I'm so sorry that you've experienced this. I'm not sure where you're from. I lived in the UK for about 4 years and came back to Malaysia and had reverse culture shock myself. When i first got back, I did think people are disrespectful and all. But really, people are super friendly, kind and casual. We certainly do not have the formality like other countries do. It's just how the society is. Please do visit Malaysia again and you might see a different side of us!
