What are the goals of Carp on the Fly Productions?
The first and most important is educate about Carp. How Carp live, feed, and interact with the environment.
The second is to inspire people to want to fly fish for Carp.
The third is to educate and review the equipment that can be used for Carp.
And finally, to get people to respect these amazing fish.

Haven't fly fished since I was a teenager (30 years ago) and decided to pick it back up. So far this year I've caught perch, bass, catfish, sandbass, crappie, wipers, golden shiners, gar and two turtles on the flyrod, but a carp has yet to happen. Thank you for the great videos!
Glad you enjoy them.
Very nice and cool video. Carl are so much fun and underrated.
Couldn't agree more!
Nice Chanel and videos! Keep going.
Thank you! Will do!
This is absolutely incredible. I have a lot of carp in my area (some in places they really shouldn't be). I won't be able to see them first but I can try!
Good luck!
Wow, great catchphrase and excellent footage while poling. I imagine it was a bit easier to operate the drone from the boat vs the SUP almost like having an aircraft carrier out on the water.
It was, but it isn’t something I am used to yet. Good times anyway.
Hey! You coined a phrase, man!
The footage and everything is awesome.
Its alot of hard work.
Even the outfits you guys wear.. no dark colors ..carp are sensitive for contrast and silouette?
Yes. Carp have more cones in their eyes than most freshwater fish and that makes colors and contrast more apparent to them. Matching your background color can be make a big difference in when the carp notice us and spook.
Made my day.
Glad to hear it.
Did you know the fish would be in that area, or could you actually sight fish this place?
We had never fished this area before, so it took some searching to find them, but that was part of the fun.
Lol…is that a drywall bench for poling platform?😂
lol, yes it is. Redneck poling for redneck redfish.
@@carponthefly8282wished ida thought of that…I spent nearly 1200 having one built for my carp chaser
What type of boat?
It’s a alumacraft 1648 Jon boat.
