You missed out Saloma Bridge , Merdeka118, Jalan Bukit Bintang Kg.Baru, Little India,Tasik Perdana, Tasik Titiwangsa, Old Palace Museum, National Museum, Dataran Merdeka, Royal town klang for Bak Kut Teh and a day trip to Putrajaya,Kajang satay (the best satay in Malaysia) and Resort World Genting Highland for Theme Park. Jalan pudu has more varieties of foods and sells at cheaper prices vs Jalan Alor which is mainly operated by foreigners and it is a tourist trap !😦
I’m literally going there in few days to spend 10 days with my family, they left all the planing on me and here I’m taking all the plans from u guys, thanks 😁
"Jalan Alor" should not be put together with "affordable prices" in one sentence 😅 ...it is extremely overpriced and lacks the "local (Malaysian) taste" but more of the "south east asian" taste. Its a tourist trap where you are paying like RM 5 for 3 pieces of Pisang Goreng where at other local establishements you could easily get RM 1 for 3 or 2 pieces.
@@mdsakibbinshahabuddin7383 In general, authentic with reasonable price: - Malay cuisine, head to Kampung Baru (walking distance from KLCC via Saloma Link bridge). - Chinese cuisine, look at Pudu (the old Chinatown). - Indian cuisine, Brickfields (Little India). Since Malaysia consists of 3 main ethnic group, Malay cuisine is authentic while some Chinese and Indian cuisine available here are unique to this region/country, which are fusions of local 'influence' to the dish - i.e. you can't get the dish in China or India. Lookin at your name, I assume that you are a Muslim, so for Chinese cuisine make sure to look for Chinese Muslim restaurants (there are many here), and for Indian, look for Mamak (Indian Muslim) restaurants - there will be no sign indicating its a Mamak so just ask the locals.
This is so subjective! I don’t mind paying tourist prices on holiday. It probably costs the vendors more to rent in Jalan Alor and it feels approachable for English-speaking tourists so they can get paid a bit more. And the locals wouldn’t buy here if the wait and the price was high 😂I don’t mind paying more in that case!
Awesome list i did all of the places listed in your video but I can add a few more: Wilayat Mosque, KL National Mosque, Jamek Mosque, Kl Tower (next to Eco Forest), National Monument, Perdana Botanical Gardens, Bird Park, KL Gallery (right where you are in the video at Merdeka Square), KLCC Aquarium, Little India, Istana Negara (King's Palace) and half day trip to Putrajaya
@@leen_lee It was very and modern. I would see the Putra Mosque and the Presendential House close by, Iron Mosque, Putra Bridge and some of the surrounding parks - only need half a day there

Thanks for watching! The best area to stay is in the city center itself as you're close to most tourist attractions. Bukit Bintang or around KLCC would also be a good location. However, it's easy to get around KL so any place you like could work. We stayed in KL East and took a Grab to the center every day which worked fine!

this looks really great, but I'm thinking of taking my mum in August. is the heat that bad? that's where the concern would be
Kuala Lumpur is always hot. Average in August is 32°, but it's not so much the heat but also the humidity
