Yup, there are all kinds of legends in this world.
Kevin is like the living embodiment of the term: "Do not try this at home." He can do this because he's raised many of them from birth and has bonded with the prides for years. Truly one of the few people on planet Earth who can do this. Simply extraordinary imagery here. More than a metric-tonne of lions collapsing on top of him! Just incredible.
His compassion and courage is what most lionlovers failed to become true kindred spirit
This guy is truly amazing. He not only cares for the welfare of the lions and other Big Cats, but he actively strives to make the world a better place for them. I couldn’t admire him more.

I grew up on a farm. The goose and roosters and turkeys are extremely aggressive jumping on your head to attack you viciously. Same goes with hens that lie their eggs. We kept our hen inside the house. I had to tiptoe cause she was very sensitive to noise and any step I made was like walking around a bomb mine. Far more dangerous than a lion.

Farmers kill them because they are worried about the safety of themselves and those they love. They are worried about them killing their livestock, the farmers' livelihood. It's not just about greed and violence.
@@calicoc1335 as land that was once the terrain and territory of lions and other wild animals is urbanised as well as utilised for farming, lions and other wild creatures have less and less habitat. Throw that into the mix along with greedy hunters and the ilk that enable greedy hunters, I think I can safely say human greed and violence are contributing to declining lion numbers. The recent case in the US of wild mountain lions being killed for coming into urban areas is a prime example.

@@africanviolet7817 They're not sacred animals to the farmers and families that live amongst them in the country - they're just a threat to their livestock and their family. It's not all poaching and greed - some people are just trying to survive and they'd rather kill a lion than risk their livestock being taken and lose the chance of not having money for food or water. The human species is growing so fast that the space between us and wild animals is inevitably becoming smaller and smaller. It's really sad but part of their decline was always inevitable
@@infj555 I did not say they were sacred. However, they are endangered. I've lived in Africa most of my life and there is nothing that beats the thrill of seeing these majestic animals in the wild. I'd like to see them protected and saved as there's no disputing they're endangered. There must be other methods to protect livestock rather than just pulling a trigger, which is where education and conservation needs to intersect. I really want to see lions and all other endangered species saved and preserved for future generations, including the habitat to sustain them.
