You mentioned Joint Compound, what kind of Joint Compound? All purpose?
@@suewrensch2765 yes, the powder kind, not the premixed stuff. You can use it in place of flour or cornstarch as fake powdered sugar too and it sticks MUCH BETTER.
Helped me a lot 🎉Thank you 😊
I'm so happy to hear that 😊
Thank You very much

Hugs right back at ya 🤗
Thanks Cassie! So helpful. Do you have any tips for making my spackle look white instead of greyish white? Thanks.
Add white acrylic paint to it. Sorry I forgot to mention that in the video. A lot of the brands are coming in the container white now but once in a while I get a grayish one.
Great video!!! ☺️
Thank you 🥰
@@CassieSmallwood your Welcome!!
Thank you! this video was so helpful! I have one question, how do you seal the spackle?
You don't need to seal it. Is there a reason you want to?
You are a great teacher!!! I started making fake cupcakes. I store them in a Rubbermaid, but I’m finding that some are cracking. Any suggestions?? Thanks!!!
Which part is cracking? The spackling?
Thank you for your tutorial. It’s very helpful.
Now I can try making them your way and not stress out.
So many good tips.
I want to order the beads what size 3 or 4 mm?
Thank you again💕
The ones I used in this video were 4mm 😊
@@CassieSmallwood thank you 🧁
Do you seal it when dried? What do you use if you do seal it? Thanks
No, I don't seal it
Hello, how long do they take to dry? My toppers are not Harding up after two days? Everything looked perfect when I made them. Not sure if I am doing something wrong.
Thank you in advance 🙏🏼
They should dry to the touch within a few hours but the underneath can take days depending how much is on there especially if you live somewhere cold. I like to put a little fan blowing on mine to speed up the process.
It’s cold and raining makes sense! Thank you so much once again 🙏🏼
No matter how thin my spackle is, I cannot get it to pipe. I’ve blown out the bag, and it still won’t come out the tip (I’m using a tip with a large hole). I’m really frustrated, and can’t figure out what to do😢
What brand are you using?
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. It was my first try, so I bought a small container from Dollar Tree. I guess brand matters😋. What do your recommend? Where do you get it?
@@jenniferday8060 The Dollar Tree one is horrible, very dry and gray. I would say that's your problem. I use Dap but a lot of other people like Red Devil. You can get both of those on Amazon for cheaper than the hardware stores.
💚💚💚🤗
Ugh. I’m gonna cry. It won’t stick to my cardboard/styrofoam. To thick???
Yes. Add a little water. Don't cry. You got this!
@@CassieSmallwood I GOT IT! Wish I could send a picture! Happy woman here!!!
