I'm honestly surprised you didn't mention The End is Nigh at all. It's the true spiritual successor to Super Meat Boy by Edmund McMillen himself and came out in 2017. Ed himself thinks it's criminally overlooked and one of his best games.
I've got a feeling that they came up with the title for Dr Fetus's Mean Meat Machine and they made it under the pretense that "we wanna make a game with this title cause it's a funny reference" and nothing more

You should try The End Is Nigh. It's not a sequel but it was made by the same dude and while its certainly a different vibe, its certainly more faithful than Super Meatboy Forever
And Isaac is like her VERY RICH brother while Gish and Ash are the siblings that where locked up in the basement for 20 years since childhood like that one simpsons episode…
The original Super Meat Boy should genuinely be considered an absolute classic by now. I played it sooooo much on a crappy laptop with no controller as a kid, and I still get its music stuck in my head from time to time. I hope the series makes a _real_ comeback someday, because it deserves a spot on the pantheon of platformers.
It's basically them saying "hey guys hey look remember this funny moment? Nostalgia, wow so cool right" It's sad and pathetic. And btw they do the same thing over and over again throughout the game. They bring back the Poop (meat boy) guy. And Dr foetus throws the middle finger twice as much. They killed his running gag.
@@DethHead28 Call backs dont equal soulless nostalgia bait though? It sounds like you were preconditioned to hate this game going in so everything it did pissed you off
@@CultofHappwer no not me but the game is objectively bad because it was preconditioned to suck bawls. Call backs are cool just don't turn them into a subplot yn.
33:38 one fun fact about Mewgenics is, that it originally started as a Team Meat project and may even have been responsible for Forever taking so long. McMillen eventually secured the rights in 2018 and continued development with Tyler Glaiel with whom he had previously worked on The End is Nigh.
Ed: "Makes a randomly generated game." Tommy: "Makes a randomly generated Super Meat Boy sequel." Ed: "Has Ridiculon as the main composer of same game" Tommy: "Has Ridiculon as the main composer of the sequel" Ed: "Makes a spin-off that experiments with a different genre." Tommy: "Makes a spin-off that experiments with a different genre." Something tells me Tommy has not taken Ed's departure super well.
Ridiculon have worked on Meat Boy before. They did the music for the 2015 soundtrack. Plus, making a spinoff in a different genre happens, like, all the time?
@@jedisalsohere It's the timing, they're always doing the same thing just one step behind Edmund. Really feels like they're just chasing his coattails. Now obviously that's not empirical evidence, it's just the vibe a lot of people get.
Yeah I'm just making a cheeky comment, who really knows if Tommy is having Team Meat write notes on whatever Ed is doing. Guess we'll see if Meat boy suddenly turns into an isometric tatic game, because they've apparently won't be making any more platformers with the IP.
But that may or may not come out in a very long time. But a man can dream.... ...Using Trello and just yapping about SMBF Chapter titles had it not stray into an autoscroller.
the biggest misconception surrounding Forever is that it's a mobile autorunner. It's not :) The levels consist of _hand-crafted_ segments, which are put in random order (for each save). The levels are just like in the original game, and there also exists worlds and dark levels for each world, and the whole thing plays like a story campaign with bosses included. The only thing is that Meat Boy auto-runs to the right so you can't control his movement, but the levels fully embrace this and are ingeniously crafted around that. The marketing for this game seems to have been lacking and the word-of-mouth wasn't positive, so a lot of people have a negative thoughts about Forever without even trying it -- including me, before I got it for cheap and had the blast of my life :)
Its a real shame for super meatboy forever, if only they kept they the original mechanic from the first game and make you run around and kept the punching and sliding mechanic and the level design was like the original game, maybe it could have been at least decent
but the auto runner gameplay isn't even really that bad, I've played all of the first world and some dark levels and it's pretty fun it just loses everything with the automatic level generation that takes away everything good
Honestly, considering that it's an auto runner, shouldn't there be moves where u can get to manipulate on where you will go and being able to stop and slow down? Maybe if moves like those exist in that Forever game besides "A" and down button, the game would probably be liked more like super meat boy.
@@iconica9516 Heres the thing. Unless Meat Boy series is a Autosvroller game in the first place that would be fine. But it's not. It's already established that the series is a 2D hardcore platformer game not an autoscroller. @@redactedgamersgd1788 counter point, mario 64, galaxy 1 and 2, and odyssey these are all 3D versions of a usual 2D platformer game that are loved by many they changed the formula and people love them they don't love SMBF not because it's an auto runner, but because they did it wrong auto generated levels made some levels feel jank and weird, it just lacked so much charm in the actual gameplay that made the auto runner idea feel like the main cause, when it was just poor game design like I said before, I've played SMBF and I enjoyed it almost as much as base SMB, it just lacked the care that regular SMB had in its level design that made it lack in some parts of game design levels end up being very unfun and feel impossible, the bandages end up being more of a chore instead of a challenge, ans it just sucks
@@iconica9516 the auto level generation isn't truly random. They consist of hand-crafted segments that are put in random order, so you can re-experience the game in a "fresh" manner. That's why the level design still is so amazing in Forever -- it's not procedurally generated, it's all carefully designed ;)
additional note: while meat boy forever was indeed in a timed exclusive deal with epic games, it still released on switch at the same day as it did on epic, likely because it was featured in an indie world direct. playstation, xbox, and especially steam still had to wait an entire year
apart from the art style, Forever is a worthy sequel if you embrace the new control scheme. It's NOT a traditional auto-runner, which the marketing had you and me believe. Meat Boy auto-runs to the right yes, but the game consists of actual levels, worlds, bosses and characters and secrets, and tons of stuff, and it's super hard and challenging, and rewarding :) the levels consist of hand-crafted segments, but their order is random, that is all. Try it out next time it goes on sale for $1, you won't regret it :)
Honestly, I think Mean Meat Machine was made because someone thought of the title and then based the game around it which tied it to Puyo Puyo and to try and make it unique they threw in obstacles.
I really thought they were teasing a Dr. Fetus boomer shooter but I guess Puyo Puyo was what they really needed to recapture their hardcore indie platformer audience.
I remember playing the demo at pax 2014 I was so excited and when Tommy handed me that IPad,then I was so disappointed, but he was right next to be watching me play so I just said I loved it. That’s a core memory for 14 year old me.
I still have no clue why they invested nearly 10 years into SMBF’s development. The premise of a Meat Boy mobile auto-runner spin-off was reasonable in 2013, but to grind that concept out into the mainline sequel is bizarre. I have a bad feeling Meat Boy’s future is going to look like a bunch of spin-offs under the guise of continuity.
It’s like megamind vs the doom syndicate. Unessecary sequel that we wanted, but quickly regretted once we got it, and they hyped it up because they all thought that’s what we wanted.
once you realize that Forever is NOT your traditional mobile auto-runner, but an actuall full-fledged game with levels and worlds and bosses and extra, and that the level design _is_ hand-crafted and super witty and hard and rewarding (only the order of segments is random), you'll realize it's worthy of being a sequel (but the art style isn't the best 😅).
@@zainmushtaq4347 No I don't think you understand, it was literally made as a mobile game but was then instead released on Console & PC--it's like Sonic 4 all over again Also the art style is great
As a Puyo person, the most baffling thing about Meat Machine is that there's no versus mode. Maybe if your frame of reference for puzzle games is Bejeweled and single player Tetris this might not register right away, but Puyo is primarily a competitive game. Meat Machine is exactly equivalent to releasing a Street Fighter game with only a single player arcade mode.
thing is, they FULLY embrace those new controls and the level design is geniusly crafted around them, and it's such a satisfying experience once you get to try it. Have not enjoyed a game so intensely in a looong time, and I was a die-hard original Super Meat Boy fan :)

The original Super Meat Boy is legitimately one of my favorite games of all time for its precise controls, its great level design and that INCREDIBLE soundtrack. Forever has NONE of those things, it's Meat Boy in name only. It's a shame that, with Edmund and Danny B gone, we'll probably never get that real Meat Boy sequel.
apart from the new soundtrack, Forever has AMAZING level design. I was blown away by how witty, how genius and how super hard and yet super rewarding the _whole_ game was. I used to be like you, utterly hating on Forever as a die-hard SMB fan, but once I got to try out forever for cheap on my switch, 30 hours went by just like that in a month and I had a blast completing the main game. There are actual levels in forever, and they consist of hand-crafted segments, but they're in random order is all. And Meat Boy auto-running to the right is fully embraced and the level design is carefully crafted to leverage that and introduce new elements that make it an intense experience. Up for the challenge? ;)
Super Meat Boy is still one of my favorite 2D platforms ever. It’s truly sad it never got the sequel it deserved. Even though my controller and my nerves will hate if it’s similar, but in the end it would be worth it. My favorite part still is the music. Especially themes like Battle of Lil Slugger, Salt Factory or C.H.A.Ds Lullaby.
i used to think the same and utterly hated Forever in every way, UNTIL i grabbed it for $2 on the eshop, and it was the MOST ENJOYABLE gaming experience i had in years. The game was nothing like what I thought an "auto-runner" would be, and that's because it really isn't a mobile auto-runner. There are actual levels, worlds, and levels consist of hand-crafted, wittily designed segments (that are in random order), and Meat Boy auto-runs to right. But that mechanism is fully embraced and everything is designed around it for fast-paced action-packed hair-pulling super challenging and super rewarding experience. Go give it a try next time it's on sale for $1-2, and I promise your controllers will fear for their lives ;)
“grandparents?” all of those games are from the 2010s lmao Spelunky (2008), Braid (2008), cave story (2004), N+ 2005), Alien Hominid (2002), Shantae(1998), there were so many indie platformers that came out before those. The Shantae devs even went on to found Yacht Club.
The End is Nigh is really the true perfect spiritual sequel to Super Meat Boy. SMBF was a huge letdown, but honestly, TEIN is my favorite platformer *ever*, even over the original SMB- It’s criminally underrated and I hope it gets more attention in the future.
honestly i would pay good money to have the og super meat boy in the meat boy forever artstyle... like seriously its adorable. also meat boy is a boy with no skin, not a block of meat, so he actually is just a living wound that has a girlfriend which is a bandage. that idea is ridiculously wholesome when keeping in mind they have each other... sorry i have to touch on that... thats honestly my favorite thing about meat boy good video!❤
Meat boy still has potential to be popular again grahhhhh!!!!! Hopefully they lock in gameplay wise in a next one cause forever did the warp zones and animations perfectly!!!!
To explain the art at 26:32 , The reason Fetus’s right hand has 5 fingers is most likely because the hand was traced from Fetus art that existed in the original Super Meatboy.
i was under the same impression, until i finally got to _try_ Forever. It's NOT a mobile auto-runner. There are actual levels, worlds, bosses, and even characters. The levels consist of _hand-crafted_ segments, and the only thing is that the _order_ of those segments is random (for each save), and that Meat Boy auto-runs to the right, but that mechanism is fully embraced and the level design is geniusly crafted around it 😇 give it a try next time it goes on sale for $1 :)
I got it free on the epic games store, and assumed it was a remake/definitive edition. I never played the original, so I figured this was worth a go. I literally couldn't get past the first level. Level one. Slamming into saws over and over and over and over. It's not really an endless runner - it's a platformer that they inexplicably decided should have awful controls. Truly one of the worst gaming experiences I've had.
21:23 Im glad you mentioned the difficulty because the deathless achievements in Forever are just not fun. The last worlds especially are clunky and confusing lol. SMB deathless is much more rewarding of skill and determination
Dr Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine is such an obscure reference to make, no one under the age of 25 is even gunna get that and that's only cause they released it as part of a Sonic collection for the PS2, otherwise that age jumps up to to 35-40. They shoulda just ripped off Candy Crush instead tbh.
As someone who has participated in the community since 2018 and been creating custom levels for Super Meat Boy, I agree with some points. The one thing that I usually hear when talking to other people about Super Meat Boy is that nobody has made a proper sequel or at least a proper spiritual successor to the actual game (I mean this in gameplay). I know that TEIN exists, but we're talking 1:1 or pretty close to 1:1. The closest I've been able to suggest in terms of more Super Meat Boy is custom levels, but that only goes so far and usually can't improve on core mechanics to provide a better experience. There is a mod that's being worked on called "Super Meat Boy: Revamped", which I hope will bring more people into the game and hopefully into the modding/level editing scene. While Super Meat Boy is an excellent game, it has some issues that need fixing. The game can be very buggy at times and some levels like in Dark Cotton Alley aren't very fun to play. However, in terms of Super Meat Boy Forever. Super Meat Boy Forever isn't exactly the sequel I would like from a Super Meat Boy game. While yes, they can technically do whatever they want with it, it's such a stark difference from its predecessor that if it were to actually improve on anything, that it still wouldn't matter very much. The fact that it's so divergent will alienate people who played the original. I wouldn't say that Super Meat Boy Forever is exactly a bad game, in fact, I'd say it's okay. There's some things that I didn't like about it, but somethings that I did. I'll list off some of things that weren't already said in the video or that I disagree with. But most of it is positive stuff. Some of the references in the level names are cool, "Didn't Wet The Sponge" or "V Will Come" are very cool, even if it's something very minor. Some of the gimmicks can be very interesting if used correctly. I haven't played the game in ages, but I'm sure there was a level where if you jumped, you'd be running on the ceiling instead. Kind of like VVVVVV. Dark Tetanus was one of the best chapters in the entire game, it was probably the only thing I played more than once that wasn't required for completion. The crates are super satisfying to use too. Something that I did notice is that you never actually mentioned Tofu Boy in Meat Boy Forever. While I never played as him or got that far, I do know that he's the only character in the game who has different statistics, even if they don't help you very much. While I didn't experiment with the level editor in Forever as much as the Super Meat Boy one, I appreciate that everything is available to use instead of having it restricted to a certain palette. The Dark World levels are visually interesting. Instead of having a silhouette every two levels, you can now have a noir level or a gradient level. While you could technically go and do this kind of stuff in the original Super Meat Boy, it was never done officially in game and it wasn't to this scale. Mean Meat Machine though, is pretty bad in my opinion, and is something I wouldn't want to play again. The fact that you are punished really hard for something that would've been better if you just lost that puyo is actually infuriating. I only went up to the Hospital before calling it quits. I got bored and it was just... not very good. I love Puyo Puyo, I like puzzle games, but Mean Meat Machine isn't it. IMO, this is my least favorite Meat Boy game, excluding Tofu Boy. I probably screwed up somewhere along these lines, maybe I said something that I shouldn't have or have messed up what I should've said. I just wanted to get my thoughts out on this subject.
30:15 Showing 100% achievement in that game not instantly uninstalled after it unlike Pizza Tower showing 100% achievement with BLUE Install button is very beyond absord for me.
There is not much to do in Pizza Tower after beating the game once and this is instant-uninstall moment after 100% too, but damn, the fact that he bought mean meat machine for real money...
The funniest part of when you were comparing Puyo Puyo to Tetris was the fact that you were playing Puyo Puyo in PuyoPuyo Tetris, a game that comes with Tetris, but you use Tetris footage from a flash game
Weirdly enough, I don't think the new games are even really Meat Boy games. They're Dr Fetus games. Meat Boy Mcmillun left the scene, and Dr Fetus is cobbling together the scraps.
Super Meat Boy was a much bigger hit than The Binding Of Isaac out of the gate, it launched Ed's career, but BOI just kept growing and building a bigger fanbase and never stopped and eventually surpassed Meat Boy. Super Meat Boy is what I consider the turning point in indie games where the quality and quantity just started skyrocketing. It's definitely a legendary game for really sparking the indie game surge that continues to this day as AAA games flounder and beg to be taken behind the woodshed and put out of their misery.
i know alot of people have said this but you should really try his spiritual successor the end is nigh, its clear that you have heard of it but IMO its probably one of the best designed platformers I've ever played, admitidelty there are no alternate characters like SMB but its still really fun, the music is amazing and as simple as the story its interesting too see and try and figure out what it means... although most of the community for The end is nigh already knows...
I remember some guy online who I guess has some vendetta against Edmund because he calls all of Edmund’s games as awful. Saying the End is Nigh and Isaac Repentance as trash games but saying Super Meat Boy Forever as one of the best games ever made. He was so glad Edmund has no involvement with Super Meat Boy Forever.
Funniest thing is that Forever took like FOUR YEARS after its initial release before it was even available on mobile. The device it was originally designed for.
@@sixty5notch796I mean just a direct sequel to the original game with the same idea except using 3d models would look cool maybe if it’s 3d models made to look 2d
This video seems incredibly disrespectful. Super Meat Boy was itself a celebration of the first wave of indies at the time. You look at games like Runman, Mighty Jill Off, Machinarium, Braid, Super Meat Boy was less interested in referencing old NES games and more about bringing attention to the 'icons' of its era. Meanwhile, modern indies don't have that sort of camaraderie. At best you see Vampire Survivors collaborating with Among Us, or an indie publisher marketing all its characters at once. Nothing on par with SMB letting you swap out movesets entirely even if it breaks the game. I think the only exception to this would be Inti Creates and their DLC characters.
Thank you for pointing this out, you can tell he doesn’t care just by hearing his voice. That’s why I barely watch this dude anymore because he doesn’t know about the stuff he’s taking about, I agree with SOME of his opinions but throughout his review of the first game he completely misunderstood it, im someone who actually grew up with the first indie boom of games and I found it his review of super meat boy incredibly disrespectful, he only cares about modern indie games which will never recreate the charm that old indies used to have.
5:28 But wait, I thought band-aid became a generic term? A generic term is when a company loses the trademark because it became known to represent the entire product rather than the specific brand, in this case everyone says band-aid instead of bandage. And you would think for generic terms you don't need permission to use them? But then I googled it more, and trademarks apply differently to different countries (some countries may count it as a generic term, some may count it as trademarked), so maybe it's not possible to easily sell the game on an online storefront worldwide.
I played both of the meatboy games and I am really confused by the autorunner implemation in the sequal. The original was focused on your creativity with the slipery movement you got and thats just gone in the sequal. I still liked some of the boss fights, but I was lack luster in the grand scheme of things becasue the levels felt bland after a while. Since they had a lot of reused things from other levels.
i have to politely disagree. Each world introduced a new element and got progressively harder, while also being beatable enough for a satisfying reward experience. And the new control mechanism in Forever were fully embraced in the level design and gameplay, so while they were different from SMB, they still offer depth of their own. Forever is just more fast-paced bc of that, and that may not be your taste if you liked the slowness and careful platforming of the original game, and that's okay. To me, the fast-paced nature better suited my taste :)
Hey, glad you’re back Foekoe! But yeah… what happened to Super Meat Boy’s legacy is tragic… from Edmund or Danny B not being involved. The first initial game was fantastic… the ost, the gameplay, everything about it screamed personality… then he left the team and the rights and all hope was lost. So will Super Meat Boy make a come back…? It’s less likely now… but we can only hope.
the auto-running took some time getting used to, but once i embraced it, it was a fantastic experience. As someone who hates precision in platforming, the auto-running guaranteed that i got the same results each time, making the game slightly easier to control, but with the level design fully embracing the new controls and still offering an intense gaming experience that was super satisfying once i beat it :)
I LOVED the original Super Meat Boy and I played it to completion (as well as most of the Bandage Girl levels) but when I saw Super Meat Boy Forever it just kind of made me sad in the same way that Subnautica Below Zero made me sad because the original is so good (except it wasn’t as bad with SMB bc Subnautica is literally my favorite game ever while Super Meat Boy is just a fun indie game I enjoy)
i used to think the exact same as you, having grown up with Super Meat Boy and wanting to defend it at every chance. But then it went on sale for $2 last year on the eshop, and I caved in just for fun, and the game turned out to be the best gaming experience I've had in years. The art style isn't my style, and the auto-running got a bit getting used to, but once I got into the groove, it was the most rewarding 30 hours in a long time last summer :)
I remember playing Super Meatboy went it first cam out on the xbox 360 , i was 5 at the time and i really loved it, I still remember how i raged at a lot of the levels that it had ,now a days i still think of it and seen videos about it here and their but I had no idea that it release 2 more game that were mixed in reviews, it is pretty sad to see the Meatboy franchise like this i still think it has a lot of potential for a second (not counting forever since it was originally a mobile game) Meatboy game to work.
pls give Forever a try. It's still a super hard game, just more fast-paced and slightly different in controls. There are actual levels, worlds, secrets, characters to unlock, boss fights, a story, etc. Nothing like traditional mobile auto-runners, which I also thought for years until I finally got to try the game. The great thing about Forever is that since Meat Boy is always auto-running to the right, once you die, you instantly respawn and start running automatically, so the action is non-stop and super rewarding once you finally beat a level :D
The sign is a subtle joke. The shop is called "Sneed's Feed & Seed", where feed and seed both end in the sound "-eed", thus rhyming with the name of the owner, Sneed. The sign says that the shop was "Formerly Chuck's", So, when Chuck owned the shop, it would have been called "Chuck's Feed and Seed" which makes for a poor store name.
People need to stop shitting on the current team because "THEY STOLE MEAT BOY FROM EDMUND!!!!" Edmund chose to leave knowing he'd lose the rights to Meat Boy, this is not a Skullgirls situation. If you truly care about Edmund, you shouldn't be using him as an excuse to harass people that did nothing wrong other than making games you dislike.
Tbh I kinda like Forever. Yeah, it's got a ton of issues, very little soul and it's certainly no masterpiece like the original, but I still had fun playing it through and through and feel its well worth the cost considering it often goes for 90% off on steam for a couple bucks. The real SMB sequel is still truly The End is Nigh though.
as a former die-hard SMB fan that utterly hated Forever bc of ppl saying it was a mobile auto-runner, once I got it for $1-2 on eshop last year, I can honestly say I've not this much fun in YEARS in gaming. I dare even say that it was _more_ fun that the original SMB, just bc I love fast-paced games, and the level design in Forever was soo satisfying, challening, witty and rewarding and perfect for playing handheld on the switch. I also got to try Celeste before that having heard a lot of great stuff about it, but it just didn't click with me.
Super Meat Boy was one of my favorite game when I was younger, I even remember crying when I actually managed to beat it. It's kinda sad what ended up happening to it.
try out Forever, trust me, you'll continue crying at how hard it is (and jump out of pure joy once you beat a level :D). Might not be your style since it's more fast-paced and a bit different control scheme, but the spirit of difficulty and hard platforming is all there, just in a slightly different package, but the game is super satisfying (i'm saying this as someone who initially hated forever as a die-hard SMB fan).

I played it sooooo much on a crappy laptop with no controller as a kid, and I still get its music stuck in my head from time to time. I hope the series makes a _real_ comeback someday, because it deserves a spot on the pantheon of platformers.
The squirrel is literally just a short gag in the first game that gets reused and made into a whole damn subplot in Forever for absolutely no reason.
It's basically them saying "hey guys hey look remember this funny moment? Nostalgia, wow so cool right"

an actual sequel with the forever artstyle and hand-made levels would go hard, but oh well, good video!

Its a real shame for super meatboy forever, if only they kept they the original mechanic from the first game and make you run around and kept the punching and sliding mechanic and the level design was like the original game, maybe it could have been at least decent
but the auto runner gameplay isn't even really that bad, I've played all of the first world and some dark levels and it's pretty fun
it just loses everything with the automatic level generation that takes away everything good
Honestly, considering that it's an auto runner, shouldn't there be moves where u can get to manipulate on where you will go and being able to stop and slow down? Maybe if moves like those exist in that Forever game besides "A" and down button, the game would probably be liked more like super meat boy.
@@iconica9516 Heres the thing. Unless Meat Boy series is a Autosvroller game in the first place that would be fine.

auto generated levels made some levels feel jank and weird, it just lacked so much charm in the actual gameplay that made the auto runner idea feel like the main cause, when it was just poor game design
like I said before, I've played SMBF and I enjoyed it almost as much as base SMB, it just lacked the care that regular SMB had in its level design that made it lack in some parts of game design

I mean, people play Puyo Puyo. It's the exact same game as Mean Bean. So folks might recognize it as that.
31:45 When I think of meat boy, I just think of those crazy runners at GDQ jumping around all those saw blades lol
I just wanted to get my thoughts out on this subject.
hurts my soul to see "Outer wilds" in the list of backlog games, you should definitely platy it. Also love the vid :)

The great thing about Forever is that since Meat Boy is always auto-running to the right, once you die, you instantly respawn and start running automatically, so the action is non-stop and super rewarding once you finally beat a level :D
11:42 Oh cmon IWBTG is not that bad
I second this.
3:51. . .that is. . .deeply disturbing, i uh wish you the best Foekoe!
6:43 whats the joke here? Uterus? Or is it a reference to something im unaware of
Leaving a comment so I’m notified what the joke is
The sign is a subtle joke. The shop is called "Sneed's Feed & Seed", where feed and seed both end in the sound "-eed", thus rhyming with the name of the owner, Sneed. The sign says that the shop was "Formerly Chuck's", So, when Chuck owned the shop, it would have been called "Chuck's Feed and Seed" which makes for a poor store name.
i remember how the Kongregate version of Meat Boy had to remove the Hot Coffee reward with a big ole "censored" bar
Hi Tommy!
@@Giffsenfuck off and stop harassing people. waaa they made a game you don't like. that seems way worse than doxxing and threatening violence.
@@Giffsen proving my point
I love your long form videos so much dude
Finally Foekoe uploaded! 🎉 Thank you for putting your time and effort into this video! ❤
I forgot this guy exist
Yeah he's kinda mid

SUPER MEEEAAAATTT BOOOOOYYYYYY 🗣️🗣️🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯💯
Super Meat Boy was one of my favorite game when I was younger, I even remember crying when I actually managed to beat it. It's kinda sad what ended up happening to it.
try out Forever, trust me, you'll continue crying at how hard it is (and jump out of pure joy once you beat a level :D). Might not be your style since it's more fast-paced and a bit different control scheme, but the spirit of difficulty and hard platforming is all there, just in a slightly different package, but the game is super satisfying (i'm saying this as someone who initially hated forever as a die-hard SMB fan).
what if super meat boy was called super freaky boy, and instead of doing platforming gameplay it was replaced with getting freaky ‼‼
