get a decent sleep. I like the adjustability you showed, you can cool it down while you sleep as well. Bad news is, I couldn't find any available in North America right now,
Im from finland,our truly winter is always -15-25 celsius,not sure if this could handle it,need to find real winter videos

Well all I can say is the stove performs amazing. Between putting logs in every 2 hours, and pellet stove. It's obviously yeah, which of the two won the test. The other thing I really appreciated about this is that you can cook on it and use the oven feature on it. It's obviously a little bit difficult to cook things in the oven, but i'm sure that could be dialed in somehow. Between being cold and being comfortable, I'll vote for this one. Well done my friend.

I could see a bit of re-engineering with some bending and welding because of the quality metal they seem to use but a big thing would be a silicone hopper that can double as a storage for the pellets and collapse when not needed. Also a tray/s for the top heating chamber to use the heat and smoke for some wings, ribbs, drumsticks,bread dough etc when high heat is not needed during the night.

Regarding the stove, it would be nice if you could switch from wood to pellets on the fly. I’d burn wood during the day when I’m in and out of the tent and then use the pellets for night so I don’t have to keep feeding the fire. That doesn’t seem to be possible, although maybe I missed it in the video.
I guess it's "just" clearing the space for the pellet basket, removing the plate - although difficult when hot - clip the hopper in and fill it.
Possible but I imagine kinda hard when the thing is still hot.

That is incredible....brilliant. What a gamechanger. I love that tent too. If you are one of those folks that has to buy their firewood this is so much cheaper and way more efficient and a whole lot less trouble. I see they also have a water tank steamer attachment too. The price is really not that bad either, considering how awesome it is. It would be nice to be able to throttle it down a bit more but, that might just be the nature of the beast to keep it going.
damn that hopper design is genius! the auto air thing, and the hopper. that really does solve the problem of burn time. i think i'll get me one of these.
My dog does the same when I play with him, like tells you off if you stop too early lol. Things we do for our pets! Such a beautiful animal and loyal companion.

I was looking to get into hot tent camping and the 2-3 hour stoking the fire was a bit unappealing especially during sleep hours, also, sourcing firewood seems like a logistical nightmare. This stove might solve everything for me. Buying pellets is simple from a store, and it stores compact. Set up seems like a chore, but well worth the effort considering you will gain back the time and more when you're sleeping. Great review! I think the only thing I wish I saw was how much ash in the ash tray after a 10 hour burn.

I wouldn't want to assemble that stove on a winter camping trip in sub zero temps. There are way too many parts and steps to assemble it. Having to bring your own fuel pellets is another factor to consider.
Really? I thought you pay for the camp site that someone would magically refill it for you whenever it's low? 🤔
I would leave the pellet part preassembled...that way you just have to assemble the exhaust pipe parts. I agree with you...seems a little tedious

This summer i put lots of branches through my new branch shredder (chipper) and realised that THEY would be a fuel too. Kind of like homemade pellets.

Hey there, great video and explanation/demonstration of the stove. As an avid all-season camper in Alberta Canada I think I found the stove I’ve been looking for! From ease of use with pellets and not having to stoke overnight and the versatility to use wood if it’s available. Definitely will have to connect with folks Green Stove about this and see how well it’ll work in a hot tent during -20 conditions. You’ve got a beautiful dog to enjoy the warmth of the stove with and thanks! New sub!
Love the looked of this stainless stove! After the first 12 hours of assembly my teens nor I could find the kazmoo that fastened into Mosfart xplier extractor! They hiked back to camp store for pizza. Way too many parts to assemble , detach, clean, pack and remember next year!

Thank you for the great video and review…I’ve been interested in pellet stoves for awhile…I have all kinds of wood stoves but I always get cold during the night or stay up super late keeping my fires going…in Northern Alberta I will be out camping at -25’C or colder sometimes and I could really use this stove…packing bags of pellets will be worth the comfort 😊

I used to do a lot of hot tent camping in Vegas desert. For those who've never done it, the temp difference from boot height vs top of tiny can be 50° !!!
I found this D Cell battery camping hanging fan to drive warm air back down AND IT WORKED AMAZINGLY!
Also, chances are you'll need to vent the tent to regulate tent temperature. Yes, it waste fuel but it works well.

Kenny, I enjoyed your video, and your enthusiastic presentation. Looks like a very nice setup you have put together, and a wonderful dog for companion too.
My friendly suggestion: next time put a small sheet of aluminum foil over your baked food (cookies) to reduce the top burn. Bakers do this with pies to avoid burnt crusts.
Also, I would cook a steak on top (cast iron pan and butter) with potato in foil in the oven, and a pizza dough made into a bun/roll/twist in the oven.
