Darren, this video could not have dropped at a better time for me! I pick up a new Mini 2 this morning to replace my crash damaged 2. I thought I would refresh my memory to change the settings efficiently by watching the video you made about 8 - 9 months ago, but lo and behold you have made this little gem! I love your work and enjoy your presenting style enormously.
I had been holding out for the Autel Nano+ but my patience was waning and when a friend asked me to take some images of their Christmas light display for charity yesterday I decided to bite the bullet. I guess I shall remain a DJI fanboy now and upgrade as and when a Mini 3 is released, but there is no rush now.
That’s awesome! Yes for now it’s the best small drone, even if a mini 3 comes out this will still be great

Great video. Had a Mini 1 for 15 months and recently got a Mini 2 and love it. I have only flown it 4 times because of bad weather. Now put away for winter (Toronto, Canada). I will certainly use the phone video and suggested in the "Bonus" section. Always enjoy your videos.

Great tips and even though I've had mine since summer these are good reminders and after app/firmware updates good idea to check if your settings got reset!
So windy here yesterday I actually had to use sport mode to plow into it!

Clitheroe Castle was a surprise near the end, with Worsaw and Pendle in the background. I need to go fly on and around Worsaw. Also starting inside the castle and rising out of the top, since Cromwell so consideratey removed the roof.
I normally do not comment on videos nor do I give thumbs up but I will say this video here absolutely brilliant and I wish I would have seen this when I was newer to this drone you did a fabulous job that giving a quick rundown on some very important tips

Wow! I’m thinking about getting this drone soon and after watching many videos this is by far the most helpful! Thanks for all the tips. Great video thank you also I need help regarding LED lights not blinking at all, I have already changed the settings ; Breathing, Rainbow and Solid but nothing changed. It would be a great help to correct this issue.

How do you the last part to record with your cellphone, I have gone back to see the explanation about ten times and don't see were you click to do it... Is it only for Iphone? I use a Android Phone.

Hi DM, just a quick question, as for phone settings do I need to turn on locations, WiFi or data roaming to be able to use maps.
Helpful video just got my mini 2 so handy to have a recap of what settings to use.
I’m just having issues with smooth video it looks smooth in my phone then play it back and it’s jittery not sure what I’m doing wrong
Are you playing it back straight from memory card ? Or after editing ?

Hello, thanks for video. I rewind step 5 a couple of times and still can't figure out the self photo feature, I'm using a android and don't know if the apps are different alot of the features are the same but don't see that setting for the camera that gives me access like your demonstration.
