see 1 move ahead and I'm still wrong , that sounds like most my chess games :)
I missed this game, thanks! Really enjoyed the Tan vs Muzychuk as well - Tan really gave her the business
I am binge watching these. Love'em!
How was the time control for the open section of the Candidates selected?
Finegold, you're a good teacher.
At 4:50, Black cannot play 1 ... Re8 because of 2. Bb5 Kxe4 3. Bxe8 Nd5 4. Bc6! winning.
And also 4. Bg6+ would win in that line.
Hey, this is more than 5 minutes.
I've reached 98th-99th percentile in several things including chess, but so far away from being a pro at anything, it's annoying!! Pro is like 99.999th percentile. That last .9999% difference is greater than the distance between me and an absolute beginner, much greater! 😢
Jack of all trades is better than master of one.
