    I don't know if I have BPD but I relate to so many things you said and I will definitely use the tips and advice because I tend to struggle a lot. As I was listening to you describe all these things, I felt shame falling off of me. I needed to listen to this video.

    I'm so glad to see we share the same trauma! I also have bpd!! i was bullied in school so badly by everyone in elementary school that I kinda rationalized it as I'm worthless and unlovable, I also have religious and family trauma especially with my dad! I also started to self harm and my life got worse during middle school when it started to manifest

    thank you so much for making this in debth video and being so open and vulnerable. It helps more than you know.˚ʚ♡ɞ˚
    I don't have bpd but still struggle with some similar symptoms and i will try out some of these skills because they sounded really helpful.
    A skill i learned that really helps me calm down is visualizing my breath as waves in the ocean. As i breathe in i imagine how the water is being pulled back, and as i breathe out i think of the waves crashing on the shore and rushing over the sand. Idk maybe it resonates with you or someone else.
    you can be so proud of yourself for how far you have come, i'm always rooting for u ♡
    (Btw you look like the prettiest doll ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ your look in this video reminds me of 'girl, interrupted')

    While DBT has sort of helped it hasn't fully done the trick.
    Here's to hoping something good comes out of it!

      @@tinyartbean oh yes i understand you, i experienced similar things in previous relationships and would never be with guy who does such thing. a good therapist’s video about it says unjustified jealousy is a „misuse of imagination” and that’s totally true..the advice you gave me is also what he said!! to separate reality from imagination clearly - it is a temporary but perfect solution. i wish to feel like you as my bf never gave me reason to feel anything but the only girl in his world, but in my head all he sees is pretty girls around. dealing with thoughts is very difficult but it’s far less lonely with accounts like yours

    I was just left by my gf with bpd about a month ago. It only lasted about 2 months. I was her first relationship. Everything seemed like it was going perfectly. We were hanging out all the time. Never had any issues, it was out of nowhere. She said she got scared of how she felt. And didn’t understand it. I’m just so lost.

    • @tinyartbean
      @tinyartbean  Місяць тому

      im sorry i know how much of a struggle being in a relationship can be for someone with bpd. things can change very drastically sometimes especially how we feel towards someone else, something known as “splitting” can happen towards people we like and it’s like “black and white” thinking and our feelings change to the complete opposite. if everything was going good i wouldn’t assume you did anything wrong or it’s your fault !! maybe they’re just still trying to figure their own emotions out but i also know we struggle with a fear of abandonment really badly especially when we get with someone close we really like we’re so scared you’re going to leave us we might have the urge to leave before you do so we don’t get as hurt cause of how painful our breakups can be but im also explaining from my own personal experience on this so they may be feeling different !! but don’t be hard on yourself and try to be patient and understanding with them at this time i wish the best for both of you

      @@tinyartbean thank you. She told me she really wanted to remain friends. And keep hanging out. I checked in with her 3 times. About once a week. The first time she did not want to talk at all. The second time we talked it was just like it used to be. We ended up talking all day that day. But that last time I checked in with her she didn’t want to talk at all. She said I shouldn’t be worried about her. It’s not worth it. She said she didn’t know when she would ever be ready for a relationship. Then out of nowhere, one day she blocked me on all social media. I’m leaving for a college that’s hours away. Which I think may have triggered her fear. It probably wouldn’t have worked anyways. But I really adored her. It’s been tough.
