Lovely Nadia. Just saving up some pension $$ so I can order your lovely products. I had so much fun painting the stained glass acrylic blanks last year. I had some lovely Christmas gifts to hand out for my special family and friends. Thank you.
🤩💕 thanks Cheri! Your orders are shipping tomorrow (I was sick last week, so catching up on orders now). Also, I saw you joined membership! You'll now have access to our member livestreams and exclusive discount!💕
💕Thanks Barbara! I'm so excited for you! I've been so busy creating the outlined designs, I'm finally getting to actually paint / resin some that I haven't tried yet, loving how they look in full colorful glory!
It turned out beautiful! As a retired Stained Glass artisan I tend to be obsessed with Stained Glass too!😆 Your design is wonderful. I was thinking using a rolling pin (gently😊) should work to press the adhesive down onto the frame. Those squeeze bottles worked brilliantly.
🥰thank you! That means a lot coming from a professional stained glass Artisan! The rolling pin may work, also putting the acrylic on a flat surface with a couple heavy books could work too!
Wow, really gorgeous. Just received my Christmas Ornaments ( and some awesome extras), can't wait to get started on them. Thank you for everything, Nadia. xoxooxoxooxox
This is stunning and I think the bottles you have are probably better for this than the metal ones, they are needle nose so the hole is tiny, once the resin starts to thicken you'd hurt your hand getting it out!! Xxx
So very beautiful Nadia! 💞🙏😃👍👏 Thanks for all the tips & demo on the resiners mixer/resin! I use their machine that gets rid of bubbles & love it! Will have to try their resin next time I order some.
You've inspired me. I have a project in the works but looks like I've over filled the mold. Can I proceed and just spray varnish rather than top coat with resin?
🥰 I'm am so happy that you feel inspired! Did you overfill with resin? I haven't tried spray varnish on resin before, so I'm not sure how it would react.
Another beauty Nadia. Do you think it will hold up as a sun catcher using resin? Or for sun catchers should we use paints instead? Planning on making some for gifts to hang in windows, might stick with the glass paints, just in case. Also, will you be putting the nativity scenes on your website soon with more Christmas designs? I have some people interested in those. Thanks, Pam
Thanks Pam💕 I did this one as a test and have it sitting in a sunny window area, we'll see how it holds up. Personally, I trust the glass paints to withstand the sun better, as we know all resin will yellow eventually. Thank you for the reminder, I'll aim to have the nativity scene added with more Christmas designs in the next week or so.
Hey Joslyn! Thank you!💕 I did use resin for this one, the Resiners brand was definitely easy to use and bubble free as they claimed! I'm keeping this piece by the window so I can see if/how it yellows over time.
Hi I have recently had a problem with over spill onto the protective covering with resin.Any helpful solutions to save my tropical waterfall piece would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
Is the resin cured on top of the paper? I have had some success with using an x-acto blade and carefully cutting the resin at the edge, then peeling the paper and resin off. If the resin is cured on top of the acrylic, you can also use the x-acto to carefully scrape/ lift it off, then clean the acrylic with a cotton swab and some isopropyl alcohol. It may not be the perfect solution (and there's potential for minor scratches on the acrylic) but for the most part, it works to remove the resin.
Hey Cindy! The backers are optional, because not everyone needs them, depending on their project. I have another tutorial where I used resin tape on the back (it's the mini Cacti/succulents video, I'll get the link for you). You can use that method for resin or UV resin.
Hey, no, I used resin dyes from let's resin (There's a link in the description under the video). My nail polish, my salon calls it the "cat eye" effect, they use a magnet to create some magic with it ✨️.
Oh wow!!! When you held it up to the window! ❤❤❤ Looove. Absolutely gorgeous.

@@LiaDiaDesigns that’s cool! Do you happen to know the brand name of the nail polish they used and the color name?

Very pretty! I just received my order and they don’t have the clear backing. How would I add resin to them? Thanks

Is it alcohol ink? What about almost immediate fade in sunlight?
