Morning lady Mary Beth, you are so knowledgable,it amazes me .The Fenton glass is beautifully done .Thenk you for taking us around with you lv Ann uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️
Oh my goodness one of my favorite episodes! Excited to see your thrifting from Germany. So amazing that you have that special family connection and home! Thank you again!! Hugs! KEM
Gm Mary Beth, it’s so great to see you going to my favorite antique shop. I know Max Miller and most of the vendors there at Market Place. I found so many unique items there throughout the 10 years. I love that place and the people there.
Welcome back, learn something new everytime I watch, green depression glass is my favourite colour , gradually adding to my collection .Blue and white China is my go to colour plates and I now mix them with plain white thanks to you.
I almost passed out when you picked up the Fenton Basket., I WAS TOLD NEVER TO PICK UP GLASS BASKETS FROM THE HANDLE. They crack at the starting of the handle,, Thank you Sweetie for showing us all these BEAUTIFUL ITEMS., ❤️💖💖💖
Hi Mary Beth. This is a particularly wonderful episode. The glass space is fantastic. The Duncan Miller candelabra made my heart beat a little faster. I too favor green depression glass. It's delights me. The ff pig I saw at Ladybug is great. I have 2 friends who love and collect them so I now always notice them. The art and music carvings are beautiful. I so appreciate and enjoy the places you take us. And all I learn. Thank you much. Happy Summer Mary Beth!
I have my Grandmother's Cabbage Rose pink. I got her set in 1958 when she died. I purchase other pieces thru the years. I pair it with glory green. I also used different table sets for a wedding shower with different color on each table with vintage linens. It was stunning.❤
I live in Newark,Ohio. Home of the Heisey Glass Manufacturer. I have collected this glassware along with Fenton, and Imperial for years. Love this video!
Yay, you're back! That place is loaded with goodies. The lamp in the Ladybug store was incredible as well as the punch bowl and laddle. I don't own any but I think that the pink depression glass is my favorite. It just goes to show, you buy a quality piece and it lasts forever in so many different people's homes, really cool! Another great video!
I collect Sharon/Cabbage Rose in all colors of clear, amber, pink and green. My favorite is green because it matches my wedding china which has a green, pink and yellow floral band. I get many compliments on my collection and use it for special occasions and occasionally for every day. I love it.
Just a fabulous visit! You always share so much history and comprehensive information on my favorite antiques. Such a fine eye…well done again! Thank you so very much! ❤❤
For years I have collected the green and/or pink depression or elegant glass. As a child, I was so excited when my grandmother bought powder laundry detergent, she would always let me look for and open whatever premium glass piece was hiding inside! I think that is when my LOVE of glass, crystal and colorful glass items captured my heart ❣️I so appreciate your videos and wonderful information that you share with us ❤
Can imagine your excitement! Love hearing from you about your first hand experience with premiums. It really was genius marketing. Wish they would bring it back.
I have my grandmother’s Fostoria, rose bowl, top hat and candelabra. I cherish it!!! This glassware is stunning!!! I have some of the other pieces shown! Thank you for sharing this! ❤❤❤❤
What craftsmanship in that furniture with carving, inlay and clever design for the table leaves! No wonder it stood the test of time. I can’t imagine 300 years from now antique store shoppers looking at IKEA Billy bookcases manufactured today! 😂
@@LadyMaryBeth I'd planned on going, but we will be out of town last minute. I'll be at the next one! Thanks for the video. Max told me about it, so I had to go looking, of course. ☺️
I have my Mom's green depression glass she collected back in the 60's. And discovered it glows under black light! You should do a video on uranium glass. My local antique stores mentioned to me there is a new interest. People showing up with blacklight flashlights....looking for the glow!!
Have seen folks thrifting with black lights. Filmed a bit with glass expert Max Miller in his shop. This did not make the cut with sound issues. Will revisit at some point.
I have four households worth of antique glassware and dishes. My parents were antique dealers. My grandmothers were collectors. Some of it is worth a bunch of money.
I have a decent collection of Azure Blue Fostoria 5098 Versailles stem ware, dishes, servers etc. that I inherited from my mother’s side of the family. It is quite beautiful. It is fun to see it in pink.
I collect some green elegant glass as well as green opalescent. So pretty! My favorite is the lavender neodymium glass. I collect Fostoria Wisteria 5099 - 5299 (funny pattern name). The color is just stunning and it was made in the 30s, so almost (technically) antique. Love it! Another excellent video, thank you 🥂
Interesting and very informative - thank you!! Scales are probably greengrocer’s scales. Sweet shop scales would not be so big or heavy and would have an oval shaped bowl with a pointed opening at one end for pouring sweets into bags. Some English fine china miniature pieces were not salesman’s samples, they were used in doll houses.
Enjoy viewing your videos each week. The wealth of knowledge you share is phenomenal. My first love in Crystal dining ware continues to be Princess House. Considering it is from French, what are your thoughts on why Princess House seems to hover on the lower price scale when compared to other crystals dinnerware. I am a collector and have some unusual pieces.
Thanks for following the channel. Crystal is also my first love in tabletop. I remember the Princess House parties as a kid. It was our only outlet for nice crystal at that time. We still find it in antique shops and usually affordable. Some great pieces!
I had a set of that green ballerina pattern depression glass, which I sold at a garage sale in the eighties, but I kept my Grandmother's green optic block set. Yes, a premium with Mother's Oats. Thanks for showing the lovely furniture.
Thanks for reminding me of Mother's Oats. Had heard about this brand and Depression Glass. Can you imagine that today? As a kid, a toy at the bottom of the cereal box was our premium. Glad you have your Grandmother's Block Optic. Classic and versatile.
I collect the Pink Depression glass mainly but I have a couple of pieces in green and blue. I also collect Fire King mainly in the gold but have some pics in the pearlescent white. I have the Jeanette pitcher and 8 glasses with white design. I'm looking for the Madiera pattern either old or reproduction in plates saucers cups and salad plates or bowls. I love my collections. I can't afford to pay a lot as I'm on social security now which isn't much but would still like to have at least 4 place settings. Then I would be complete. I also have a pink deviled egg tray that I treasure which I know of only 2. I'm sure there's more around but I hunted a long time for that. Love it all!!!
Absolutely loved the video today, although I recognize several pieces I wish I had your vast knowledge. My question today is do you know the SMCS porzellan , Bavaria. The backstamp calls it the Germany design. I purchased from my local goodwill a teaset comprising of teapot, creamer, milk jug, 6 cups and 6 saucers for $7.99 for the whole set. It is in perfect condition. Thankyou for this week's video and have a wonderful 4th july
Oh my, the furniture is just beautiful. You could spend days in the China department! I noticed crazing on bottom of plates. Is that because of its age? Can you still use this china, in spite of crazing?
I would not use crazed plates for food service. Can be an underplate, displayed, or made into jewelry. Crazing is caused by age, and fluctuations in temperature and humidity.
Makes me nervous when I see candelabras, and.no.one.says.use.care when putting in candles...SUPPORT THE ARM from underneath and gently twist in the candles..❤ I saw a women break off the arm of a Baccarat candelabra...she was so rough😢
One reason depression was made in colors was to bring a bit of happiness during the great depression. At least that's what I have been told.
Happy birthday Mary treat your self you deserve it much lv Ann uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎁🎁🎁✉️✉️✉️
Very nice. Thank you. 🇺🇸👍💕
Thanks for watching! 😘
I see some of my cranberry glass goblets on the shelf there!

Awesome! Thank you! Sharing a German flea market today. Met a viewer from Texas there, too.
Welcome back!! Can't wait to hear all about your travels as you spread your knowledge with us and inspire us to elevate our homes.😮
I can't wait to go visit all these stores and such gorgeous treasures to see. Thank you for introducing another fabulous Houston store. 😊

Glad you enjoyed it! I am always learning from Max Miller.
Hello Lady MB! I've learned so much from you, especially about Waterford. Thank you and loved this video.

Sounds really pretty.
So special to enjoy and entertain with your Grandmother's Cabbage Rose set. Federal Glass made this original Sharon pattern from 1935-1939.

I am glad she is back too. I share your sentiments.
Great to hear from you! Was hard to not buy more while filming these shops. Yes, quality items stand the test of time.
Just so many items that I loved. The antique ruby ring was beautiful and so different.
So Many Fine Goodies😊 I inherited some Depression Glass from my Grandmother 💜Over the years I have collected more💜
Lots of nice items, very beautiful ❤️😊
Beautiful treasures! Loved the Fenton glass! ❤❤❤
The Fenton opalescent basket was tempting. Thanks for watching!
I love pink depression glass.
I collect Sharon/Cabbage Rose in all colors of clear, amber, pink and green. My favorite is green because it matches my wedding china which has a green, pink and yellow floral band. I get many compliments on my collection and use it for special occasions and occasionally for every day. I love it.
Exquisite items Just butiful …..🙋🏼♀️🙋🏼♀️🇨🇦👍❤️
I have a few pieces of pink depression glass--so fun to add in to a pretty table without needing to have a set.
Just a fabulous visit! You always share so much history and comprehensive information on my favorite antiques. Such a fine eye…well done again! Thank you so very much! ❤❤
I was fortunate to obtain fancy wash stand with 2 doors & a mirror insert & the marble on the back & top is a lovely pink & grey; love it.
One of my frequented antique malls. Thanks for everything.
Lady Beth is extremely class and so informative. She looks great on camera and her stories / videos are very entertaining. She should be PBS:)
I appreciate your kind comment. I will answer if PBS calls. Would be a dream!

The etched glass is so delicate. Lacy. I think it’s so light and elegant.
Beautiful bisque vase!!❤️

Good point! IKEA furniture will not be at flea markets in 300 years. By then, the tiny parts will have been misplaced.
Loved meeting Max Miller. We found some beautiful items!
Max Miller was at The Guild Shop as I was filming. Delighted to see him!
Finally had a chance to watch. All 3 stores have outstanding pieces. I really do like the Max Miller store. Thanks for taking us along!
Thanks for watching! I always learn from Max Miller. The Houston Glass Show is coming up in August.
All of the antique furniture pieces are amazing. I collect Kaiser vases, find them at thrift stores here in NJ. Thank you for the take along.
I just went to this shop today. It was great! The owner was so nice to talk to. Very knowledgeable and full of info about every piece in his shop.
Glad you met Max. He is such a gentleman and has a wealth of knowledge. There is a glass show coming up August 19-20 at the Fort Bend Co. Fairgrounds.

Good point! The antiques dealer had suggested candy shop scales. Bet these were costly to transport with such weight.
I collect the green depression glass!
Such a versatile color. 💚💚💚
I have a collection of Jeanette pink floral depression glass. I have added a few pieces of green depression glass to my collection .

Love that French extendable table. One could design a kitchen around that beauty. BTW - Happy 4th July. Not a celebrated holiday here 😂😂 x
Late to reply, and thanks for thinking of the former colonies on July 4. There were loyalists in our family tree, but mostly revolutionists.

I just found a Fenton rose bowl for 2.00 at a rummage sale it's in excellent condition. I collect the green depression too.
Incredible deal on the Fenton rose bowl. Enjoy! 🌹

SMCS Porzellanfabrik GmbH & Co. is a Tirschenreuth mark used since 1954. You got a deal on the Bavarian porcelain.
Thank you for your information on the Bavarian china,
