Holy shit I threw a like on the video and thought something was broken when this video only had 8 likes. This has the quality of videos with hundreds of thousands. I bet this video will pop off like crazy, but if you keep putting out art like this I'm sure the whole channel will too.
Odd, I have a video in the works that has a long section about perfectionism and competition in the internet age and the poison of it. I do think I was stuck in that mindset of perfectionism around the time I made that video (as Trackmania functions very similar to speedrunning as a general process and as a community), and I agree that personal improvement is a much better focus. I quite enjoyed the video, I'm looking forward to see what you make in the future. Also, you may wanna focus on sound balancing a little more, as well as a slight focus towards the length of time between two voice lines for pacing, if you're looking for some constructive criticism. thanks for the feedback! a lot of the voiceover was recorded a long time ago so i'm much better at the whole thing now, but i'll have to pay some more attention to that pacing idea. looking forward to that video though👀 as much as i love my segues the way you bounce between different topics, set up a bunch of threads and tie them together later has always been captivating
its easier than you'd think! and very fun. the circletoons video i linked in the description goes over it in more detail but there are games like neon white, ghostrunner or toree 2 that give you some nice short bursts of speedrunning fun without having to invest much time and effort
