It looks amazing. I would just oil it with Tung or Linseed oil and maybe a hand rubbed soft beeswax finish which would blend in with your cabinet. I love the look of re-purposed wood personally. Perfectly executed, a good carpenter is worth their weight in gold. : )
I love it! Can you imagine watching F1 Max Verstappen on that beautiful screen 😍 Winning the GP of Spa Belgium. Great carpenter 👌 excellent job. Greats from the Netherlands.
Very good looks great you inspired me to buy a projector and screen and must say am very impressed now looking for better projector so watching your videos for advise.
Great setup 👍 I notice though that you don’t have a centre speaker (under the TV) but have L and R speakers? Is this due to the PJ screen? I noticed it first on you Vividstrom floor standing PJS demo and made me question the ALR is acoustically transparent? Look forward to hearing from you, thanks
Dude my projector and surround system have been banished to my 12’ X12’ spare room .. My mrs wouldn’t dare allow it in the front room / bedroom / anywhere but there. It’s ruined in a 12’ room max screen size is 5 foot wide , and the surround in virtual mode she says is like living in a war torn city when I play call fo duty games. You sir have 1 very understanding mrs. 👍😂 great job and scarf boards are great for these kind of projects. Internal and external.
It’s clever I have a screen that sorta dominates lounge room wall but I might have seen it as an opportunity for a bigger screen given your new telly size also it might’ve been an opportunity for in-wall speakers and a few more “points” to your surround but I understand and like me it’s a budget and a WAF thing. You might checkout Andrew Robinson’s. His false wall used material cover over a removable wall or have a look at the English version of hollywoodzuhause for total system ALL in a false wall if dreaming big or looking for ideas to take your ideas to others
Woah! That looks so different from before! It gives a barn like atmosphere.

Beautiful job. Tempted to do something similar but build the other devices into the wall too (bluray, av reciever, media pc etc).

Thanks mate
What type of screen is it? Link please?
Absolutely Mustard mate, would have been nice to see where your actual projector was situated to I.e. distance etc ? Or did I miss that ??
It’s right at the end it’s about 10ft away the video shows it towards the end

What home surround sound do you use
Demon amp, Jamo speakers, the amp is quite new but the speakers are about 10 years old
Definitely an improvement
Definitely from that lime green🤮
Awesome!!
Great job, how much did the carpenter charge ?
Day rate 150 / 3 days

You need a new mrs 🤣
Ok, so the TV is just sitting in there then, it's not secured to anything?
No, the tv is on a bracket, the frame around the tv is removable for accessing the screen and ports etc
