The full tester bottle 8oz of dark pewter And instead of 1/4 black i used 3/8th quart. Maybe a tad less. For anyone watching write down the info on the cans themselves. Include the matte and semi gloss and how its described on the can not just the color. Include the base number and such. This paint on my 4k, 3d, 7000 lumen projecting works fantastically. You sir saved me around 700$ for what this appears to be giving me. The blacks are very black, and the colors really just POP. In my own opinion... Hi Joe - nice work, can you please tell me what is your screen size and out of 1 gallon, 1 quart and a sample, how much did you use from each for the blend?
Sorry for such a delay my screen size was 120in I mixed half of the full Gallon the entire sample bottle and the quart was about 1/4 . When I was done I added a bit more from the gallon can just to lighten up the wall as it was a bit to gray for my Taste. I hope this helps.
No Problem. Thanks.
If you make another batch, save a little and take it back to Home Depot and get a color match. They will give you a sticker with the exact colorant formula. That would be great if you were to post that. Thanks
How well does it work with lights on?
Noah Pedraza that all depends on the projector
Hi Skyview I liked your video and way to save money on projector screen. I am completely new in projector world and want to buy a projector and a screen, but after watching your video it seems like I can save some bucks on projector screen at least. Thanks for making this video. Just one question can We do the same way paint on foldable manual screen, please suggest ?
Will this work for pairing a motorized screen
bassinyourface I’m sorry I’m really not sure.
Super cool. Nice quality pic.
Interesting you used gray
That's an awesome looking screen! The colors are great. What would that mix ratio be? I just painted mine but it was too dark for my cheap projector. Can you please help me out so i can get it right ?
Craig L I actually had the same issue so all I did was add more of the white to the mix to tone it down to your preferred color .
How much of each paint o you mix together?

Did you mix all the paints together to make it all one can of paint?
trying to figure that out myself
why screen is not white ?
Do you have a mix to use if white is the desired color and not grey? I need a screen gain of about 1.4 in my setup. Thanks!

If we need reflection; why don't we use a mirror?
karim hassane it would then bounce off the mirror and play on the wall behind you. 😁
@@skyviewproductions diffusing vs reflecting ;)
How did you manage to remove the masking tape with damaging the paint below?
David Miller everything stayed in tack
You peel the tape off before it dries completely. Tape up for any accidental swipe or roll. Then after you are done with the 3rd or however many coats you remove the tape immediatly. Do NOT let it dry with the tape on.
How much of each paint was used. What is measurements of the mixture?
Instructions on how to mix this and how much of each substance
Why isn't black paint color?
Thank you very much after watching videos and videos, I found your video with all the paintings you use, and I just need to find the exact portions, stop looking for them or make several samples, greetings from Monterrey Nuevo Leon Mexico ..... .
If you like what you see here but don’t want to go through the trouble of running out to your local Home Depot and mixing up the paint yourself, let me handle everything for you. Private message me your screen dimensions and only pay for what you need. Don’t be fooled by the high dollar screen paint you don’t always get what you pay for.
Skyview Productions what is the mix ratio of each paint
If you look for my comment I mention the formula thoroughly.
Hey man, I havescreen size od 130 inches wide and I would like to paint the whole wall. Please send me your paint type and all if you can. Really appreciated !
