It is a downright magical experience when I hear goodness coming from my hands and I thank you for this! The fingertips on my fret hand are carved out of wood but my pick hand.. lol not so much. The blisters are forming on my thumb and index finger as I type. This Travis picking thing is new to me and I am like the polar opposite of Lindsey Buckingham in both style and skill lol I bet he never used a pick in his entire professional career. I normally use pieces of hard plastic shaped like Doritos.
It took me a mighty 4 early morning hours to work out just the first 4 phrases and to my surprise, for a few brief moments when it all came together, It felt like I was actually channeling Mr Page through me. Without instruction like this I would not be able, nor have the ear and patience, to illustrate all the various nuances that you break apart and explain for us amateur apprentice folks.
    Thank you!

This is great to see how the two parts interact. Zep was great at putting together such amazingly original compositions. Wonderful how the two chords create a droning tension. In the song's simplicity, with diverse snippets interspersed, it creates that droning tension but with enough variety to keep it interesting. GREAT composition.

@@dawson5262 he says in the video some of the parts are pretty overwhelming to learn. It's just not a beginners song. He does do an amazing job at explaining it. You just need to know the basics on how to play guitar and the terms to understand what he's explaining, that's all. He has plenty of videos that you can play in the beginner stage, try one of them first maybe 😉

I cannot put into words what a wonderful teacher you are...99% of the time lol. To teach a song like this that IS VERY complicated and in-depth and are able to deliver it so a lot of people can understand it and thence able to practice it to their own individual level is a gift that you should not take for granted. I sincerely hope you understand how your teaching touch people and allow them to progress to levels well beyond what they would normally never be able to reach with out your help. I know you've taken into account the mandolin on other Zep songs; they are so good, I believe, they actualy muted one of your tutorialss. I know I and many other appreciate the time you have put into these particular songs. It's nice to be able to play these songs as indivisuals and not relyihng on other muscians to fill in the gaps. Just and outstanding job on covering Jimmy Page's style, and i'm sure he would agree, even though the band tends to haved copyright issues. Thankfully this video is still available.

Thank You VERY VERY much, Dear Friend!!! With Your lessons I have opened for myself the guitar once more, which stood for about 20 years!!! And I have never thought, that i CAN play Led Zeppelin myself. You are GREAT in the explaining very easy, what seemes to be difficult. THANK YOU, my Friend! (Sorry, that I do not know Your name). Fine guitar work! I almost forgot this nice song, and when I hear and SEE you playing it I recognize what a good thing Page made.

    Hello,
Led Zeppelin is one of my favorite bands since i heard them in the radio 1969. I always enjoyed the music all these years. Now i found your channel and you showed and explained me what a great musician Jimmy Page really was and is. Thank you for that!
