Hey Make Boss! I love the authentic rugged terrain and attention to every detail! I'm inspired to build my own. Let's see what I can do with a Duplo train, a few throw pillows, and 4 kids who have been promised hot chocolate if they help me.
Thanks Bruce! I just saw your Nelson Bench inspired side table video and we are huge Nelson fans here. You may have noticed the floating cabinets in the background of the video. They are painted in the colors of the Nelson Ball Clock.
This has inspired me to make something similar but just the card board part for my kids cars. Super cheap yet bigger than anything I could buy them. Then since its plain cardboard they can decorate it themselves.
Hey there, I'm looking back at a few viewers who really clicked with us to let you know that we have new projects coming up and more Lego in there. We just posted a new space segment on the channel and the Lego ISS even makes an appearance there. But. more importantly, in the first ten seconds there is a highlight reel of our diverse upcoming projects. Head to the channel and our newest post, Space Is What's Next - Episode 1 - The Cram Session, I hope you enjoy it.
Thank you so much. I have enjoyed the peeks into the Lego room on your channel. Our Lego Rapid Prototyping Lab has been in storage for too long as we set up a new studio...

I'm not totally sure Jacob. I have used water based paints in a "Preval Sprayer" though the sprayers leave something to be desired even with thinned down latex or acrylic paint. There are acrylic enamel and water based custom spray paints available from Hedrix. The acrylic enamel uses some kind of solvent and I'm not sure about using it with foam, and the water based paint, they warn you, is pretty tricky to use, probably not unlike the Preval... Let us know if you experiment with these. Preval: preval.com Hedrix: www.myperfectcolor.com/Custom-Spray-Paint/33865.htm
It's just the pipe, adhered to the foam, adhered to the slip of cardboard, but together it.s such a wide footprint it proves to be an adequate outrigger.

Cool! reminds me of the train set I used to play with as a kid. Are there any spray paints you know of that for sure work on styrofoam?

Fantastic. Am intrigued - does the PVC tree holder pipe run all the way through to the ground and is it supported only by the foam?
It's just the pipe, adhered to the foam, adhered to the slip of cardboard, but together it.s such a wide footprint it proves to be an adequate outrigger.
What is the purple stuff
Here's a link that I hope answers that question and more: www.hunker.com/13401201/what-is-the-difference-between-pink-and-blue-foam-board
