I’m very interested in the alarm and auto-shot options. This could be useful for monitoring thermal excursions, or automatically capturing overheat events? I like the array of features and startup time, but the display needs a shroud for outdoor use. The tripod mount is terrific, but it seems that a fold-out set of legs could be integrated into the handle for close-up work. I think this would be a very good unit for HVAC professionals working indoors, but not ideal for benchtop/macro work.
Is there an additional glass or plastic panel on the screen? It does look quite the snazzy thing! You aren't saying the overall battery is just that coin cell...right? If they have a weathersealed version, that would be even better, the best part is it comes with a proper bag!

Great points Paul..also there is no optional macro lens available, so close up detail is limited. Still, the image quality is stellar!

It's weather rated IP54 (in the video description) and has a built-in 4850mAh rechargeable Li-ion battery. The carry case is awesome 👌
@@KeepOnTesting Shew, that is a BIG battery! Though IP54 isn't what I had in mind, atleast it has a formal rating than some other brands with nothing.
