just tried the way as you show in the video, it work for few minutes, later afternoon, it does not soft close again, then I pull the same fuse, it work again, 3 hours later just came home after work, it is not working again, is possible the battery causing that? or something else?

I bought a L320 sport, when you drove the front passenger wheel would brake up hard by itself, without touching the brakes. I got the steering angle sensor calibrated it fixed the problem. Yep my lad had his ac control fail in his audi and one of these got him out of trouble gets a bit of heat into the car to help get things clear

Had one a year now...works fine...quite often special functions dont work on some vehicles....but at least one not been rooted as much as when this happens with a Snap on one...😂😂

The error on my diagnosgtic tool is "can bus" the symptoms are the same are yours "air suspension inactive" and some lights on the dash are on. Why you swap the new cover with the brushes to the old unit?

You know what's illegal? driving with just a peephole in your window from a partially defrosted window until the rest clears up, reckless driving with heavy fines as a mild punishment and running someone over at worst. Don't drive your 2 tonne car before you can clearly see out of all windows folks, and for gods sake, brush loose snow off of your roof! I don't care what you say you use it for at the end, you suggest using it as described in my comment at the first part of the video.

Variations on this heater have been around since cars were invented. They are limited by the capacity of the cigarette lighter socket power and fuse. The best solution to window defrost is to run the engine with the screen blower on high, get off your sorry arse and scrape the glass. A pair of thermal gloves might save your pinkies. If you own a Ford with an electrically heated windscreen, use it. It's total BS that all cars don't have this for the front as well as the back screens.

There is always al danger of your doing too many short journeys that the battery won't be charged enough during the journey to make up for the starter motor. Idiot that heater before starting the engine significantly increases that risk as you'd need a longer journey to make up for the power consumed before the regime was started

Going for a drive with only a part of the window de-iced is dangerous, and it is also illegal. Defrosting all the windows with this small heater will take a long time, and it will drain the battery very fast. On the Banggood website i can not find how much power it uses from the 12V socket, in most cars that socket has a 10A fuse, the maximum power is then limited to 120W. With only 120W it will take forever to de-ice all the windows.

A kettle of Luke warm water melts all the ice on my windows followed by a wash leather on the inside works for me 👍

I wouldn’t be operating it for too long with ignition lights on without starting the car or expect a flat battery.

You're a legend mate. Methodical and pragmatic. My issue is that it is randomly unlocking while the car is running. I'm thinking it's a similar issue but the inverse, the switch is being triggered without being pushed. I'll order a replacement and follow these steps to investigate and replace it.

The interior trim of the TypeS is just beautiful, way better looking than the 5d Love mine, got it new in 2008 and I have absolutely no reason the sell it. I'd rather turn that money to gas and never spend two weekends in the same place 😁
