Great to know the engine doesn’t get too hot. A big consideration when riding in the summer here. When you were trying to get the bike into first gear did you try to release the clutch a bit to coax it in? I’ve had that happen on my current bike. I’ve visited a QJ dealership 3 times now. To check this bike out. Each time I notice another nice detail about this bike. They have really chosen a nice platform to work with and it seems they’ve really upped the game compared to the cbr650r. It’s really good to see.
We are in almost in winter, and hot engine is the biggest advantage of the bike for me now😂😂😂 I tried to manipulate it a bit, but I didn’t succeed much, but I think it’s a matter of a habit, each bike is different, and this is the only complaint of mine, I will get this bike for a couple of months in January, and I’m excited, this is my favorite Chinese bike along with NK800 now, and it was the first bike that I rode for 6 hours straight in a traffic, it was extremely addictive, didn’t want to get off it, I think it’s better then cbr650r in almost every way, probably aside of reliability)

I drove some re-badged Mitsubishi 4x4's when I was living in Korea that were produced by Hyundai. They were reliable for me so I'm hoping the same happens here if I pull the trigger on this bike.

well for a chinese copy cat bike its well built top speed is great acceleration is decent i think maybe if you tune the bike a little bit i think it would help the bike out with acceleration ALOT but other than that for a 800cc thats 37 thousand yuan its a great bike for the price you pay.@@eddywave3315
@@eddywave3315I totally know about being cut off, or taxis driving by in high speed an inch from the bike. I've ridden bikes from 2005 - 2009 in Beijing and in Chengdu for all these years. I wish they had those new cool bikes back then. All we had available was 250cc's at that time 😂😂
I had test ride today, and I spotted the same problem with shifter. It feels smooth shifting up and down during the ride, but it stuck several times in N in just 20 minutes.
Yeah, this is annoying especially when you ride for some time) I hope they fix it in new bikes, coz I really liked SRK800. Oh and I think they should add a quick shifter too👌 What do you think about the performance btw?
@@eddywave3315 I quite like it too, and considering to buy one. 60k rmb is just ok price not to feel sorry to abandon it when I leave China forever 😂😂 Yeah, no quick shifter. But shifting down go smooth without clutch, just not sure is it "good for healthy" 😂😂
@@lionstartrading the biggest problem I have with these bikes is the crazy rate of release, you buy a new bike now, and in half a year, it’s an old bike and there are a whole bunch of new bikes which are better, faster, with better technology, and your bike lost 30%of its initial price if you’re lucky. So I think it makes a lot of sense to buy second hand bikes, or wait for something really special)
@@eddywave3315 I don't think that Chinese manufacturers will make anything really good in next few years. CF moto and QJ motor are close. Others are still struggling with lacking of experience and naive tries to make cool bikes. Design is mostly kitsch, and quality quite questionable. Chinese are not crazy riders (except revving cold engine), so I agree about second hand bike with low mileage as a good option.

Damm I was about to go dealership for the SRK450 but this video tells me is better to wait for this one and get the SRK600 while waiting plus I love the scooters the y are absolute dominators for big cities like México so may be if I play well my hand I can get the Fort 350 the defimitive scooter from QJ and in the middle get a third bike
You can try to get SRK600 but it’s so different from 800) I think if you get used to SRK600 and later hop on SRK800 it would blow your mind) it’s so much punchier, faster and more fun to ride in general, SRK450 is way more maneuverable on the other hand, so I would probably get it over 600) but most people would get 600 anyway

Yea! QJ motor In 2005, acquired Benelli. Whie MV Agusta Motor in 2023 announced a strategic partnership with QJMotor for distribution of its motorcycles in China. Maybe QJ staff wanted to say they are partnered with MV Agusta in China.
Agree, but taking how powerful it feels, I’m sure they artificially cut the max speed on 220, In China legal top speed for bikes is 60 km/h, bikes aren’t allowed on highways, and there not dat many race tracks around, so QJMOTOR decided to play it safe😂

@@kevinwilliam5879 I have Duke 790 now, and in the city with bad traffic 100 feels fast, but it’s not about the top speed, it’s about acceleration, in other countries where you can ride a motorcycle on a highway higher speed makes sense though

for the first gear problem move the bike forward a little bit and then try to shift to first gear
