Same here (in Greensboro, NC.), I'm 67. The show was absolutely fantastic, and it was Bonzo's birthday! Still have my ticket stub, lol.

@@bergie012 I'm almost certain she sang and played at the same time, then did some post-production to spruce up the recording. It would only be slightly less difficult to lip-sync and play than it would be to sing and play.

I had a steady diet of Zeppelin when I was about your age (look up the word anachronism and you’ll see you). I appreciate the complexity and unique style of their music more today as I’m nearly 70. I imagine only a few young people could know, much less appreciate them. Fewer people could do justice to their songs. You really nail it. Kudos girl!
You'd be surprised. I'm nearly 60, and a lot of the younger people I work with (remotely) are metal heads, and while Zep wasn't exactly metal, I think they all acknowledge Zep as one of the earliest influences. And a lot of the younger bands playing today wear Zep t-shirts, knowing full well of their legacy of their legacy BTW, have you heard of "The Warning", an up and coming power trio? I love to think that a new generation of young fans can appreciate music made long before they were born. I’m hard pressed to think of a band of today who’s work will play fifty years on. Anyway this girl’s got some chops.

First, how many could play it that clean, with that decisive, chill phrasing? Then the expression in her voice- it seems... definitive. Like this is the person and the voice that was meant for The Rain Song. Together? Best cover ever. A miracle if you ask me.

I am impressed. I’m almost 60 years old and a lover of most music. I was the youngest child in my family and was lucky enough to have older siblings that turned me on to Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and many others from the early 70”s.
You nailed this song and it’s obvious why. You are not only talented but you feel it in your soul and let it flow through you.

Especially hard to play in the odd tuning that Page used. I’ve tried it in standard tuning and it never sounded right. Now I know why her’s sounded exactly right, note for note. Such an amazing cover of one of my favorite Zeppelin songs.

in concert in Milwaukee back in the day.

In my teens, Led Zeppelin was probably the most important thing in the world to me. I’ve heard these songs hundreds of times and they mean so much to me and so many others. I also love to see someone play songs exactly like they were recorded, so this was a double treat for me. Truly, what a great job you did. Bravo!

This is one of the best covers I've seen anyone do, of any song. Every note was perfect on the guitar, and your vocals have such depth. I've been playing for over 25 years and couldn't pull off a more perfect rendition of this song. Shockingly good.

I came across this a year ago and loved it. Watched it again and thought great song " maybe I should give the original another listen". And then it hit me. Just what a genius cover this all. The meaning of song, the important riffs across multiple instruments and plants vocal runs. All there. It's almost as if this is the version Zeplen themselves were trying to capture. And that is a truly rare and beautiful thing to stumble across in a music.

After listening to many covers of "The Rain Song", my opinion is this version is the cleanist, sweetist, most calming of all. Your playing, the timbre of your guitar, your soft, sultry voice all combine to make a most beautiful few minutes of listening pleasure. And when it comes to the "payoff", you deliver it with gusto, clean and powerful.

I don't think people realize how much talent it takes to play anything on Led Zeplin. I started playing guitar at 12 and now I'm 64 now and can appreciate her playing and her voice. I liked it so much I played it over again,she's got a lot of talent.

I am an old guy that grew up on Zeppelin and it warms my heart that young people today still feel the magic in their songs. I have an unopened copy of every album that they put out for my kids to fight over when I'm gone. The Rain Song has always been one of my favorites. Thanks for such a special cover.

People don't appreciate how versatile and talented Page was on acoustic guitar. Zeppelin often played an acoustic set which was a nice breather. This young woman caught my attention and was really impressive. It's nice to see good music isn't dead.
