I tore a hole in my favorite jacket, I spoke to a seamstress but she said she couldn't do it for a month minimum.
I bought a 7$ kit on Amazon, said, Ok, WIth youtube this should be easy.
I was so mistaken, Every, single, Tutorial, I watched. Skipped steps, or glanced over key steps, saying "I assume you already know how to do this". I'd never touched a needle in my life. YOU are the only tutorial that is actually a tutorial! Thank you so much.

what if it tore along the seam and off to the side? (same location please)
If I am understanding you correctly, the method shown in the video can be applied to repair torn seams along the sleeve as well.
