Patti - awesome!! Was thinking, if there was a way to make the topper removable, you could fill the mug with candy treats. I wonder if you could make a short “neck” with the same chipboard just a little more narrow than the circle and attach it with glue after the “whipped cream” has dried.

Thanks. Yes, you can make it without glueing it on. The spackling dries rock hard. you are not going to mess it up taking it on and off. I made one like that too for a mug that I did not want to mess up.

Yes, just don't glue the mug topper on. It will sit on top of the mug, to make sure it does not fall off, you can glue a toilet paper roll to the bottom to make sure it stays on the mug.
Hi Patti I absolutely love all your videos. I’m having a problem with my lightweight sparkling , it’s to soft like it melting after I apply it to my form . Is there anything I can add to make it stiffer? It gets so frustrating. ❤
Sorry about that. I only use the Dap Fast n Firm. It is the only one I have found that you don't have to add paint to to make it white. It is very thick. amzn.to/41pviow

Thanks Bonnie. I glued my topper down because I mailed them to family members. You don't have to glue them. I added a toilet roll to the bottom of one so it would stay on the mug unglued. I will try to do a video on tennis shoes with the doll tree shoes this year. Thanks, Patti

You need to use a #2 piping tip and cut a hole in the bag big enough to just show the end of the tip through. Was you spackling soft? Sometime they get hard if they have been opened before.

Great idea Susie. I will have to try that. Chip board is just a thicker cardboard. You can get it at Hobby Lobby and Michaels.

Oh I forgot to tell you to put the marbles in the bottom pan an put a pc of cardboard on top pan it should hang over about 1” all the way around..

I tried this but couldn’t get the spackling to move thru the bag to pipe it on… any idea what I’m doing wrong? I got the lightweight spackle…

It was probably the spackling. It was from dollar tree. It didn’t seem as soft as yours
