I learn so much from you, and I appreciate how dedicated you are to give your time to thrift shopping. I want to compliment the person doing the camera work and the person setting your sound levels. Their tallent combined with your generosity of spirit and knowledge makes for a very worthwhile program.
I can’t believe this brings back memories of when I lived on Wadsworth in Santa Monica. I had the exact table but the larger one which was used as a dining room table, and two chairs that match the table with the wheat design ..as I was packing up to leave and move into Santa Monica on Georgina drive ..they were outside, being loaded into the truck and zap gone
I would do anything to have your wealth of knowledge. To know the history, the materials and construction of an item, is to be able to more fully appreciate it. I wish I could have you come to our home, and look through our storage, and teach me about the things we have and love. The price of things doesn't mean anything to me, I love what I love, and I want to know more about it. To have someone that could unlock hidden secrets, validate beliefs and dispel misconceptions would be so wonderful. Thank you for your videos!
Thanks dr Lori! And this dr Spock said a lot of things in this book that were followed by all the "good" mothers wanting to do what's best... It's only lately that my mom told me that she regretted she had decided to believe this doctor that declared It's a bad thing to pick up and hold in your arms a crying baby because it would spoil this one! She was torturing herself by going against her feelings and instinct to pick up her crying baby to ease its tummy pain... Because it was said to come from medical studies and this expert knows what's best, you are just a mom! I'm born in 67, first of 3. Fortunately, the last 2 got to be spoiled! And I've learned a long time ago that there's no point crying because nobody will come for you... As well as finding out where my separation anxiety comes from, supposedly linked with eczema. Some doctors are real experts, like you. He wasn't... Thanks!🤗
O have Fiestaware and E. Knowles. Mine dates as far as the 50's that I know. Probably older. My father used them as subject still life for his art classes. He started teaching in 45+ to 1946. They wereolready old then is my guess. He has little money. Graduating in 45 g rom U of MN. and picking up wherever. Now I have them. I am the youngest of 3. I am 70.
Dr. Lori, what and when do you buy for yourself? It has to be hard to leave it all behind for us! I live in Savannah, Ga. and love my Goodwill. Being a glass collector I have no interest in that table. I recently started a tea pot collection. I would love to send you pictures of them. Recently I found a baby planter. Just stuck it in a cabinet. No interest at all until I saw this video. Love you and your show!!
Hi, I have a question regarding a serigraph- I watched your video and still am unsure if what I have is a poster or a print. Would you be able to tell me if I share a photo? It is a Tarkay. Thank you

One of the things, that's always interesting to me, is the life history of a piece. Those who have been before us. What life was like.
