Heart-warming moment WILD GORILLAS accept Damian Aspinall's wife Victoria - OFFICIAL VIDEO
Вставка
- Опубліковано 13 вер 2017
- In June 2017 our Chairman, Damian Aspinall and his wife, Victoria, made a special trip to our project in Gabon to oversee the transfer of a young gorilla group from the sanctuary where they met, to our Gorilla Protection Project in the Batéké Plateau National Park.
During their trip, Damian and Victoria met up with Djalta and Ima; two male gorillas from Howletts Wild Animal Park in Kent, who made the journey back to the wild in 2003.

He handled everything he touched so delicately. His handling of the hat, like he was very aware of his own strength. Such a beautiful boy. Such a beautiful family.
Ofcourse they moderate there strength the same as We do, you would not handle a cat or rabbit with the same strength and you would with a human child.
@@HOLLASOUNDS Yes, but it's also amazing to see them do acts that we do in similar ways, including picking at his eye, holding the hat, and showing affection to the humans. It can give perspective about our own actions in ways we hadn't considered. It can also make you think about the relationship between sentience and intelligence too, eh?

He doesn't know who she is and yet after only one time seeing her, he is showing her his full affection and attention. So sweet. Btw, I find it hilarious that the other gorilla was sitting there like watching a tv show and wondering what's gonna happen next lol.
If there was more people like this man using his wealth to save wild apes that would be wonderful, sadly however it's not enough and with correct deforestation, all great apes including Chimpanzees, Orangutans, and Gorilla will be extinct in the wild by 2050.
Well God gave man dominion over the animals and Adam even named them all one by one...THE WORD says so.

The way he takes off the hat and puts it on his head is one of the simplest yet easiest ways to demonstrate the level of intelligence they have.
The way he literally takes it off and looks embarrassed when they started laughing
@Eric Miret Yes, people overestimate the depth of animal thinking and feelings and assume they all just think exactly like we do. Yes, they're very intelligent, but they are not humans, and that cannot be understated.
It's a similar thing with dogs too. Dogs can look guilty when they do something bad, but studies have found that dogs don't actually feel guilt at all, but people think they do because of their facial expressions

@@clitoralrosary9474 my dog understands when he is being laughed at. He's a boadercollie so he's pretty smart, but I would not be suprised at all to find that a gorilla is smarter.
Hell, sometimes I swear even my cat understands laughing and crying and absolutely knows the difference.
They both definitely get visibly upset when we laugh AT them and not when we just laugh in general.
What's so amazing to me, is how highly-intelligent these mammals are.
I still come back to this video a lot, it's such a beautiful interaction. Just goes to show how special it is to live on this planet and to be what we are that humans can connect with so many other species, even ones dangerous to us, without an established language and still be able to reach a mutual understanding and peacefulness.
tbh most great apes have very similar body language
@@God-ch8lq This is true, but humans also bond with many other species that do not share similar body language to us. Elephants, horses, cats, birds just to name a few. It's something special that humans are so adept at deciphering other species body language and behavior in order to create these bonds is what I'm getting at.
