- This realistic no resin fake hot cocoa tutorial using a simple Dollar Tree mug is so easy even fake bake beginners can make it.
I'll also show you how to make fake marshmallows and faux whipped cream to top it off. The marshmallows actually sink down in to make it look even more realistic.

I could literally watch your videos for fake bake all day long lol. I love this one! And I thought someone was whistling lol I was already following you from finding you via trying to find fake bake videos. And today I searched for fake coffee and found your spilled cup and now this one. I'm so going to try this one
So glad you found me! I got a new microphone that hopefully will cut out some of the background noise. I live in New Mexico and it's almost always windy. It's a struggle 😂
Another amazing idea.. love that there is another alternative to resin. Thank you for sharing!❤
Thanks Carol!
This came out amazing!!!! I was wondering what the noise was lol my dog could hear it too and was looking at me like I was doing it hahaha it’s very windy here in maine as well!!! 10 inches of snow coming tomorrow morning into Thursday morning!! Thank you so much for sharing this with us all, I always look forward to your videos ❤
😂 There's always something going on in the background when I record. Either the snow is melting and dripping off the roof, the wind is blowing, or its thundering. I can't win! 10 inches of snow sounds amazing!!!!!
I thought the TV was on in the background. That was some loud wind.
@@barbarakozlowski2642 😂 We have a lot of wind here in New Mexico all the time but that day was really crazy. But the show must go on!
OMG, this looks like the real thing!!! I LOVE everything you make!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!! Happy Thanksgiving 🦃
Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving to you 🥧
Thank you for your tutorial, I'm looking forward to making these this Christmas for gifts 🎁
You're welcome 😊

Thank you ❤️
this is the best hot chocolate. I love it 💕
Thank you so much, Barbara 🥰
Hey Cassie I made a bunch last year for co-workers using the taller clear cup with the handle and the foot from Dollar tree. I won't be doing that again took way too long, I thought you had a bird in the other room when I heard the whistling lol
🤣😂 No birds here...just crazy New Mexico wind. I guess the weather didn't get the memo that I needed quiet for recording 😆
Looks great 👍
Thank you!
Another fantastic tutorial
Thank you, Hilary! 🥰
Love this Cassie. Thanks so much
Thank you, Brenda 🥰
@@CassieSmallwood you are more than welcome. I appreciate you tremendously ❤️
@@brendawelch3846 I appreciate you too!
lt look goodty
Thank you for this! I made 6 of these last night in christmas mugs for a photoshoot I have coming up in two weeks. Any idea on how long it will take for the "coco" to set up solid?
It depends how thick it is. A few days if it's not more than 1/2 inch. You can put a small fan blowing on it if you want to speed it up. That's what I do.
How would you make fake mousse?
I have a pudding video here. Mousse would be very similar just not as glossy. ua-cam.com/video/CaFg_XN8fKs/v-deo.html
I have to try the hot cocoa with the caulk.. t.y
How do you recommend storing the "whipped cream" in the piping bag? Sometimes it works for me to store it in a zip lock bag and other times the tip gets too hardened to clear it out and it can't be used. I hate to clean it out and put it back in a container every time because you lose too much product that way.
I usually try to kind of fold the piping bag so that the tip is rolled up inside and then store in an airtight food container. It will last for a few months like that. Also you can save your old spackle containers to do this because those are very airtight so it will last longer.
@@CassieSmallwood Thanks, so much, for the quick reply and your feedback. I will have to try that!!
Did you put straight paint in the cup or did you mix it with something? 🇨🇦
It's just paint inside the cup
@@CassieSmallwood! getting back to me right away and what did you use in the top of the cup is chocolate what were the ingredients? Thanks.
Hi, quick question....are the marshmallows dry, or can these be placed right after you finished making them?. Thanks!!
Either way is fine 🙂 They don't need to be dry.
@@CassieSmallwood how lovely of you to respond. I have a small home-based Art Studio for kids and I would love to bring a similar project to class. Thank you, have a delightful day!!!
