One of the things witnessed was social boundaries. All present respected each other and were clear of their boundaries . If this gorilla can understand that why can't humans. In both people and gorillasthere is an element of free will. In this case they both behaved for the greater good. We.can learn alot in watching this example of the ability to exercise free will.

Kindness for animals but ALL ANIMALS. @@Calliope634 yes and no. We are humans and humans eat everything included flesh. Its not healthy to eat meat everyday but we need it, its nature. I am against mass production and stuff like that. We must kill animals to eat but there is a natural way and a industrial way... i found a good company here in europe there you can buy meat but the animal just got killed when every part of it its already sold and the animals live in peace with more than enough space and they get treated well. If anyone would look that he dont eat to much and not from mass production everything would be fine but the most humans dont use there brain they need gucci cloth and likes on socialmedia their brains are so full of garbage there is no place for morality and stuff like that. In the end it is the same that i said before money god damn money not more not less. As long big companys can make money they will make it the only way to stop it is showing them that they cant make money anymore but there are so many poor ppl and they dont have a other opportunity than buying sheep meat instead of going to the right places and pay more than double of what they pay in supermarkets. @@Pawelover Money is not the route of all evil. Money is a tool to be used and for the good of self and others or for destruction. Humans apparently have cognitive Bias leading people to believe their are superior which very often is not the case, however, humans have choice and power over fellow humans and the animal kingdom. They choose to treat others in the worst possible manner and that is an undisputed fact. I disagree that people need to eat flesh. After doing an extensive research I came to the conclusion that eating flesh is not the healthiest food for humans, is detrimental to the planet and there is no reason to mention the unspeakable atrocities that animals are subjected to. Unfortunately there is no such thing as HUMANE KILLING. Killing is killing and nothing can change that. We cannot have selective compassion. Many great minds historically from ancient philosophers to modern day great minds have warned humanity that we will never know peace or health if we continue to destroy other species and the planet. Anyway, I respect the right for people to have opinions even if I do not agree with them. This is my take on the issue of animals ext. God Bless.

So an interesting parallel is how in the U.S a man took his wife to Alaska to study Grizzly Bears (free youtube film called ‘Grizzly Man’) and they were both mauled to death following an encounter. Obviously if you watch the documentary I recommended you will see that he is nothing close to Damien. However what I find interesting is how certain humans have a desire/compulsion to be near such dangerous animals. Damien clealry did it the right way as opposed to the man I’m refering to (his name keeps escaping me). Anyways, crazy how we attempt to interact with nature
@Thou Swell damn thank you! Idk how I kept forgetting when they repeated his name a thousand times in the doc lol

You mean it was a *primate* moment.
Kev I agree: it is like a Human moment
What is human? We are all the same. We humans are a bit more ahead but all the core feelings are present in all animals. If you feed a wild animal it will become almost human. If you leave a human to starve, it will become an animal, it will become feral and will kill to survive.

In a way most of us are the same way. Humans are capable of horrible things but the majority of us aren't dangerous.
@peace Which God?

I just wanted to elaborate on your comment which resonates with me and I am in full agreement.
So as long there is money animals will suffer from it and now we are on the same point like before money... god damn money
God Bless.

The act of wearing the hat showed tremendous intelligence for an animal.
Well yeah. Primates are smart; is included!
Myishen Haines, I don’t think many primates would have the intelligence/awareness to put someone’s hat on their own head. I can’t imagine that monkeys would do that. Maybe I’m wrong.
@@kevin6293 Not every primate, but the larger primates (Chimps, gorillas and orangutans) are smart enough to do that
They're still not smart enough to understand self awareness. When researchers put paint on an animals face and then put a mirror in front of them, only elephants and crows try to rub it off. All other animals tested don't understand the reflection
