  • A city in Malaysia that was built in the middle of a jungle, with the highest twin towers in the world. The multiculturalism is a part of everyday life here, the average age of inhabitants is 27.4. The old town and the new town, the heart of the former rural-urban core beats next to the sky-scrappers. Kuala Lumpur, a city that never sleeps.

I've visited 4 main cities in SE Asia: KL, Jakarta, Bangkok and Singapore - all amazing cities in their own right but KL is my favourite, then Singapore, then Bangkok and least favourite of the 4 is Jakarta even though I love that city too

I love KL and Malaysian people's hospitality. You have very good manners and professional conduct, for the most part.

that lady's explanation on batik motives gave me a cringe...as a matter of fact Quran never say anything about "prohibition of sketching Batik with animal motives that includes pigs and dogs" the guideline actually existed in Hadith- Not to carve/craft/draw any living creature as simple as that...

There are no Chinese and Indian quarters in Kuala Lumpur. There are Chinatown and Little India which are not the prime residential areas of the Chinese and Indians respectively. In Kuala Lumpur, the Chinese and Indians live all over the city.

The name of the vet at the Bird Park is Kartini. Ahmad is her father's name. Malays do not have surnames/family names the way Westerners/Chinese ppl do. He should have referred to her as Dr Kartini, not Dr Ahmad.

Dude the river cannot be seen today? It klang river right beside masjid jamek! The metropolitan region is also known as klang valley. Leftover jungle would also include bukit nanas at about 9.8 ha. The bird park is about 8 ha. Klang valley has a few forest reserves as part of water system.
