The fact that Chef JP repeats himself so frequently is how you know he's a REAL teacher. Education involves a lot of repetition.
And he's right, not everybody sees every video.
He’s the best. I’ve learned so much from him in the past year.
Chef is losing his head😂😂so many things to teach..
I have started to say his "repeat phrases" when I am cooking!!
"ONYO is always number FIRST!"
"Leave 'em alone! Leave 'em alone!" and the like!
It is a great way to reinforce the concept.
We’re all repeat offenders!!!
The Absolute Best Chef, Teacher, and Person/Personality on the internet!!
And sometimes, just sometimes, he messes up!! Like he's human!! Love it!!! ❤
You're absolutely hilarious chef, which is why I love you! ❤😂
The amount of information we get from this lovely man is why I think he has the best cooking show on the net. The best teacher we could ask for. God bless him.
🙏🙏🙏😊❤️
he is@@ChefJeanPierre
@@ChefJeanPierre 🤌🏻
I will cook this.. ❤
Amén
Such a joy to watch Chef Jean-Pierre do his thing. I can't get enough of his passion for cooking along with his humorous presentations. He is what UA-cam is all about! Thank you, Chef JP, and I look forward to so many more videos to come.
🙏🙏🙏
Can’t get any better than him! Well said my friend! 💗😍😘
I love the thing Chef JP does with his hands whenever he eats something that’s really hot, it cracks me up for some reason
A lot of his viewers live for that hahahahaa
I've looked high, and I've looked low, and there's no one like Chef Jean-Pierre who can make food the best show!!!! 🤣😋
Nothing wrong with repetition. That just means you're a very good teacher. I'm sure when you were learning how to cook, you didn't just "get it" on the first try, and needed to repeat the process many times in order for it to become muscle memory. This really helps us average Joes to retain important rules for cooking and not having to constantly think about it and second-guess. Keep up exactly what and how you're doing it, it's so fantastic to be able to learn from you and make dishes I never thought I was capable of making. Thank you!
Thank you 🙏
I've heard of Chef JP but have never watched one of his videos since I prefer to cook with just a recipe, but he is so funny and wholesome, the entire video made me smile with him constantly making jokes like "turning funny, new culinary term" and how he keeps saying "my friends". He is a precious human being who truly enjoys what he is doing and genuinely wants to teach people the same thing, I love it!
Thank you 🙏
You know that this wonderful Chef died of ALS, yes? Google it … and then say a prayer for this sweet man!
He’s the best teacher I’ve ever had.
"I forgot it was hot!" The Chef makes me think there is hope for me in the kitchen yet.
I so agree with the mushroom statement! I thought I hated them for years because all I had ever had was canned mushrooms when I was a small child. They are horrid. I didn't try fresh mushrooms until I was an adult because I thought I didn't like them! But fresh sauted onion and mushrooms? You can put that on anything and it would be good! I have realized I am allergic (not anaphylaxis level) to them, but I eat them anyway! 😂❤ Much love to Chef JP!
Jack, you're a man after my own heart (and every Italian out there)...telling the Italian chef not enough garlic!
CJP became our first choice after a workday.
My wife and I prepare our dinner already saying outloud to each other "-Hello friends!!".
And then go watch you and get inspired for our weekend special meals or simply being educated by your fantastic personality and talent.
Thank you very much for bringing love and authenticity in this world full of bitterness and fakeness.
We love you.
I been watching Chef Jean Pierre since he had brown hair. Love this guy and he made me enjoy cooking…before I couldn’t even cook rice. Now I can cook everything (even Wellington) he teaches here - and it’s FREE LESSONS!
👍👍👍😊
Thank you so much Chef ! I am retired and have been searching for a "hobby" that I can do on a daily basis. Since watching your shows you have inspired me to take up cooking. I have always been an average cook, my mom was a cook her whole life. Now I have relatives asking me to come and cook special meals for them. On mothers day I am cooking my sisters mother day dinner. We are having beef wellington, garlic mashed potatoes, and asparagus with a bearnaise sauce.
It's all thanks to your great instruction ! Keep up the good work "my friend" !
I can’t express how happy it makes me to see Chef have a new video. He works so hard for us
Yes he does 🌈
Chef is right about folks not like mushrooms because they undercook them. I'm 35 and my whole life I didn't like mushrooms. When I began watching his videos he mentioned the mushroom thing and so I tried it with one of his recipes. Now I cook with mushrooms all the time and love them. Thanks Chef JP!
👏👏👏😊👍
I sometimes make roasted mushrooms with a little salt. It's butter flavored candy 😋.
I've been cooking at home for a long time, with some basic training having worked as a side cook in restaurants for a handful of years. I've learned more and re-learned what I thought I knew from watching and listening to Chef Jean-Pierre than any other TV chef. I recommend this channel to everyone I meet with a passion for cooking!
🙏🙏🙏👍❤️
Same.
Right❤
Between this and your chicken fricassee, I am in heaven.
One of the things I like most anout Chef Jean Pierre is that he never shames people who do things a little bit different...... Just do it the way you like..... unless there's a specific reason to do it a specific way, and then he tells you why and how.
Chef, you make my day! Hello from Ireland. You have given me back my love of cooking at 70!
🙏🙏🙏❤️
4 of 7 of my best words for food - creamy, butter, garlic, mushrooms - (5th, 6th, 7th, caramelized onions, basil, umami).
Thank you Chef! I live watching your videos and trying to duplicate it myself. I'm 70 and just started cooking a few months ago thanks to you. My friends think I am a real chef!!!
No age to start cooking, congratulations. The more I watch cooking channels the more I realize how lucky I am to have been born in France and stayed or have been summoned to learn cooking. Wish you the best!
I tip my hat to you sir . i love his shows too . 👑
The incomparable Jean Pierre -- so talented, so humorous, so endearing. As an old semi-invalid, I don't know what I would do without him . . .
Love you brother Chef.I work in a kitchen in Switzerland 🇨🇭 You are the best teacher i've ever seen.Nice and easy dishes 😍👌 I just found you 🙏 I will hang on your channel forever..❤️🙏🍷👩🍳
Where do you work? I am swiss but live in the Caribbean.
Creamy Garlic Chicken definitely needs to have a serious amount of garlic in the dish - excellent suggestion, Jack!💕
It may be "Tic Tock" Jack now. He's just as amazing as Chef.
Jack needs a raise!
Well, he gets to eat all these wonderful creations so I propose that he's 'over paid'
2 days of Chef Jean recipes and I can officially say I am an " American that can cook"😂 Delicious! Love this recipe so much I got emotional. I never thought food could taste so amazing. Thank you Chef!
Honestly I don't care what you cook, love watching because you are sooo entertaining.
JP ,when I was in my apprenticeship under Chef Henri ,he loved parsley as a garnish also and small edible flowers
Congratulations on another fantastic show Chef Jean Pierre!
You are turning plain cooks into Chefs daily. And in the simplest ways, like onion always number first.😁
Except if there's bacon!
🙏🙏🙏👍❤️
@@Javdoc 🤓😄😃😁😅😂🤣😎🇺🇸
Hey, I stand corrected!
I'm not going to edit my comment to correct that mistake either. Servers me right. But rest assured, I'll never forget the bacon again!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like my Bacon, and I like my Bacon to be wrapped in Bacon...
Never get tired or the ooo's and ahh's at the end. He is so lovable!
🙏🙏🙏😊
My mother used to make the same chicken dish except she had us boys go out to the pasture and find some young new Dandelion leaves. It was always our favorite weekend meal!
Has it really been almost 3 years?! I started watching your videos with your beef stew recipe. Just checked and wow yeah, 2 years ago. Keep it up Chef!
I'm proud to be a Chef Jean-Pierre subscriber for many years!
It’s like walking into your grandfathers kitchen and just absorbing all that good knowledge! Thank you so much for sharing these videos! It’s helping me become a better home cook for my family
Hey Chef, you are well loved in my family, just so you know, when I was still an apprentice I had some great instructors and it was 'common knowledge" that the higher the chefs hat the greater the chef. I made a 4 foot tall chef's hat then walked into the classroom and the chefs were shocked then they laughed and were appreciative..great time.
Funny story, thanks for sharing!!!😊👍
JP you are a magician! I'm too old and live in a remote island to attempt to cook your recipes but I "eat" all with you and can "taste" them through my screen. You are keeping an old man alive and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. BTW ....I hope the second portion was for Jaque. 🇻🇨
Hope you are well, fellow food enjoyer!
Once again a simple dish thats cooked well. The best kind of meal in my opinion. No compromising the flavour. Just let the ingredients speeak for themselves. Bravo Chef JP. Thanks again. I've learned so much from you, gained so much confidence and most importantly. Really enjoy cooking now!
I think that this recipe might actually be Improved Upon By just Utilizing a Dutch Oven...
This is the best cooking channel by far.
Another Winner!!! We all love you Chef Jean Pierre! thank you! Please don't ever quit.🤩
I love how positive Chef JP is, he always makes us feel like we are at his home as he teaches us new techniques, recipes or better ways to do classic dishes. I grew up watching Julia Child and Graham Kerr AKA the Galloping Gourmet. JP reminds me of those folks, always enjoying himself, laughing at himself and above all, encouraging us to not give up on a recipe because we don't have the exact ingredients but to improvise and enjoy it! My favorite cooking channel by far, many thanks to Chef JP and all who bring us these great videos!
Chef, I just wanted to let you know my perspective as a subscriber for a while (about a year or so) I actually really like that you repeat your advice on different details. It really helps that knowledge stick, and it comes in handy when I'm actually cooking your dishes or other things I make. Your advice comes to mind every time I cook.
Thank you again for another amazing recipe, and sharing your knowledge with us once again. I think speak for a lot of us here, but I feel incredibly blessed to have you teaching me how to be a better chef 😊
🙏🙏🙏👍❤️
I just love hearing him talk with his cute accent, and always waiting for a slip up 😅😅😆😆😆
Wowww! Found your channel a couple of weeks ago & made your scrambled eggs (incredible), but this was the first main meal of yours that I’d tried… Made it for my family tonight and THEY ALL WANT MORE!! Absolutely divine, one of the best chicken meals I’ve had in my life 😁 thanks Chef!
👏👏👏❤️
We love you too Chef! Jack also. I'll be making this for my elderly folks. They like me doing the cooking these days. So i get many ideas from you. God Bless You 💘🥂
I could have made something similar last night if you had posted yesterday! But it's okay, I surprised my wife (I'm retired, she's not just yet) with a Chicken Alfredo with Fettuccine and it was boneless thighs instead of breast. Tried a new flavor on the chicken, added curry powder to the dry coating before sauteing and building the sauce around it. It actually worked (much to my surprise and relief). You have actually kind of inspired me to try new things when cooking, and I thank you for that. Today's recipe is one that will get saved and added to my culinary repertoire. Good video, Chef!
🙏🙏🙏👍
I really like the boneless thighs, I love Curry haven't put the two together yet but Now I Will! Thank You for giving me the idea to do that 🙂!!!
definitely have to make this thanks chef!
Thank God I found your channel chef Jean. You are simply amazing!!!! Please continue doing what you do.
My husband and daughter started this recipe before I got home from work. I watched the video and helped out with some prep and made a cucumber and onion salad with a dill dressing for a side. Daughter made the potatoes in the air fryer.
We had a great time cooking it and even better time eating! This is a great recipe! If you watch this but don’t make it, you’re missing out!
I love this recipe! So simple and super fast! This chef can't be beat for hilarious personality and a devotion to teaching. Love this man!
He can take anything simple and make it turn out fantastic.
Next to Italian food, I love creamy (buttery) French food. Chef J.P. Is a culinary genius 😃
Super proud mama moment. My husband came back for seconds and my 2 year old ate all of this! He rather eat this chicken then 1 bite of chicken nuggets. Thank you for this delicious and easy meal. 😊
The joy i get from watching John pierre is
" a-ma-zing" His personality is so contagious, and has such a wide span of culinary knowledge and is willing to break everything down step by step so even
"a child could do this"...i hope you never run out of recipes so you can make more wonderful videos for years to come 🙌
This is a dish just for me. MY family is much too picky eaters, meat and potatoes with no garnish, how boring? Love the simplicity and all the garlic.
Thanks for sharing! Your channel was a game changer for me!
Much appreciated!
Great dish!!
You speak out language with the culinary terms😂 I love your teaching style, love this dish and love you Chef.❤
You are the most amazing teacher that ever graced the internet
I don't want to see Chef get burned but does anyone else chuckle when a great chef like Jean Pierre burns his mouth on every dish? Love these videos Chef! Thank you!
Chef, it's amazing how often you read my mind! I left for work this morning wondering what I could do with my chicken breasts and potatoes when I get home. I'm even going to get some mushrooms on the way home, which I NEVER would have done before I found your channel. You're 100% correct on those, cooking them the right way makes all the difference! Thanks again!!
What a nice dish . i love the ammount of garlic :) superb 😛😋
You are a great teacher with a delightful personality!
Adore how you cook so enthusiastically and joyfully dear Chef JP.
Had a hearty laugh when you said ' I don't know why I open the wrong draws and I forgot the food was hot. 😅
That sounds amazing and childlike. So innocent and yet matured with his years of talented cooking !!
MOUTH WATERING DISHES ACROSS THE GLOBE 😋
LOVE AND LIGHT ALWAYS.❤
GOD BLESS 🙌
🙏🙏🙏😊
This recipe is in Chef J.P's book, it is amazing to see it prepared in real time. Merci Chef!
His food be lookin amazing 😊
Chef Jean, I've been a fan of yours since I was a lass. I'm so happy you're still around. My mom and I love your show ❤
I made this for my wife for Mother’s Day, she loved it! She wants me to make it again!!! I made mashed potatoes like you showed with a potato river, creamy smooth…. Thank you for this channel and all your experience…..
This dish is a work of art. You've clearly put a lot of thought and effort into every element. 👌🥰😋😋
I've avoided mushrooms for a long time, this has inspired me to try them again :)
Now I know what's missing prior to my creamy mushroom gravy, I need butter at the end! Thanks JP. Looks good 👍
If chef JP still had his restaurant and I lived in Florida I would eat here every day. No matter what he cooks it looks delicious.
I'll be making this for sure! 😋
Love mushrooms! Cooked or raw. There's something in mushrooms that makes the water in them get absorbed into the body. Some enzyme or something. But they are the best thing you eat if you're dehydrated.
Those of us who have been here from the beginning do not mind you repeating yourself for the new members. We all need to start somewhere, welcome aboard new friends! Another great recipe Chef, will be making this on Saturday!
Those potatoes remind me of back in the 80's I spent my summers commercial fishing with my grandfather (fishing, like farming doesn't have much child labor laws for relatives) and I remember we would slice the potatoes the night before and put them in a bucket of ocean water so when we fried them up they were already salty. Thanks for helping me bring back some good memories.
You are adorable and Jack is a brilliant editor/cameraman!
Always a delightful watch!!🎉
I already learned so much from you. Thank you Chef Jean-Pierre 👍
This is still the family's favourite dish
This man is a national treasure, to more countries than one!
Chef chef, even though I don't comment with most of your recipes, wow I these dish looks so delicious.
I love chicken cooked like that!! With simple ingredients!! Looks delicious and I'm jealous!!😅
Good job, chef!!💯
I watch you every day. every day. I love your channel. I fell in love with your cooking last year when I found you by mistake and I love your recipes. thank you. I love when you say " A child can do it."
Your channel had been so wonderful....just discovered it when I was going through some health issues and had to rest in bed..... watching your show inspires me to get healthy and cooking again....thank you for your love of cooking and butter! I have always loved butter and cheese....and I I am still very fit !
My favourite youtube cooking channel . Lovely food from a great chef ❤
I make a similar dish (with rice instead of potatoes) all the time! So simple, but soo good
And a large spoon to facilitate 'shoveling'? - Where you at so I can come eat!?
@@ctakitimu Germany, but if you come over, ill give you some!
1st video I have watched by Chef Jean-Pierre and now a subscriber.
Remember when chef was new. And his videos would take 40 mins, those were the good times.
Thank you chef for the recipe.
Yum! I may serve this up tonight!
I'm doing this right now chef! No cheese, but we're doing it anyway...
This was soooooo delicious! The entire family enjoyed it! Thank you chef!
Another great looking dish, chef. Thank you!
Bozhou nîkan (hello my friend, in my native language) this video popped up right before I left work today. When I arrived at home I showed my daughter and we decided to try it however we did have to go to the store and started it before mom got home. Mom made cucumber salad with taziki sauce. So our dinner was cucumber salad with taziki sauce, taters and this wonderful recipe. We absolutely loved it. I’m going to swap chicken for lapin for the next attempt. Mîgwetch (merci beaucoup) for this recipe.
Hey, nenoapam! Just saw your comment! I snagged the leftovers for lunch. Hehehe 🤭
Chef JP is a world class chef ad the most talented teacher hands down. Thanks JP
Thank you chef. Good way to start the day 😊
🌸Can’t wait to make that! Looks delicious!😋
12:39 - 12:43
This is the energy I stay for
It was wonderful! My husband and I just made this and it was AMAZING! We love your recipes and your show. We’re so happy we found you. 😊
Another amazing recipe! But please, since you did mention it, do a video on a Tournedo Rossini! That would have been lovely. Love the channel, it really brightens my week!
I feel the passion in each and every videos and dish he is making for us here:)
I like the fact that..we can all make those dish at home:)
I made this last night. It was delicious. I used angel hair pasta instead of the potatoes.
Hands up who’s mouth is watering ,mines is for one.All the very best chef 👍🏻🏴👍🏻🏴👍🏻🏴
You chopped the spinach - that's why it looks so nice in the sauce!! Adding the butter after the pan is turned off to make "creeeammy butter" instead of separated butter! Thank you Chef, we will try your recipe, maybe with rice instead of potatoes, this week. We'll save the excellent potato recipe for another time when we have pork steak with a lemon/garlic marinade on the grill. Maybe we'll even try a sweet potato, there's one in the cellar that's just the right size!
2 ways to handle the mushroom issue. I either cut them into larger pieces so those who don’t like them can move them aside or very very small so they can’t detect. They add such umaminess (my new culinary word) I just can’t leave them out. No matter how much I try to remove the water some still don’t like. A texture thing 🤔. Honestly I think it comes from eating the nasty canned things and it’s left a memory. This dish looks like it’s gonna be dinner tonight 😋
Best meal I ever ate in my life! I had to substitute heavy whipping cream with evaporated milk and it came out AMAZING!
Thank you Chef Jean-Pierre for delivering such mouthwatering recipes.
