Here is my catch up with the animals at The Sanctuary after a little break. The behaviour is always different, some energised to see me, others can be indifferent. So lovely to see how you bond with those male Lions. When you say 'My boy'..they respond so closely and obviously see you as their Carer. Definitely. That was something else; indescribable. Even just hearing it through headphones, it feels as if the sound hits and vibrates the very centre of me. With a slackened jaw, I'm left speechless; in awe. 🖤
@@LionWhispererTV When Bobcat roared my iPad vibrated. I can imagine how incredible it must be to sit beside him and feel his power.
When I went to a big zoo in September 2019, I saw a Lion in person for the first time. It was first lying in grass, then it got up to walk. As it walked, it was Roaring. It was the thrill of a lifetime! I got it on video too. There were not fences at that zoo. Just natural barriers. So when I zoomed in with my camera, it gave me nice close up pictures that looked like it was in the wild.

Bobcat's Roaring was awesome! I think he was announcing to everyone: "Hey, my best friend is back and I'm so excited!" George and Yame were very affectionate. And it's always enjoyable to see the Black Leopards eat their favorite snack of Pulchards in tomato sauce. Those leopards look so good for 21 years old. Y'know, I've been subscribed to Kevin's channel for years. And it's moments like 3:30 that still never cease to amaze me. That he's able to pet a large, gorgeous animal like this is extraordinary. Instead of a 15-lb house-cat it's a 400-lb lion. And then captures the call-and-answer roaring completely up-close and personal. Magnificent. Remarkable footage. And look at the look on Kevin's face. He still knows he got to witness and feel something extraordinary. It's like: "this is why I do this guys!"

One of the many things I love about these films is the depth of the lions roar .When Meg and Amy roared together in time shortly before Amy died that was very magical..❤🦁♥️🚧
Kevin has the best job. Being a volunteer rescue and foster caregiver I know it's hard work, but it's also so heartwarming being able to share those moments with the animals. It's good to take a break to recharge and renew for animal rescuers and caregivers. You're the best❤🦁🐆❤
You’re in Kentucky? I’m in Tennessee. I admire you for the work you do. Our wildlife need all the help we can give them.
@@Debra.Justice Thank you for the kind words. I have been an animal lover my whole life. Animal rescue can be hard work and emotionally difficult at times due to the horrific things people do to animals. However, the rewards of being a small part of seeing them going on to better lives is worth it.
@@DebS819-TeamKentucky You’re doing the Lord’s work by helping His animals. I contribute as much money as I can to several wildlife organizations. Living on social security I can’t afford much, but I hope my efforts help. Like you, I’ve loved animals my entire life. It’s difficult to make people understand just what animals do for my happiness. Other animal lovers understand it I’m sure. I honestly prefer the company of animals more than people. Thank you again for everything you do and for the strength to deal with difficult situations. God bless you and all the world’s beautiful animals.

@@garyssimo Come on down. We’d love to have you. I live in Knoxville and it’s about a 45 minute drive to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. My neighbor is from California, also the Bay Area. Living in the South is different from living in California, but we’re a friendly bunch and we love our SEC football. 😉
Loved seeing each greeting; the beautiful leopards, but Bobcat's lion roar was the highlight. Having experienced lions roaring in person, as you said, the ground actually trembles. They are magnificent! Thank you for sharing such beautiful experiences.

Sometimes I cry watching your videos because they are so touching and one day they will vanish. I cant bear it I get very emotional. I want my love to protect all of you.
I’m glad I’m not the only one that cries watching Kevin’s videos. Animals touch my heart and soul and give me so much peace and contentment. I become so emotional at the thought of some animals becoming extinct. We have anti-wildlife extremists in the US trying to eliminate bears and wolves. It’s a sad time for animal lovers.

Wow! The power and Bass in the roar is incredible. What I’d give to experience that! And what a sweet treat to see my favorite black leopards ever. 21 years! That’s a representation on how happy they are and the top notch care you give these magnificent animals. Another beautiful video, Kevin. Question: are George and Yame considered twins or are they just brothers from the same litter? I’ve always wondered how to tell if a litter has twins or not.
Felt crap all day (Parkinsons), then I heard Bobcat roar! Kevin, I can't stop grinning now! I know what you mean about the ground trembling - I spent a stunning ten days touring round the Kruger in 1982/3, the sounds at night were awesome. Spent some time at a small lion par just near Jo'berg too. Thanks for all the video clips, they really are superb therapy, and so informative.

Years ago I volunteered at an animal sanctuary. I know how amazing it feels when the lions start roaring. Everyone would stop what they were doing and just let the vibrations of the roars fill them up. It was an amazing feeling.

Lions are soooo majestic & just absolutely beautiful! I love, love, LOVE that roar he had. It can make the hair on your skin rise. I used to work near a rehab facility for wild animals & they had a massive lion there. He was HUGE!!! I used to go see him as often as I could just because I was one of the few that was allowed to do so. I loved that big boy. He used to let me scratch him for a lil while. He would let me know when he was done. He definitely was not like those lions you are with there. This poor guy had to live in a caged area & I hated that he had such a small area to live in. I heard that facility moved to a much larger location out of state so I never got to see him again. I never even got to say goodbye to him. He was a big sweetie. I miss him & his roars. Much love to you & what you do. I wish I could work with you & do what you do. I have always worked with animals much better than people. I read animals better than people. Maybe I should have been born an animal. LOL Anyway, much love to you & your work. You are amazing!!! 🐾🥰🐾
I never get tired of being amazed at this. I don't know how you do it, but I love all animals and yet I'd be very nervous having that interaction like you do. My own cats sometimes turn on me and take a swat if I've petted them too long or they just get in a bad mood. wonderful clips.

Most of us are unable to see live lions, and if we do they are in a zoo behind wired fences. You are so fortunate to be with them side-by-side in nature. That is such a privilege in life.
