Even if it was less accurate than Sanwa, I would consider it a good option given the 10x price difference. But as it is, I think I would actually prefer it to any other LCR meter I had. It's just the right size for my baby hands, just the right price for my wallet and covers all the LCR needs an average person can have. 👍
Let me say right off tge get go,in no way is it more capable than that SANWA LCR Meter, period. However, for the hobbyist and non production end user it will certainly fit the bill. 😊 It's very accurate and that OLED display is just awesome 👌
Very tempting, but how much is it in Canada? That Canadian tweezer has always been beyond my budget! I have the Uni-T, and also the old Extech green one (which almost killed Dave Jones). Inclusion of Inductance and variable frequency is a real bonus for me.
Hence, diode mode to confirm no gate-source voltage while testing a Mosfet. Btw.voltage drop is not very accurate, probably because of low output current.SMD Cap testing via continuity can give alot of false positives so its not always the best method.
Is it in-circuit capable? If it is, dang, HELL YES!!! But would have been nice if you tested bigger capacitors like bulk decoupling units...that's what I use that the most. How high can it go with that?
@@pault6533 The larger the capacitor, the less apparent capacitance it would show up, but within tolerance. I have yet to see an electrolytic capacitor above its rated value!
To be fair its not a direct compare to the other tweezers you showed. They have voltage measurements and can (at least the Uni-T) measure zener diodes up to a certain voltage range so they can coexist. :) It's very cool though this one has continuity and selectable test frequencies.
I think it's a good to highlight the different Tweezers' capabilities..the HoldPeak and UNI-T are SMD not LCR Tweezers, so different capabilities. All depends on the users end needs. 👍
Maybe it would have been bigger and use more power just to add higher voltage capabilities. The Zener capability of the two larger devices is very good. The ZOYI manual tells you to use a different device to measure above 0.6v. I would suggest the UNI-T. It is marginally better compared to the Holdpeak in overall range and accuracy.
Good job! Thank you so much Darren!
This is a great set of LCR Tweezers Zotek! The quality and affordability is incredible. Well done. 😊👍
@@KeepOnTesting Thanks a lot!😃
🌄That's beautiful inside😎Thanks for the teardown! 🔧
Stellar indeed! ZOYI did an exemplary job on that pcb ! 😊
Hello from the Ukraine 🇺🇦
Hello my friend! Slava Ukraini 👍
Great review, thanks.
Thanks for watching!

I was testing 0,5uH inductor and ZOYI measured 0,6uH; 0,002ohm shunt resistor measured 0,0018ohm; 22pF capacitor - 23,5 pF. I'm impressed.
@@detalite it's got great accuracy 👌 especially at this price!

Aliexpress ships for under 32.00 CDN...can't beat that!
Continuity here is ABSOLUTELY necessary! The most common example is testing SMD capacitors or MOSFETs for shorts.

FYI, No beeps in the diode mode, only continuity mode. I wonder if they could firmware that in.
@pault6533 That would definitely take it up a notch, eh Paul 👍

The 0.3V setting supposedly provides good in-ckt tests. I measured a 22mF cap on this, my largest.
@@pault6533 Good to hear, low enough voltage to not turn on most diodes somewhere. Does it show ESR even at that large of capacitance?
@@ruikazane5123 yes it did report Rs. It read a little low for Farads. Not unusual, this is the upper end of its range.

No ESR?
Rs is ESR on this device = series resistance.
At the bottom of the screen it showed Rs - but was way off. It was in the 10s of ohms in each measurement where the Sanwa was closer to 0.4 ohms.
😮😊👌👍🏻
😊
Zoyi is definitely a girl with inductance measurement.
Don't you know it Bhushan! 😊
