@@richardestrada4109 i had the same problem with connection check if you have enabled USB Debbuging in programmers options - on my phone that option was off thats why it didnt connect with controller
Same here! I looked everywhere on the internet to see if I wasnt the only one, same issue. My google pixel wont connect. I have been using an old iphone 6 specifically for drone flying. I wish I could use my main phone though
My phone is in a case so I need to use a short stubby extention. Tried a new extention and all good now. Never would have thought to check that without your video. Thank you!
Had same problem...was driving me mad for half an hour. Finally unplugged the USB C from the drone to the phone, flipped it around and plugged it in the other way, and now it works perfectly. Geez. Never had this issue before in two years....now all of a sudden it matters which way I plug in the USB C. Weird.
If someone have problem with connection check if you have enabled USB Debbuging in programmers options - i was sure i had it on but apparently some android update turned it off. Enabling this option resolved problem for me - my phone worked fine with apple cable but didnt connect with dji cable included with the drone or any other cable :)
Having an ESC error code, so drone refuses to take off. what do i do i have tried updating the firmware, i didnt see options for downgrading. please what do i do. i'm going crazy. the drone didnt crash or nothing
Thanks I’ve been trying everything and was waiting to try another phone. straight away it worked. How can this be fixed though? I’m not buying a new phone just for my drone. I have a iPhone 14 pro and it always worked before. Can anyone help plz? Must be able to use my phone with it again
Check the phone/controller cables provided with the drone. Mine were all faulty. New cable. Sorted. Shame on you dji to force folks to get the new phones.
My SE was losing connection out about 600 feet. I immediately started back. It disappeared & lost all connection about 170 feet from home point. Even though RTH was enabled, it never kicked in. It’s lost. I was using cable supplied with the unit.
I crashed my mini 4 pro, it was with rc2 and after crash the view was visible but after few minutes the drone got disconnected, and now after repairing the physical damages the drone is still not getting into pairing mode or it is not getting connected to the remote
our drone is the same i can see the drone cam on my phone, my problem is evry time the drone goes far frm me or high it looses its connection and I cannot navigate the drone anymore
I have the same issue. I bought a Samsung A23 phone. Drone and controller would not link. I switched back to my Samsung Galaxy A51 phone and problem solved.
My Samsung ultra first worked well with flying ny drone , but soon after some months i find out that THE RC doesnot pair with my s21 ultra ? Can anyone help me out with this😢😢
Bought the DJI mini 3. Took a total of about 6 flights in 3 days. When i was going to take it out again the controller wouldnt connect so i decided to try and pair them manually. The drone wont enter pairing mode. Read online it could be the battery is too low. So i decide to charge it on the same block, cord and outlet combination that worked multiple times already. This time the battery didn't seem to be charging. Managed to get it to charge but took 12 hours. Still wont enter pairing mode. Read online to try and reset firmware. Computer doesnt recognize drone regardless of what cord i use. Decided to bite the bullet and spend the last of my savings on a new battery (rest spent on dji mini 3) in hopes it would solve my issue based on everything i read. Still in the same position. Not sure what to do other than currently trying to contact their customer service. Any ideas what my issue may be?
does not fix my issues.. barely used the drone after being in storage the POS no longer pairs no matter which phone i use. Controller CLEARLY has contact with the POS as it stops pairing after a few seconds if drone is in pairing modus, but drone itself still stuck int hat pairing and nothing happens.. no error no nothing
So I have to keep buying new phones every time I have this problem…. that’s pretty stupid. Anyone know if the DJI mini 3 controller works with the mini 2 drone? Because that controller has a built in screen
The led lights have different flashes and mean differen things, Make sure you have downloaded the correct software to your phone, then use your phone to navigate throught the set up and choose your drone model. Good Luck

I have an apple iphone facing the same issues. So whats the fix? Plugging in and using a different iphone??? No sense at all!!!
Fix it?
My iPhone won’t read it but my wife’s will, did you figure out a way to get it to connect?

Try restarting your phones people, it did the job for me...

Restart phone was enough. It Works now

Have you double checked your port and that the cable is good, make sure a PC can see your phone to check the data link.

Nice drone😊
Thanks 😀
half the connection issues ive had have been with bad cables OR the phone/tablet case is blocking the connector from going in all the way
Great point about the case👍
