Great tips. I always use a packing list, so I don't forget anything and so I don't over pack.

Thank you for the great tips. Do you recall where you purchased the light weight beach bag?

@@simoneheidrich9081 I got that bag a gazillion years ago, so unfortunately I don’t remember. I just did a quick google search for “mesh beach bag” and a number of options came up that are just like mine. Sorry I couldn’t be more specific!

Some cruise lines don’t have free messaging so I like to bring post its and pen to leave notes for others in cabin on where I’ll be. The dimmable night light is important even balcony rooms get really dark.

We take a small magnetic dry erase board. It also works for notes to our room steward. A note of thanks or a good day message is always welcome.

Where do I find information on what you mentioned such as the travel safe (never heard of that).

I found mine on Amazon. If you search for travel safe, you’ll see some options come up. It has a cord which you loop around your beach chair or something else, and it clicks back into the safe with a combination lock. It’s not as secure as a bigger safe that you’d find in a hotel room or your cruise cabin, but it gives you that little extra bit of comfort that someone can’t easily swoop in and grab your valuables.

I've never paid for bandaids on ship. Just ask at customer service!

why don't you hang up your toiletry kit in the bathroom with a magnetic hook? No need to use towel rack.

@@pamrochon5527 I’ve found that the standard bathrooms onboard don’t have much wall space other than under the towel hooks or behind the commode. The suites definitely have more space to hang things such as a toiletry organizer. On my next sailing, I’ll be on the hunt to see if I can make it work to hang it elsewhere in the bathroom. Thanks for the suggestion!
