Swapped the nvme drive for a larger one and added a 500gb Sata ssd. Also swapped in 16 gigs of ram in dual Channel. Was really a great deal I paid like 320 bucks when I bought it. @@AwesomeBlackDude Holy crap thanks, I was just about to buy this one before looking at this video
@@AwesomeBlackDude what is the best budget laptop that is good for college students.
Yo man thanks a bunch for the info :)
asianboii I’ve been looking into buying a motile 14 instead but this is my second choice
@@nucuchi looking for a laptop I could play roblox on (no lap) 😔
Acer all in all is an okay brand, but there customer service i have read to be really bad.
According to trustpilot.
I had no issues with the custome service in Germany
you cant go wrong with ryzen laptops :-)
Couldn't agree more at least until Intel catches up but right now 100% recommend buying AMD. Because they are creaming Intel in the price to performance category
Your link to this laptop is for a used system from a third party seller. I don't recommend buying from third party amazon sellers, the price is usually much higher.
There back in stock now they’ve lowered the price down to 367-370 but blue tax and shipping it comes to 399-402
Just bought the 3700u with 8 gb and upgraded to 16 gb
Dude got laptops 👍Seeing steam on that Motile made me laugh though. I'd turn that into a Linux machine. 🙄
Todd DeLozier what?
I’m thinking about getting for my twitch
I read a lot of reviews saying that the computer wears out fast. Is it?
It's a very slim light laptop I like it
Do you recommend it or should I buy some other laptop?
Can someone tell me the name of the wallpaper ,it looks really cool
Do you think the laptop would be good for editing?
If anyone reading my comment then ill keep it short, never buy acer - i own this laptop and using it for a while now and its garbage, although it comes with sufficient graphic card and ram still you cant play games in 30fps or resolution 1020x960. if you even put UA-cam video to 4k then fan start spinning, and the noise my god. its gets heated up so fast if you are keeping on your lap or on your chest while sleeping then you are done. so big no.
It already has an AMD Ryzen 7 4700u version. It's probably going to work better than this version. It has the same specs as the acer swift 3.
of course it’s gonna work better its even x2 the price, about $650. It’s the laptop I want man I’m trying to get money for it. Vega 10 graphics, 2x4 8gb ram sticks, and it runs like a beast
Hey do you know where you got that moving wall paper?
Probably Wallpaper Engine from Steam
What do you call that screen background look cool
Sorry buddy, I’m not listening to what you’re saying. Too distracted by the racks in the background so far, I spot:
1. Cactuar (Final Fantasy series)
2 Joker (Persona 5)
I'm stuck on the rest for now...
You didn't even bother to write the model no and full specs in the description of the video.
The camera lag :(
Normally you can press Num Lock for the numpad to work.
I'm watching this on my Acer aspire 5!
HOW IT IS WITH YOU ??
CAN YOU TALK ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE,
THANKS 👍👍👍👍
@@omarraed1165 Well the keyboard is very good and the display is pretty good. I can play Valorant very smoothly. But I don't have the slim version. But I do see why it is the best selling budget laptop. Are you on the Acer aspire 5?
@@cyda87 How is the battery with you my friend ??
Can you give me a spicefic number of how much time does it estimated?
And thanks for sharing your points..👍🌷
@@omarraed1165 Well you can have 8 hours of use on the battery but I use it home so I leave it plugged in.
@@cyda87 Thanks🌷
I just got this laptop but the backlit keyboard turns off after using for 30 seconds, is there any setting to change that??
after it turns off try just pressing space bar it most likely only lights up when you’re typing
Could I please get some advice. I'm looking for a laptop to get into developing Unity games and to play my Steam backlog. I don't play many intensive games like GTAV or anything and don't care about the highest resolutions or frame rates. I just need something I can keep laid on my chest on a charger and mayyyybe use as a tablet.
I'm completely lost so any help at all would be appreciated.
Edit: Forgot to mention my max budget is $900.
What is that cool background that keeps moving during the video?
Webcam lags because of the dark area.
Can you run blender on it? Not for animation but 3d modeling for prints?
really don't bother with either of these, Lenovo now has its Ryzen 4000u laptops out and they are a cracking good deal right now much better than the old Ryzen 3000U laptops
Got a Asus vivo book 15 is ryzen 3200 and Vega 3 for 260 at Walmart and bought 8 the ram of Amazon for a total of 290 for a 12gb ram 128gb ssd for Asus vivo book 15...got it on black friday...it was amazing deal
I got the motile ryzen 5 with 256 gig drive for 350 way better deal then those 2 ya single channel mem but has vaga 8 graphics
bert farry That Motile laptop gets hotter than the sun when playing games, probably not good long term compared to the Aspire 5.
Mines coming this Friday I bought an extra 4 ram stick. I’m super SUPER excited. Can 8 RAM play gmod
