I have a acer 5...it's real fast easy to use. Pleased with it for the Price. What I don't like is the Finger Print Reader, Sucks...the pad area is to small. You have to place your finger just so or it will not work.
Watching on Acer Aspire 5 (12th Gen) laptop... I do not recommend buying it. It sucks! Very noisy fan and the worst thing is touchpad which is so wide that right click and left click are so apart. With the money I paid for, I could get a decent i5 in Dell.
Nice vid - very comprehensive. My issue with the speakers is that, even with the volume set at 100, it's not loud enough. Sometimes I can barely hear the audio. (My Toshiba was loud enough with a volume level of 40.) Anyone else? Any suggestions, other than external speakers? Tx!
For years in my country Acer has been considered by many users…in a word, crap (some still do today). Even Acer’s gaming laptops are seen by many as a “cheap” and very poor alternative to better brands.….I’ve been a bit influenced by it to be honest, but I’ve never really understood why to either - my dad had an Acer laptop that he got around 2004-2005 and that lasted him until 2019 (or 2020, I don’t remember exactly) when it fell and the frame around the screen got literally split open….and yet the laptop still worked.
Honestly it always comes down to the model. All laptops brands have made good and bad models. Always best to check out the model as opposed to the brand!
