Kinda looked like he was struggling with stability? I wonder if adding some rake to the bars might help with that. The bars going straight up seem odd to me.
He's still learning, but the bars are in a very mini bike location for sure. They are welded to the forks so we'd have to bend them, but we ARE Tyranis Customs after all...
