@alwaysdriven i agree i had 6.4 charger i thought it was muffler deleted when i bought it cause shit was loud like shake your body loud when next to it. Muffler delete with dynomax was pretty good but still loud af.
I only put borla s types on my vehicles, but back in the day all i knew was Flowmaster. I could be wrong but the flowmaster flow fx's are the savior of that company and they sound awesome.
This happened to me with my Mustang. I had a H pipe and muffler delete at first, pretty much straight. I start my car before 5 in the morning in a packed neighborhood and I never wanted to be "that neighbor". So I bought active X Force mufflers and I couldn't be happier. Valves closed, it's more quiet than a full stock exhaust. Vales open, 130+dB. Best of both worlds. That straight pipe was so mean though on this SRT. Mufflers did a good job setting his goal.
Dam u just described my exact situation rn on my 2015 mustang. H pipe , muffler delete. I go in to work anywhere between midnight and 3 am smh, that cold start is brutal. Neighbor put note on my windshield asking is there anything I can do bc im waking up her kids n shit. That exhaust u have now is very expensive right?.
Personally what I would do is install electric exhaust cut-outs so I could have it quiet when I wanted it quiet, and when I want it nasty, just hit a button and let it be nasty.
Yeah I have a NAP valve controlled on mine. With closed valves you can still hear the V8 bubbling but not too loud so the neighbours don’t want to kill me in the morning. When it is open omfg like a beast unleashed :D
I have a single-inlet/dual-outlet FlowFX on my 5.7 Hemi Ram. I love the sound better than the MagnaFlow I had on it before. That 6.4 Jeep sounds awesome.
Sounds loud and much cleaner with flow masters, some sort of Borla on ours not nearly as loud as flow masters but sounds nice when you want to be loud and is perfect cruising with the family. Love the 6.4...2021 SRT!
After... It Sounds amazing. I have the same problem. I have a Ram 2500 with a 6.4, and all I am missing in my build is the headers. I want the power, but I am a 40-year-old family guy., so I do not want the noise. I ended up using a high flow MBRP, but left cats and the stock resonator on. The sound is perfect, but I am going to lose it once I put the headers on. =[
ya i straight piped my 5.7 300S couple yrs ago, it was loud AF! hurt your ears.. so put bottle resonators on the back, bingo! prefect. this sounds good though, might try those Flow FX sometime ☮
Sounds good straight piped my 14’ charger rt is catless with mid muff and res delete and honestly i love it except around 2k rpm accelerating drone sucks
I've heard the Flow FX sound better on other vehicles, but that straight pipe had to be annoying after a while, so he had to do something. I would've liked to have heard some Black Widow Widowmaker 10s on there, but on the take-off, it did sound pretty decent...!
Dude I love this channel and everything here but you have to stop editing like that when you’re underneath the car it fucks with my head for some reason love the vids happy late thanksgiving
Just me I guess, but why spend money on a nice performance V8 and then put mid level quality Chinese mufflers on it? I am just a not a fan of any Flowmaster muffler. I had them for a very short time on my 2004 Ram HEMI in 2005. I think lasted two weeks before I changed out. Looked at a 2013 Ram HEMI that the dealership had modified with a Flowmaster exhaust. They started it for me to test drive and I hated it from the get go just because of that. Bought another Ram because of the sound.
@@MikeJohnson-ej4oc and very clean for that kinda mileage. I’m sure it’s just me and what I hear when you combine a Flowmaster and a HEMI. But my opinion means nothing. It’s your ride. As long as you are happy, nothing else matters.
Breakdown of why I watch Exhaust Addicts:
10% loud cars
90% cameraman’s positive energy
Driver of Jeep really didn’t think a straight piped v8 wouldn’t be obnoxious?
Lol
See what had happened was 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Man the 6.4 is way too raspy to straight pipe. It needs a borla system at least
@alwaysdriven i agree i had 6.4 charger i thought it was muffler deleted when i bought it cause shit was loud like shake your body loud when next to it. Muffler delete with dynomax was pretty good but still loud af.
And if he isn't tuned, when the MDS kicked in, it probably drove him absolutely nuts!😂
thought it was quiet but it sounded way louder than i thought when he got on it. Its perfect honestly
The sound with the Mufflers is just perfect. Just a nice and deep tone
Sounds a lot cleaner than before which is nice 👌
Straight pipes for me.
I only put borla s types on my vehicles, but back in the day all i knew was Flowmaster. I could be wrong but the flowmaster flow fx's are the savior of that company and they sound awesome.

I paid upwards of $1300 for my active valve mufflers, yeah. The X-Force Varex axelback.@@mikeg6958
I like both. But the FX gave it the deep throaty sounds! Love it!
Personally what I would do is install electric exhaust cut-outs so I could have it quiet when I wanted it quiet, and when I want it nasty, just hit a button and let it be nasty.

Any vids on it? I wanna do this.
I have a single-inlet/dual-outlet FlowFX on my 5.7 Hemi Ram. I love the sound better than the MagnaFlow I had on it before. That 6.4 Jeep sounds awesome.
The straight pipe was mad 🔥
Both sounds are good.
Love it! 👍🏼
Nice work! 😎🔨👊🏻 Sounds much better.
I like Flowmaster Flow FX's. Has more tone. I'm a fine of tone.
Sounds loud and much cleaner with flow masters, some sort of Borla on ours not nearly as loud as flow masters but sounds nice when you want to be loud and is perfect cruising with the family. Love the 6.4...2021 SRT!
They both sound good but the straight pipe was better.
Sounds good. Shouldn't have changed it
Stands quiet, runs loud. Very nice sounds
Way better with FX-s, driveaway was also perfect sound! :) Good thinking guys!
It sounds SO much better with the mufflers. That said, I bet the drone at cruise is brutal.
I’m buying an SRT Jeep next year and I’m doing a straight pipe I like the way it sounds definitely going to do that with mine
The after set up so much better!
Sounds better with the fx. Sounds more clean and redefined.
After... It Sounds amazing. I have the same problem. I have a Ram 2500 with a 6.4, and all I am missing in my build is the headers. Sounds much better with mufflers.
Would like to hear some Thrush Welded mufflers on a Hemi some time.
I like the exhaust on this Jeep both ways.
I liked it after you guys put the mufflers
All this exhaust work and still riding temp tags
I wonder 🤔 😂
It can take up to 30 days if not more for the tag to process but it can take 1 day to realize you need exhaust work
98k miles, ouch
He barley got it and got it exhaust out nice truck but 100 miles 😢 the abuse it's already seen lucky if it last 2 years
With the flowmaster sounds delicious 🤘🤘
1'st one is like ..Metalica and second is like angry Barry white! Like them both! 😅
I liked it much more before the mufflers. Good sound but too tame
Needs dynomax bullets or an actual exhaust.
Much better after the mufflers!
SLP loud mouth is what I have sounds awesome.
ya i straight piped my 5.7 300S couple yrs ago, it was loud AF! hurt your ears.. so put bottle resonators on the back, bingo! prefect. this sounds good though, might try those Flow FX sometime ☮
I like the straight pipe but that's just me I think dodge v8's have one of the best sounding exhaust tones straight piped
Sounds good straight piped my 14’ charger rt is catless with mid muff and res delete and honestly i love it except around 2k rpm accelerating drone sucks
Are you as loud, slow, and obnoxious as your car?
Mid muffler delete with stock resornators on with aftermarket tip would of been better IMO
After is far better. I wish I could make my V6 Grand Cherokee sound like that.
I've heard the Flow FX sound better on other vehicles, but that straight pipe had to be annoying after a while, so he had to do something.
I would've liked to have heard some Black Widow Widowmaker 10s on there, but on the take-off, it did sound pretty decent...!
Flow FX is the best
I miss my Jeep SRT
What happened?
@@GAMRMNTS2 sold it, was too rough on bad roads
Sounds better with mufflers
I like the straight pipe. Think we shoulda got the drive away with the straight pipe in all fairness
Before 👑💪🏾💚
After, deeper is better
I'd go with the Flow FX.
Sounds good
Before definitely 😜😂🚀🔥
Would be nice if you can switch it off with a button kinda exhaust
I like both of them.
Flow FX FTW!
What a transformation
She's perfect. 6.4s need to brEeeeeath. Owner trippin
Such a clean sound!
Sounds nice and deep...👍🏼
I have the same flowmaster fx on my truck but my truck is loud af mind you its just a V6 Frontier.
I got the black widow shit does get annoying doing a 6 hour drive lol but love it
Before 🔥🔥
Finally u guys did my mufflers
I like it more before I but I also like loud lol
A Hemi can never be too loud.....lol
does lil hemi farts always kill me🤣
Dude I love this channel and everything here but you have to stop editing like that when you’re underneath the car it fucks with my head for some reason love the vids happy late thanksgiving
After sounds a lot better.
Straight piped for me.
Go Corsa Bud!
I like straight poor straight pie before
The sound was good the way it was before that’s not too loud
Before
Sounds nice
After for sure
Why no X or H pipe?
A 100k mile Chrysler product? Must be a bhph special.
Both of them!
Straight piiiiiipe ! 🤪🔥
Someone get this guy a prius 😂
❤ Awesomeness
strait pipe
Both but the first
I love it
Now its too quiet 🥲
straight pipe
I would rather hear thrush mufflers. Deeper sound without the rap.
Better before 🤘🤘
Those tips have seen the devil. Jeez
Second one is better I believe.
I agree
SHOULDA JUST USED ELECTRICT CUT-OUTS 💁😏🤣 BEST OF BOTH WORLDS.
After is more better
Botswana 🇧🇼 Botswana 🇧🇼 mxaaaaaaaah sound is okay where in America
After low tone.
Just me I guess, but why spend money on a nice performance V8 and then put mid level quality Chinese mufflers on it?

LMBO SMDH
Yall fucked it up 😂
Damn 100k miles how much he pay
That straight piped sound way better.. Main man don't need a SRT if he bitching bout the sound.
Well it's both nice but I love my s*** as loud as it can get like straight pipe sounds really good but honestly I would rather it be louder
Flow FX is grunty
Essentially just a mid muffler delete😂. Money wasted.
Lol 117 is loud enough
