Hey man, nice build! So I just picked up that same exact speedometer… have you had any issue with that little magnet flying off the wheel? Or did you add glue/epoxy to help? I’m afraid it’ll fly off…
@@jpoletes thanks and nope it’s a strong little booger! I was thinking similarly. Once in place you immediately feel how strong it is. Guessing some rare earth super magnet? But interesting enough the battery just died last month after 3.5 years Easy to replace but had to reset everything. And thanks for watching. This vid was a big departure from my channels usual content. Fun to make!
Great I’ll give it a try! I scrapped a little paint off the wheel to help a bit more. So I have the same bike and wheel size as yours… what did you set for wheel size on the unit? I can’t tell what measurement that is. I put 600 for six inch wheel but not sure.
@@jpoletes ok I can’t remember the exact variable but it’s based on the overall tire height not the wheel. I didn’t retain the direction and had to use their website to get back in the game. Good luck and even a few years after the build our mini is bringing us a lot of joy. Up to like almost 300 miles worth in fact!
I actually figured it out by trying different parameters and comparing to a gps speedo side by side. Seems 1.110 works with 145/70-6 tire. Anyways thanks and happy riding!
Joey thanks for checkin out my vid. It was a big departure from my usual dirt bike content. I Hope ya enjoyed it! This little death machine is sooooo much fun. To be honest I have no idea as I never perused an e version. But dang if they make a electric replacement motor that goes 50+ MPG I'm down!
Awesome looking rig !! I thinking of pulling the trigger on the same kit, but see that those street tires are not available. Also, is that a "stage 1" kit on your motor or "stage 2"?? I'm 213lbs so...I want to make sure I got enough "juice" to get me going, lol !! Again, nice build sir !
Thanks and appreciate ya watching! They were out of these tires last year too. I remember waiting till they were in. I can’t remember the hop up kit, I’d guess a stage one? Aside from that fun machine and love ripping around the neighborhood!
I can't remember but will look tonight and let ya know. It was a German product and designed for the road bicycle industry. Very slick unit and hyper accurate. And thanks for watching that little mini is soooooooo much fun!
Nice !!! Anyway you could provide the link or details on your brake light do-hickey? I have the same set up and have been trying to find a brake light switch to have a working brake light.
Same fitment as my KTM 300. There may be less expensive or other options available but this will give ya the idea. Here's a link. Very simple install as well. slavensracing.com/shop/rear-brake-light-switch-14-ktm-ee/ And thanks for watching. This was a departure from my usual dirt bike content. If ya like those kind of vids please consider subscribing!
Feel ya, it difficult at times. I'm lucky that there are 60 hour weeks mixed in with 35 hour weeks. I try to find a balance of work and play. Good luck and thanks for watching! This one was defiantly a departure from my usual moto related travel vids!
Just got my rascal kit, and ya very annoying they don’t provide the hardware for the rear brake caliper. I mean that’s an important piece to have and it needs to be done correct as it’s a safety component... Also mine, many of the holes were just pilot holes so the bolts that went there didn’t fit and they told me I need to drill it out myself. I got sent a random universal sprocket, with a universal sprocket adapter with no instructions on how the correct way it’s supposed to go and bolt up and the hardware wasn’t provided for it either. Kind of a bummer for how it’s the most expensive mini bike kit on the market and its missing hardware to complete it, and if they don’t drill out stuff befor they send it, your required to figure it out yourself.
Sorry just saw this. Mini vids are not necessarily my jam, mostly dirt bike channel. Not sure the size but they are the stock bars that come with the Go Power Sports Rascal kit.
Really great looking bike! What size tires are those? 15 X 5-6? Also you Track down so cool add on’s. Battery, Battery Holder, Taillight, Headlight, Buttons, Speedometer… Can you list where you got them or can I reach out to you via email?
Hey David thanks for taking the time to check out the build vid and if ya dig proper dirt bike content please consider subscribing to my growing channel! This vid is a big departure from my usual single track jam. Correct GoPowerSports Ultimate mini bike street tires 15x5-6. The lithium battery and box are from LowbrowCustoms.com (they make parts for V-Twins). The headlight which is total over kill is from Baja Designs, a 2500 lumen S2 Pro with an amber dust cover.. The buttons are generic KTM kill switch buttons and the Sigma speedo is from Germany and used for race bicycles. Fun project and really enjoy riding it around the neighborhood and to the local pub!
@@mikecolesvids Thank you very much for the info. I will definitely check out those parts & add to my mini. I will go subscribe & check out the two wheel content. Thanks again.
Hello, where did you get the switch that connects to the banjo bolt for the taillight? Also, where did you get the taillight and headlight. Last question, are you using a 4 cell antigravity battery 6 amp hour? Is the battery powerful enough to start it and run the lights? Thanks
Thanks for watching and glad ya dig the machine. The brake modulator is the same for any two stroke KTM slavensracing.com/shop/rear-brake-light-switch-14-ktm-ee/ this one came from Slavens racing.
The mini battery and battery box came from Lowbrow Customs a V-twin product company www.lowbrowcustoms.com/collections/motorcycle-battery-box/products/gasbox-antigravity-4-cell-universal-battery-box-flat-mount-tumbled-aluminum
As for the battery it’s plenty strong to run the lights and starter. I don’t know if charges much from the motor running so once a month or so I plug it into the charger. Never takes much to top it off.
Pretty cool build Mike, do the local cops hassle ya? When I was a kid with minibikes in S. Fla they took particular delight in making our lives miserable. Seems like these days they got better stuff to do and far worse offenders.
That thing is rolling mayhem. Looks awesome 🤙
Thanks it's so much fun but at 50 mph my eyes shake so much I can't see and my teeth hurt! I appreciate ya watching.

Great video. It looks like the price of these has gone up over the past year. Is there a electric adult mini bike you could recommend for around $500?

Thanks for watching and yea super fun but sketch. It’s tagged but identifies as a 2009 150cc Italian scooter 🤞
Sick top speed?
Yes a pure death machine! Thanks for watching. This vid was a big departure from my usual dirt bike related content, glad to see folks enjoying it!
