I tried to explain Imperial measurements to my 13-yr old the other day - why the rest of the world uses metric and how logical a base 10 system is. Also I saw Mel at a Hollywood party in 2012 or so. It was weird.
@ Darren Rosenberg. Sorry to read that you find it pointless. There is so much meaning and significance in this work if you do a bit of a literary analysis on it. Bobby Fingers has just pushed Banksy off the perch of 'my most beloved contemporary artist'. I loved it. Especially because somebody found the physical relic. A treasure hunt. A short lived experience and one of the lucky viewers got to find the piece via the gps co-ordinates. Bobby Fingers is next dimension brilliant. Amazing how two people see the same thing and come away with such diametrically diverse views of the thing.
@@DesireeLourensArtist All the meaning and significance is only subjective opinion which is in your mind. Other people have different minds, so meaning and significance might not exist at all to them. Artistic value exist only in the imagination of the people.
@@rickrandom6734 You really think so? Interesting. Of course at the end of the day everything is, and can only ever be subjective because we're self-contained beings within closed systems sharing many common characteristics - form for starters is something we all have in common so there's a space for intersubjectivity and it is within this space that the spectator and the artist/creator find common ground, don't you think. Take the lot of us who were totally mesmerized by the artist whose work captured/captivated us for the entire duration of the performance, regardless of the separation of our minds from the minds of others: and I agree with your assumption - we're also separated by geographical features, but as always there are commonalities overlapping spaces where meaning and significance are far larger than both of our minds put together because the meaning and significance of the thing (art) elicited something innate we all value - art, regardless of the form it takes. Art is a point/space where shared value/s exist/s. Also I don't think imagination exists in people, in fact I think the opposite. I think imagination is something that is far larger and older than all of us combined and I think there are few who have access to the imagination - except of course children - whose access is unlimited until they begin being conditioned by the systems of aggregation, indoctrination, et al.

It's extremely soothing to listen to your narration and see this work come together. It's amazing to see someone create something this detailed.
I love how there are dozens of hours of excruciating work put into every single thing, but the cop is juste a random model whose fingers clip through his flashlight.
With those fingers and flashlight painted as clearly as possible
You mean fleshlight.
That is how the flashlight appeared to Mel at the time, so quite accurate really.
This is a high quality production in 27 different ways. I’m gonna tell everyone and we’re all hooked for the next instalment.
Am I hearing a class limerick accent or am I going mad? Utterly perfect video worthy of success. Easy subscription.
God I love finding channels like this this early on. Getting in on the ground floor always feels amazing. Anyone willing to spend this much time and effort on making a diorama of Mel Gibson's infamous arrest deserves a sub. Good luck my dude 😎
To quote my husband after he cried tears of laughter throughout the video, "well that warmed my heart." 😂 Bravo, sir. We eagerly await more videos.
Hahah “that tequila sunrise look” this is priceless!
This is the most important UA-cam video to be produced in a very long time
This was very entertaining. Loved every second of it.
Wait. Hold up. The production quality of this tells me you're good at this....how is this all you've uploaded?!
I
Must
Have
MOAR
that voice, those sculpts, the methods
Well, I'll be here waiting for more content, I just subbed.
Thanks so much for your kind words 👍🏻
@@bobbyfingers No thank you for fingering all of us
@@bobbyfingers please narrate more videos. Highly entertaining. 👍👍👍
Came here from The Slow Mo Guys Channel after this was linked in their recent video and I love this content! Marvelous in so many different ways. 👍
Ditto 😊
I've stumbled across this completely accidentally and I am utterly loving it. Good stuff mate
Edit: God this went so much deeper than I ever expected. Honestly I wish you all the best! Never really got into model making as I always did painting and drawing. Maybe I should give it a whirl at some point!
What the hell, you made that car entirely from scratch! Very impressive wide-ranging skillset dude. I tried to explain Imperial measurements to my 13-yr old the other day - why the rest of the world uses metric and how logical a base 10 system is. Also I saw Mel at a Hollywood party in 2012 or so. It was weird.
Fav comment so far. x
Mr. Chrome, you are one talented man! Can’t wait for more content!
This is both hilarious and incredible. Such an astonishing amount of craftsmanship to produce something so brilliant yet pointless. True art.
One of the finest and most hilarious videos I’ve ever seen on YT. Videos like this are why the internet was created. Well done, Bobby Fingers!
Please keep these coming. You’re an artist of the highest degree
this is one of the most awesome pieces of art I've ever seen, it's not just the quality but the weird as content is a huge part of it
I'd like to see a diorama next of Hollywood elite molesting child actors.
And just like that, there it is: something truly unlike anything I’ve watched before. Genius.
this is one of the best videos i've ever watched, i was so enthralled by the skill and creativity of making the diorama and laughing out loud at the commentary, my god. this got me inspired to work on my own passion projects & im absolutely thrilled just to see the existence of this channel and what you're making!
I have to comment again to convey my total, heartfelt love and appreciation for what you have created. So. Much. Talent. I laughed so hard my neighbour across the street sent me a text asking if I was ok. THANK YOU. Please make more.
Blown away! Wow. Your artistry and creativity is beyond anything I've ever seen before! Original, unique, captivating. I'm totally blown away. Loved the experience of watching this video. Just beautiful.
Easiest subscribe of my life in youtube, the central idea is solid gold and i believe that the art , the hilarious commentary and the countless things that could be used as an inspiration makes this channel one that potentially could take over the whole platform.Bravo sir Bobby , i'm waiting almost anxiously for the next one , although take your sweet time .Brilliance should not be rushed.
You are a true artist, sir. Please continue to share your gifts with the world.
This is clearly not your first rodeo in about 100 different skills used to make this diorama and video. Fantastic work on both, subbed right away.
15:34 "effluent" my favorite single word in this vid. Great work.
This was the most captivating and entertaining bit of media I have seen in a month. I learned about about model making. I learned a bizarre anecdote about Daniel Day Lewis and Anthony Hopkins. I was relaxed by the ASMR narration of the modeling process.
I liked the bizarre antidote, too, and am grateful we live in a country where no one would go on the internet and just make something like that up.
Holy moly, this was the most enjoyable video! Between that lovely accent, your witty repartee, and your exquisite work, I'm looking forward to your next installment. Thank you!
this was the best video i saw all this week. generally speaking. and probably the best thing i've ever seen in a limerick accent.
This is incredible. I will happily watch days of this!
I would gladly share any adventure with Bobby Fingers. This sound perspective is increasingly rare, it seems these dayz. Then Bobby shows up with the gift of gab, razor sharp and single vertex focused. I am humbled. I am shook. I am grateful. Thank you.
The amount of effort and detail for such an absurd piece is just too hilarious. I was consistently overcome with giggling.
I watched the entire video 😂
Instant hit, as a fellow irishman I highly approve the work and the humour. Totally subbed and looking forward to more.
Watched the video and went to your channel wanting more and was disappointed that this is the only video you have. I'll be patiently waiting for your next masterpiece! Great work.
This is one of the best videos I’ve seen on UA-cam, the expert craftsman ship, the brilliant editing and calm voice over with brilliant humour, man that is an instant like and subscribe from me, keep it up this is amazing
Mate, watching you make this diorama was like listening to a gristled detective recount the tale of the time he and his buddy arrested Mel Gibson. It's incredible!
The commitment to the bit here is *absolutely outstanding*
100k subs by Christmas, I guaruntee

You are a true artist!! I LOVE the commentary! Do more of these!
This is incredible. I'd love a series, 2am on a Thursday night would be perfect.
This is your only video and it's amazing. It presents itself like you've been doing it for years.
Thank you for this.
Get this channel blown up, this level of talent is astonishing
Needless to say, the diorama is fantastic. The dialogue is priceless though.
The commentary has won me over. Liked and subscribed.
You are amazing, my good sir!!
This is a treasure! I could watch this all day. Thank you for showing off your amazing talent!
That was a fucking work of art. As someone who also lives in a small country, the references to local shops was very topical.
holy crap dude. i thought you were just gonna use a model kit car for the police cruiser but damn you made the whole thing from scratch. earned my sub
I am soooo soooo incredibly happy that I found you. It sure took a while and this was by accident.. just to prove that thing my mom always said.. . "this too shall pass"... OOOPS.. wrong one// "Keep your legs crossed!!! "... nope.. hmm. what was it again.. oh yeah.. "Good things come to those that are first in line".. yeah.. that was it. I think... Thank you for what you do.. Mr. Create Man.. so talented.. and gifted.
THANK YOU
Absolutely brilliant. Can’t wait to see more of your creations.
I’m honored to have been given this glimpse into your madness.
Beautiful work Bobby.
Thank you kindly Brian
THANKS BRIAN!!!!!
You captured a pivotal moment in American history. Hope to see more great stuff from this channel, Bobby.
I laughed on my balcony too late at that, thanks brother. Silence is there to be broken
