Replacing the inner tail lights on a E46 2001 BMW 320Ci Coupe

Welcome to another Kaxbyrita DIY video where a random dude on the internet is trying to fix his car.
This video shows how to replace the inner tail lights located on the trunk on a 2001 BMW E46 320 Coupe. Most of the things done here need to be done too when just replacing the bulbs for the inner tail lights. The bulb type is P21W.

Great video. I had a question about the bulb holders. I noticed that the bulb holder on the passenger side of the car or the first lense that you replaced in the video, only had one socket for a bulb and was only able to hold one bulb but on the drivers side, there was two sockets for bulbs. I always thought that those inner tail lights were for used for reverse lights and tail lights. I have a 2001 325i and I only have one bulb for the inner tail light too. The only thing that works are reverse lights. Is that correct ?? I'm confused about how it's supposed to work. I would think that there would be two bulbes for each lense.
