This is an awesome video, no background music, no long intros, just straight to the point step by step recipe on how to cook creamy garlic mushroom sauce. For someone who doesn’t cook, I will cook this for my friends when they visit me after this lockdown. I wrote down the recipe and saved the video. Thank you

I cook quite a bit and while I don't consider myself a chef, I am pretty good at picking out improvements I can make to recipes I've learned. I made this one tonight for the first time (after two attempts to create the kind of mushroom garlic chicken I had in mind) and had nothing I would change. Of all the meals I've cooked over my 50+ years, this rates as the best. No joke - THE best. The combination of the lemon on the fresh salad with the earthiness from the rosemary/thyme and the richness of the heavy cream coupled with the butter, onions and mushrooms was so well balanced that I left an empty plate wishing I could turn back time and eat it all over again. Great recipe - thanks to you for one time in my life I feel like I made a meal worthy of a chef.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched this video. Tonight I finally had the courage to make it and my hubby is one happy man!
I added a teaspoon and a half of chili garlic paste as the sauce reduced.
After grilling the chicken and letting it rest, I sliced it right before adding it back into the sauce. I served in a bowl with warm tortillas.
My hubby says this is officially in the dinner rotation. Thanks for the recipe!

I made a version of this last night. Didn’t have the heavy cream so I had to improvise. Thought I’d try it with evaporated milk as you suggested as an alternative, but last minute decided it just wouldn’t be the same without the thick amazing flavor of cream. So instead, I added a real heavy-handed splash of cooking sherry, added the chicken back in, topped it with smoked mozzarella, then let it simmer for a minute or two until the cheese melted.
I used far lesser amounts of seasonings too.
    This. was. so. good!
I have another recipe that’s similar, but made with cooking sherry, so I hoped it would work.
For me, every recipe is just a guide. I always like to see what people do that’s different from my ideas.
Next time I still want to try your creamy sauce version because I think it would be amazing.
    Thank you for your recipe!

Since retiring (some 12 plus years ago) I have taken over the kitchen and all that entails...(believe me when I tell you that my wife of over 40 years did not object). I enjoy cooking and the bottom line here is that of all the videos I've watched concerning cooking, this for me, has it all. Recipe looks and sounds good, explanation was simple and direct and there was no goofy music in the background. All I can say is: well done!

Looks absolutely delicious. I make a recipe very similiar. 1- i didnt know NOT to sdd salt to mushrooms at the beginning but it makes sense and 2- when I make the salad dressing I add a good balsamic vs maple syrup, and 3- i add a out 3 tbs of red wine ,(merlot) to mushrooms the lasr 3 mins thry are cooking, and the dish is outstanding. But Im defonitely going to be trying your recipe!

Followed recipe as directed. Wonderful flavor combination. I would have likely served over basmati rice, but the arugula and dressing was a welcome alternative.
