WOW! Love the sound! Trying to get my 2015 Challenger to sound like that (the old school sound). You said no headers or cats, anything else done to the exhaust?
Stock exhaust manifold. Catless midpipes. Xpipe. And bullet mufflers on the back. Also no resonator or stock mid muffler (suitcase muffler) and I appreciate that!
Didn't touch the transmission, but never had an issue with it. The vehicle as a whole was a money pit of issues. But I chalk that up to it being Mopar and not the cam itself. Driveability is fine as long as you tune it well.
Yes. Always do lifters when doing the cam on a 392. Upgrade to hellcat lifters so you don't have to worry about lifter failure in the future (hemi tick). 0-60 didn't really change much as this was a high rpm cam. So helped in the top end. 0-60 was about 4.3.
This was straight pipe. But had bullet mufflers on the back (small mufflers). It was a stage 3 cam from comp cams. The NA one on modern muscle extreme.
It runs great to be honest. Sounds nasty. Just understand if you're running a cam, you'll more than likely run it without cats. And those fumes can be a little much at times.
I have some work already done cat delete borla exhaust and some other small bolt ons I wanna do headers and cam next that’s why I was asking it was built from srt auto works for what is it has it’s fast but how much whp you think you gained?
@@jeepsrtslw I've yet to Dyno since adding the cam. But I'm guessing between 30-50hp. I honestly have no idea. This cam is for higher rpms. So more mid-top end power. Although I do feel like I launch harder. I never used to spin stock. Now I definitely spin sometimes depending on the temp. I wanted to do headers, but I've discovered that they are a PAIN to put in these jeeps. There is no room to work with. And they only add about 15..maybe 20hp max. Wasn't worth the $1600 for the headers and probably $1000 more for the install. But if you got it like that, go for it. I wish these damn pistons weren't so fragile so I could run a 100 shot of nitrous or throw on a supercharger without forging 🤦🏾♂️
I appreciate it man. It does sound great. But if I'm being honest, if I could do it all over again, I would have went a different route. Probably forged Pistons and a blower or nitrous. There's no denying that's where you'll get the big power. Cam will get you maybe 50 HP tops.
@@Allthingsconsidered11 Oh man I would live to do forged pistons and rods so I could run a blower too but just can't afford that now. Yeah the cam doesn't add a ton of power for the money spent especially when paying someone to install and tune it.
@@boostedfiveoh well good news, you only really need to forge the Pistons if you aren't going to high in HP. The rods are good for 700hp. It's the Pistons that are crap. But if you are set on a cam, it doesn't disappoint. The sound of the idle is unmatched.

Hey mate, awesome sounding rig 👌 what is the cam specs?
Can't remember the exact specs. But it was a 274 stage 3 comp camp from mmx.
How's the drivability of the car? And ehat about reliability? Any upgrades done to the transmission?
Didn't touch the transmission, but never had an issue with it. The vehicle as a whole was a money pit of issues. But I chalk that up to it being Mopar and not the cam itself. Driveability is fine as long as you tune it well.
Sounds bloody tuff. What's your 0-60 time? Also when you done the cam, did you do lifters?

I have a 6.4. want to upgrade to these cams from stock. Can you please recommend where do I purchase it from?
What oil catch can did you install?
I believe it was billet. Can't quite remember.
Can i ask where you got the cam from? By far this is my favorite sounding one
Of course! I got it from modernmuscleextreme.com
@@Allthingsconsidered11 NSR stage 3 lope?
@@revo97yes, NA stage 3 . Sorry I took so long. Didn't get a notification for the comment.
Link is no good anymore
Love it! New Sub here!
Thanks! I appreciate that!
@@Allthingsconsidered11 Np at all!
So this is stock everything, straight pipe and stage 3 cams? I just want the sound lol which cams would ya recommend.

How does it run bro? I’ve been wanting to get a 270 comp cam but wondering if it’s worth it or not

Cam specs?? Chops percent my dawg!
How much who did you gain
Not much. Would have forged and gone blower if I did it all over again
Sounds great man! I want to swap my cam out
